Illuminated manuscript, Roman Catholic Music written in Latin with page number
15 inches by 19.5 inches red and black on what we belive to be Vellum Manuscript Musical Score. Condition is acceptable, there are wrinkles in the paper, a few instances of ink rubbing off, a few small holes and a torn corner lower right hand. Printed front and back. The back side is in better condition, probably due to being covered and not exposed to light. On the back side bedised red and black there is some gold printing used to highlight the musical notes and text. It is undated but based on internet research, may be as old as 15th to 17th century. It is framed in an inexpensive wood frame with glass, that it has been in it for years.

Your harpsichord player would have been required to"figure" his own embellishments. Twenty pages of hand-written manuscript music.
