Antique Pink Luster Sugar Bowl Sunderland Pink Early 1800's Grape Design No Lid
This is a great piece of antique pink lusterware. It is a large footed sugar bowl and dates to the early 1800's. It no longer has it's lid. But makes a beautiful home for an African violet. The design is a grape vine. This sugar is in very nice condition for it's age and the material. There is an old but tight split in the rim where it shrank during firing. This speaks of the age of the piece and is not true damage. The bottom has a mark made by the painter, but there are no other maker's marks. It stands 4 1/2" high and is 4 1/2" wide by 7 1/8" long. ANTIQUE OPEN SUGAR BOWL ROSE TRANSFER DESIGN This auction is for a very old sugar bowl with no lid(open) I found a lid that matches this sugar bowl in style and color but DOES NOT fit exactly. But I will include it in case you would like to display it as shown. It is white glazed china looking with what appears to be a rose transfer although it could be painted The sugar bowl measures 3 1/2 inches tall. The top and base are a scallop design. It looks like at one time there was a gold design along the top and is now worn off The handles are ornate. It has a crack down the left side of the sugar bowl, near the handle The sugar bowl measures 5 1/2" from handle to handle The opening measures 3 1/2" in diameter There are several chips along the top and the bottom It measures about 4 1/2" at the base being slightly bell shaped There ... moreis a brown spot on the inside and one on the lip There is no makers mark on the bottom I am not a glass expert. But this belonged to my great-grandmother Sarah. She was born in 1873. Married in1891 and had 11 children between 1892-1915. At the time of her death there were 19 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren! This sugar bowl is well worn and probably was well loved back in its day Lots of imperfections. Beautiful 19th century(c. 1880) sugar bowl with handles in the pattern"AMOY. English Staffordshire blue and white design. Eight sided, good condition without the lid. The hallmark on the bottom is"W.R. which is W. Ridgway- 1830-1840. The lid is available. it does not have a finial(see photos) and has a little old chip on one of the corners. The bowl. Being in good condition, does not have any chips, does not have any cracks, and does not have any repairs. It has a tiny old crow's feet on the underside of the edge, some light staining mostly on the interior and a few rub marks(see photo) Nothing serious. typical wear from age and use. it's about 185 years old. A handsome old treasure for display or to keep something creative in it. like your cutlery. You can't go wrong with early Staffordshire. It's my favorite!

This is a great piece of antique English Mulberry transferware ironstone. It is in the"Tavoy" pattern. Which was registered by T Walker c. 1850. T Walker potted from 1845-1851. This sugar bowl is missing its lid. I used it for pencils in my kitchen to complement my mulberry dishes. It is in very nice condition. With only a chip on the underside of one of the handles and a rough spot on the same handle. No other chips or cracks. It is nice and glossy. There are the usual stilt marks on the base(from stacking in the kiln) The second handle has a potting flaw- part of the end is missing- this is completely glazed over. Bowl is in great condition with no damage, there is a small indentationon on bottom inside edge of lid that appears to be an imperfection when it was made since it is smooth and shiney porcelain and not dull like I believe it would look if it were a chip.

Antique Sugar Bowl Delinieres Limoges hand painted by White’s Art Co pre 1923 This unique and exquisite antique sugar bowl was handed down to me from my grandmother. It’s probably part of tea set but I have not found any other pieces like this to confirm that. It’s in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and only natural paint wear on the handles and at the top rim where the lid sets. What seems to be a paint blemish on the right side of the rim(see picture#6) appears to be White’s Art Co triangular stamp. It measures almost 3 inches tall. 5 inches wide from handle to handle, it has a 3 inch circumference top and a 3.5 inch circumference bottom. The porcelain blank was made by The Delinieres& Co from Limoges. France and the D&Co mark dates its manufacturing between 1894 and 1900. The intricate Gold painted roses in art deco ... morestyle were done by White’s Art Co of Chicago. The White's Studio of Chicago operated as a decorating Studio from 1914-1923 in downtown Chicago. During this era they produced hand painted wares that matched the great studios of the day including Pickard. Brauer, Donath, Osborne, and Stouffer. A number of their artists also decorated at the Pickard Studio, as well as other less known decorating studios. In fact, this piece looks very much like a Pickard piece but the famous red triangle mark of White’s Art Co proves otherwise. See Reed's Pickard Collectors Book for more information on this fine period studio(P.301-304) This beautiful piece glistens just like gold nuggets do in the sunshine though I have no proof that the paint actually contains pure gold. Ebay Listing Page Antique Amish Snowflake Spongeware Stick Spatter Flow Blue Sugar Bowl Item Description: Up for auction is a beautiful antique spongeware or stick spatter decorated sugar bowl made in England during the late 1800s. The sugar bowl is made of earthenware and it is hand-painted in the Amish Snowflake pattern which consists of a deep cobalt flow blue color with snowflakes and a herringbone style border. The bottom of the sugar bowl is not marked. But this pattern can be seen in Kelly& Kowalsky's Spongeware book on pg. 209. Overall the sugar bowl stands about 6 7/8" tall. Item Condition: The overall condition of the sugar bowl is excellent. It is very clean and there are no chips. Cracks, or repaired areas exceot for a small flake to the rim of the base, a small 1/4" chip to the rim of the lid, and a small flake ... moreto the tip of the finial. The color is extremely nice with no staining. The glaze displays fine consistent crazing throughout and there is minor glaze rubbing to the rim. Antique Silver Incredibly decorated Covered Sugar Bowl
You are looking at a silver covered sugar jar. It's amazingly decorated and very hard to attribute to a maker because the marks are almost microscopic. Please take a look at the microscope photos to see the marks that I could find any help attributing this piece would be much appreciated. I believe it's French only because they often use incredibly small hallmarks. The piece weighs a total of 89 grams and is 3" tall and 3" wide including the handle. It doesn't stand up straight because one of the legs are dented but I'm sure it can be fixed. Also it doesn't stand up at all with the lid open. Still it's a beautiful piece. The large sugar bowl with the lid on is approximately 6-7/8" high& from the end of one handle to the end of the other is about 6-1/4" The creamer is about 5-1/4" high at the end of the spout and from the end of the spout to the top of the handle is about 5-1/4" across. The underside of the creamer has an 8 sided green hallmark with what looks like a B 3 M and the underside of the large sugar bowl also has an 8 sided green hallmark with what I think is a B N M. This set is not perfect but it makes a great appearance and it's ready to use! The thin gold accent lines are mostly worn off and I have tried to take many close-up images to show this. The inside rim of the ... moresugar bowl has roughage& I have tried to take close-ups of that. Also. The tip of the spout on the creamer has a small nick/chip& there are closeups of that also. Antique Torquay Longpark Ware Sugar Bowl Incised Writing 19th Century
This is a clay pottery sugar bowl made in Torquay. England during the latter part of the 19th century. It is marked Torquay Longpark on the underside. There is incised writing(not common) on the bowl near the top. I t says. elp yer zel tu sugar. This translates to, help yourself to sugar. The bowl has a 3-3/4 inch maximum diameter and a 2-3/4 inch top diameter. It stands 2-1/4 inches high. The bowl is in good condition; no chips cracks or scratches. I t has medium crazing due to age. The colors are still vibrant. This is a hard-to-find piece of Torquay ware.
