LA CASTILLERE ANTIQUE Perfume Bottle Hand Enameled Painted Filigree France
This is a beautiful little perfume bottle! It stands 2 3/4 inches tall with the top on. It is about 3/8 inches wide. 1/2" deep. The Florentine filigree cap(included in height measurement) is 3/4" tall. The top screws on, and has a glass dauber attached to it. This gem is in perfect undamaged condition! The glass is thick& substantial. The front& the back of the bottle is hand enameled with royal blue flowers& green foliage. The bottom of the bottle says it was"Made in France" LA CASTILLERE. There is another mark on the base that I cannot quite tell what it is. But it appears to be an upside down T with a P directly on top of the T. Or vice versa. Floral"intaglio" square sides- separated with clear triangles with thumbprint centers- outlined with finecut bars. The starburst bottom is etched with the English Registry Mark: Rd. 168686- dating the glass design to the year 1891- maker unknown. The maker of the sterling silver lid is no mystery. for your consideration is this lovely antique victorian perfume. Scent bottle. it is made of cut glass with a sterling silver repousse lid. i don't know the pattern of the glass except for the top part which is like a zipper. the only flaw i see is a very small chip on the outside cut glass part of the bottle. also, a very small dent in the lid. the lid is marked sterling with another mark that i do not know the origin. it could possibly be english. measurement of the bottle is 5 1/2 inches to the top of the lid. thanks for viewing.

Shiny still. But also has a nice patina from age. Can be polished but I think it's nice as is. Up to you. There are no visible scratches or defects. The glass is in perfect pre-owned condition. No chips. Cracks or scratches. The dauber is in one piece without any visible damage or marks. I thought the flower looked like a dogwood flower. But I have read that it's a shamrock. This is an elegant antique Sterling Silver Overlay Perfume Bottle(1905 est. In my opinion it was made in America or England. It has number"35" etched on the bottom of the bottle and stopper. Meaning the stopper and bottle are a perfect match. Importantly, the delicate construction process of mating silver to glass resulted in no glass cracks. The stopper matches the scroll design, and the bottle has a thin, delicate, fancy script monogram of the word"Alice. Sterling" is clearly seen at the bottom rim. The glass and stopper are in mint condition. This piece likely held very expensive perfume. It is beautiful. Highly-desirable, functional art. This was purchased from a high end Auction where I even purchased a tiffany lamp and Vase what I can gather information on a Google Search. Here at auction is a very nice old victorian style perfume bottle. no chips or cracks 6 3/4" tall and the bottom is 1 1/2" diameter but it does get wider approx. 2" in the middle. The glass is a very thick heavy faceted to taper at the bottom sides. The facets appear to have little or no wear signs. very nice. The glass rod is very good also. Antique Victorian Double Ended Amber Glass Perfume Bottles
This bottle is 5" long. One bottle side has a greater capacity then the other. This can be seen through a facet cut glass body. It has brass ends one end closes with a click and the other does not click close. It is old and was well used. The stoppers are missing, one end is open and other the stopper is broken in the hole. There are three slight chips in the facets. I have photographed it so the largest one is noticeable otherwise they are not obvious. There are some small dents in the brass tops. In good condition this type of bottle sells for $300.00 plus. This is a nice old bottle but I am disclosing all flaws.

Two Antique Yellow Diamond Sawtooth Glass Cologne Perfume Bottles
Two unbelievable cologne bottles with diamond cut bases. The diamond cut is very unusual as at the tip of each cut is a flower. I have never seen anything like these before. They are unmarked and I could not locate any information on them. But they are exquisite. One is 7 inches in height and one is 6.5 inches in height. They are both in excellent condition. And are free of chips or cracks. The stoppers on both are in very good condition but a few flea bites on the base of them. Please see photos. It is marked on the bottom of the bottle O.E.G. This mark was used by Oscar and Edgar Gutherz of Altrolau. Bohemia(now Stara Role, Czech Republic) from 1899 to 1918. Oscar Gutherz and Maximilian Marx had started a porcelain decorating business in Altrolau in 1884 with financial backing from Lazarus Straus& Sons, an American importer. Later the company began making porcelain. In 1898 Oscar's brother, Edgar Gutherz, bought out Marx and joined Oscar in the business, which became known as the Oscar& Edgar Gutherz(O. E.G. I do not have the bottle but the box is in excellent condition, a little faded out on top but you can see the graphics are still clear with a pretty Geisha Girl and blossoming tree on the front. No tears or detracting rubs, the box is solid. The top reads"Vantine's Wistaria Blossom" the end reads"A.A. Vantine& Co. Yokohamh New York It measures approximately 5 1/4" by 2 1/4 w by 1 3/4" h. Here we have an antique 8oz Lander glass perfume bottle in Sweet Pea. It has a paper label that reads. Sweet Pea, Toilet Water, Lander, Fifth Avenue, New York" and measures approximately 6-1/2" tall and has a base of 2-3/4" wide. This bottle is not common, as we were not able to find much on the internet. However, we were able to find that Lander was established in 1920 by entrepreneur Charles Oestrich, who wanted to make beauty products affordable to women everywhere. At this time, the company specialized in perfumes and cosmetics and by the 1930's, Lander was a household brand that you could find at any local"5& 10" dime stores across the country. It was during this time that these glass perfume bottles were most often found. This beautiful Lander bottle still has its original paper label and glass stopper. ... moreAfter all of these years. The bottle still holds the scent it used to hold! The label shows its age, and the stopper has a small chip, as pictured. The cork seems to have degraded and stuck in the neck of the bottle, and there are bits of cork debris inside the bottle as well. A fabulous and wonderful quality late Victorian perfume Tantalus. Created in Victorian times to keep those expensive scents and colognes safe from the household staff. Of course they mimic the full sized Tantalus created to keep liquor safe in in the same way. Made from solid English Oak, the mounts and fittings are all in silver plate. The caddy comes with the original Bramah lock and key, a top-notch lock used only on the best examples. The key is sprung so a gentle push and turn required, it is then that the front bar can be lowered to retrieve the three original cut crystal perfume bottles. The cylindrical bottles are deeply cut in the ever-popular hobnail design and a fine star-cut base. All are in fabulous condition. Dating to around 1890, this gem remains in superb condition. Beautiful Antique Victorian Perfume Scent Bottle Tantalus Dresser Casket Box
Before the times of fast cars and planes Was the Victorian Era of Carriages and Trains Up for auction is this dainty Victorian perfume tantalus fit for a queen. A traveling perfume tantalus for those long and hard trips back then. Felt liner over wood. Beveled crystal see through windows on both sides, and amazing brass cartouches on all four corners. In the center of each brass cartouche is a portrait of Queen Victoria herself. The clasp on top unlocks the case to reveal the inner compartment. There are three holes around the velvet inner liner to hold three perfume or scent bottles. I still have the three original bottles. These bottles have no damage nor does the cut glass stoppers have any damages. The bottles came from B.D Baldwin& Co. from Chicago IL in the 2nd half of the 1800's. There is Plum Blossom, Queen Bess, and Violets. ... moreAll bottles have the original labels. The Tantalus measures 6 1/2" long, 3 1/2" wide, and 5" tall. The outside cloth liner shows its age. There are a couple small areas missing the liner. The liner on the one side has a small tear near the bottom. The inside velvet is frayed and worn. The beveled glass is perfect though, along with the metalwork corners and clasps. The tantalus has a wire handle that is braided. This piece is quite the find. Beautiful and unique decorative perfume bottle made of milk glass with gold accents! Both sides feature Cupid painted in gold with bows and arrows. And winged hearts. The bottle is flared and scalloped at the sides, and accented with more gold striping. The nozzle is a little loose and wobbly, but can be used if so desired. Up for auction is a very rare fox antique hand blown glass perfume bottle. In my research I have not been able to find another one like it. Please see pictures closely. It is missing the cork but for it's age is has survived quite well. It is a small bottle. Approx. 4" in length. I do not know the exact age. I believe the 1920's or 30's. I think it is European. I am not an expert. Also a dog top hat perfume bottle. American U.S. I do not know what company this came from. I am not sure what the gold color paint is on the fox. Antique Vintage Art Glass Perfume Bottle Pink Blue
For sale is another of my collection of antique perfume bottles. I purchased this at an antique shop some years ago and just love the baby pink and blue inside the clear glass. This bottle is quite heavy- much like a paperweight. It measures about 4 inches wide and 5 inches tall with the stopper. Please look carefully at the last photo. There is one crack in the base(left of center) and one in the stopper(right side) I purchased the bottle in this condition as I felt the cracks were almost impossible to see. This looks as though it has never been used. The shell is a nice ivory color but has tints of pink and green. Beautiful Antique Silver Overlay Perfume Decanter. c. 1895-1915 5 inches tall x 5 inches diameter. No engraved initials. Unmarked. Some number marking on glass stopper. Condition is very good with small chip on rim of glass stopper. Although there is not silver mark the overlay process demanded silver purity higher than the 925 sterling. All in good/excellent condition. See photos for stopper chip. Some superficial surface wear on silver. But basically clean. Inside of glass could use a good scrub. No dents or losses. Antique green bubble glass perfume bottle/ atomizer
This listing is for a perfume bottle/ atomizer probably from the early 1900's. I purchased this at an estate sale over 20 years ago and the atomizer bulb was dry and brittle. It got packed up 7 years later and only uncovered a week ago. Unfortunately. The atomizer bulb had literally disintegrated. The glass however is unique with lots of bubbles and the stem that carries the perfume to the sprayer is metal, as is the top, but I'm not sure what the metal is, but proves its age. Heavy perfume bottle weighs 1 lb. 5 oz. The photos are a very important part of the description. I really don’t know the age of the perfume bottle. But I guess that it is very old. Antique Pair French White Opaline & Bronze Perfume Bottles Scenes On Caps
Antique pair of white opaline perfume bottles with filigree ormolu overlay and mounting. They stand 4 3/4" tall. And the base is 2 1/2" across. They have scenes on the tops under glass of french buildings. One has some lilac color bleeding from under the glass. There is also one tiny nick to the edge of the glass. No cracks to either. One has a glass stopper that I can not remove. The other perfume is missing its stopper. The attached hinged tops close but are off balance(uneven) There is filigree around the neck, body, and base. One has a tiny raised bubble that is smooth to the touch and has no crack. It might have been done in the making. I would date them to around the 1860's. They are beautifully decorated in spite of their flaws. Thanks for viewing.

A little history search explains that the line. Le Trefle Incarnat, dates to late 1800's early 1900s. The term in French refers to a particular variety of clover. It states this was the first perfume line to contain artificial essential oils. By Pierre Armingeat. Jacques Rauche and George's Darzens, creators. I imagine it's a rather rare find to have an antique perfume bottle of this nature intact with the label and contents.
