Pitcher measures 4 3/4" tall and sugar bowl measures 5 3/4" tall and 6 3/4" wide including handles. The pieces have no breaks or repairs. The sugar bowl has a chip on the outer rim near the handle and has several brown specks. Lines, etc. The pitcher has tanned and has 3 chips on the rim and a chip on the foot. There are are tan spots on the rim where the porcelain wore off? This is an antique Bavarian sugar bowl and creamer with a white background. The upper half of both have a yellow/gold paint with a floral bouquet of assorted wild flowers. The top of both have a black trim with a black line separating the white bottom half and the yellow/gold top. The creamer also has a black trim on the handle and around top to the pourer. The sugar bowl lid is also hand painted with yellow/gold with black trim and white around the rest of the lid to the handle. There is 1 flaw: sugar bowl handle. Front left side, appears to have been cracked and then repaired. The crack can be seen but not felt. The rest if the sugar bowl and creamer do not have any other flaws. please see picture of handle* Very pretty set for its age.

This delicate sugar bowl is about 5" tall from bottom to top of the decorated lid. It is about 5" wide. But 7" wide if you include both handles. Like new even though it is old, as it was stored for most of it's life. This piece is in a color that is very hard to find. This particular color and pattern went out of production in 1946. It is both shiny luminous and delicate. Made by Johann Haviland in Bavaria Germany.

Antique iridescent creamer and sugar bowl, pale blue and white textured designs
Offered for your consideration is this very unusual porcelain lidded sugar bowl and cream pitcher featuring a pale iridescent blue backround with raised textured white designs. Although unmarked I have seen this pattern listed as Altenburg Saxony Austria Germany which I am not sure is a company or a region or both. The sides of boht pieces have the iridescent pale blue background rand raised white textured figures which appear to be children at play. The four scenes on the four sides are all different. The rims have gold floral designs and there the handles and lid finial are white iridescent lusterware. As I said. Very unusual but also very attractive and compelling. The sugar bowl is 6" wide including the handles. The bowl is 4½" in diameter and it stands about 4¼" tall including the lid. The cream pitcher is 5" ... morewide from tip of spout to handle, 3½" in diameter and is 2¾" in tall. You are bidding on a Silesia sugar bowl and creamer that are in near mint condition. The bowl and creamer show no signs of chipping. Cracking or repair. The hand painting is in immaculate shape as is the rest of the bowl. The sugar bowl is 4" x 3" oval x 2 1/4" tall. The creamer is 5" x 2 3/4" oval counting the handle. It is also 2 1/4" tall. The mark on the rear indicates this bowl was manufactured between 1929 and 1938 at the business of Kuno Steinmann. We are listing this cute antique ceramic sugar bowl(with lid) from the early to mid 1800s. It is hand-painted in a casual country style. And it is unmarked. It displays well- kind of a folk art look- but it does have chips around the edge of the lid, a hairline coming down one side, and a two inch piece of the rim that has been glued back. It is 6 inches tall and a little over 5 inches wide. We can currently only accept bids on this from the United States. The United Kingdom, and Canada. Offered for your consideration is this antique open sugar bowl and cream pitcher set in the colorful transferware Old Mill pattern from Sadler. Staffordshire, England. The pattern features an old mill with a water wheel nestled in the countryside with blue water, blue skies, castle turrets in the distance and heavily flowered bottom edges and handles. Not a hint of gold! The footed sugar bowl is about 6½" wide including the handles, 4½" in diameter at its widest and stands 3¼" tall on a 3-1/8" diameter base. The creamer is 5¼" wide from tip of spout to outside edge of handle, about 4" in diameter at its widest and stands 3¾" tall on a 2½" diameter base. The auction house from which I acquired this described it as an“Early American Sugar Bowl. The painting on it is more naive than most British pink luster one sees. So maybe the description is true. Either way, it’s a lovely thing. Stands about 7 inches tall, 7 3/4 wide and 5 1/2 deep. Unmarked. CONDITION: Bowl has a fair amount of discoloration. As can be seen in the photos. A lesser amount of crazing. No cracks or repairs. There is a small chip on one of the handles that can be seen in Photos 6, 7, 8, and 9. That is the only chip. Still a very lovely piece of ceramics. Unique large Majolica sugar bowl with handles and lid. Textured cream colored background with brown handles and handle on the lid. Green leaves with pink flowers and both sides. Leaves on the top. Likely circa 1870. With drip glaze and hand painting. Likely of English origin. Stands approx. 6 inches tall and approx. 5 inches in diameter at the bottom and narrows to about 3 1/2 inches toward the top. As one would expect with this aged Majolica. This is an Antique. Japanese Style Sugar Bowl With 2 Handles And A Lid. It's from my Grandmothers' Grandmother and I'm told it's from around the 1930's. It is Hand Painted With Geisha Girl Scenes all around the bowl. The Handles are Cobalt Blue and there is other Cobalt Blue on the Lid. Around the top of the bowl where the lid sits inside, and around the bottom of the bowl. This is a RARE. Antique Piece and a VERY RARE Design! The bowl is 4-1/4 inches tall from the bottom to the top of the Cobalt Blue Knob Handle on the Lid. It is a little less than 3 inches tall with out the lid on. This bowl is about 6-1/2 inches wide from the end of one handle across to the end of the other handle. The opening of the sugar bowl is about 3 inches wide. This sugar pot came from an auction in Vermont. The lid is missing. There is crackling in the glaze. Mostly on the bottom. The two handles have chips on the undersides that can be seen from the top a little. There is some chipping on the rim that holds the lid and some discoloration. There is a crack line inside the top of one handle but seems very secure and does not go through to the underside of the handle, see the last picture.

I am offering this gorgeous antique porcelain creamer and sugar bowl made by German manufacturer. KPM. Both pieces are painted in a deep maroon color and have beautifully painted pink flowers. Embedded in a circular setting, on top of some sort of hues of a pearl-based color that gives it a uniqueness that is hard to find. The pearl-based color also adorns the outside of the creamer spout. They both have embroidered gold painted rims. Including the sugar bowl top, which shows off its dynamic quality. This set will surely bring joy to any table set for tea or coffee and crumpets. I first want to explain that in the United States from the Mid 1870s until World War Two the biggest hobby in this country was painting on porcelain. Besides the amateur painters you also had professional painters. Professional porcelain decorating studios and ... moresome American poreclain potteries had their own decorating departments. One crucial piece of knowledege you need to know is that the vast majority of this porcelain artwork done by American porcelain artists was painted on blank white porcelain imported in from other countries, You had French Limoges porcelain, Bavarian porcelain(and Bavaria was its own kingdom from 1806 to 1918) German porcelain, Austrian-Bohemian porcelain and some came from Nippon(which is Japan) and other Far East Asian countries. The reason for this was the United States was still in its infancy when it came to porcelain production and the imported porcelain blanks were much less expensive to buy than our own American porcelain blanks in most cases. Because of this a common mistake is to attribute antique American painted porcelain as to being painted in the country on the backstamp. There was a law institued in 1891 by the United States requiring all goods imported into the U.S.A. to have the country of origin on it somewhere. Therefore we have an abundance of antique hand painted porcelain by Americans on blanks marked from another country. It can be hard at times to distinguish American Painted Porcelain

Antique 6-Sided Creamer & Sugar Bowl in the German Style
These are beautiful Antique German-Style Hexagonal(6-sided) Porcelain Creamer& Sug ar Bowls. Decorated with what look like Carnations. These measure approximately 4" tall and 4" in diameter at the bottom for the Sugar Bowl and 3-1/4" in diameter at the bottom for the Creamer. Both items are so well made that the design features and pattern matches up perfectly from the teapot to the lid. The Creamer is marked"iLih" and the Sugar Bowl seems unmarked. The top and bottom edges have a slight scalloped design and the handles are unique and quite stylish. Fantastic items for an afternoon tea with friends or for use during the Holiday Season. The sugar bowl appears in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It is about 6 1/2 inches across and 4 1/2 high to the top of the lid. Antique Myott vine and leaf design copper luster sugar bowl and creamer
Offered for your consideration is this beautiful antique Myott"Old Lustre Ware" copper luster vines. Leaves and trim on cream porcelain. The design is both simple and extravagant with the rims, footings and handle encrusted in the copper luster in addition to the vine and leaf design. The open sugar bowl is 3" in diameter at the rim, 1½" in diameter at the base and is a little over 2" tall. The cream pitcher is 4" wide from spout tip to handle edge, 2¾" in diameter at the widest part of the bowl, 1¾" in diameter at the base and is 3¼" tall. The pieces have different Myott marks(both seen in photos) but have the same number 874. There is a small chip to the copper luster on the underside of the creamer spout, a small tight hairline near the top rim of the creamer(hard to see ... morebut zoom in on the upper right part of the creamer in photo# 1) and overall light crazing on both pieces. Antique Blue and White Transferware Sugar Bowl with Lid J. Ridgway mid 1840s
This is a lovely blue and white transferware sugar bowl in excellent condition. There is a mark on the bottom. And I believe it says J. Ridgway. There are numbers as well, but I'm not sure if they're a registration number, or the year(1839) In any event, this piece was most likely made in the mid 1840s. There is a small bit of age-related staining on the bottom. There is some age-related crazing. The top of the lid has one little spot. There is some roughness on the edges of the lid and the bottom of the base. On one corner above one handle. There appears to be a patch that missed the glaze, or perhaps it's an excellent repair(see photo) There is a bit of roughness on the edges of the handles. This piece stands approx. 5 3/4 inches high. With lid, and is approx 7 1/4 inches wide, handle to handle.
