It is written in a Dead Latin Langauge but at one time I had it partly translated but I forgot what it said. I know not very bright on my part. But I do remember that it is a plainsong about the apostle James. It is hand done on vellum. It is 2 sided the front is the begining of the song and the back is the end. It is framed in heavy glass on both sides there are 2 screws with just and old cord hooked on it to hang it from but it works. Pages are about 24 by 17. Because of the weight and size of this shipping will be around $30 to $40 depending on where you live.

RARE 1846 Illuminated Bible From Trinity Church New York City, Harper & Brothers
This is a extremely rare piece of religious history! What you are looking at is a Illuminated Bible from 1846 printed by the Harper& Brothers Publishers out of new york. A very rare publisher alone. But not only is this a rare and fine quality example of a antique bible, it is from the Trinity Church in New York City. The bible contains the new and old testaments. The front cover of this book features a beautiful depiction of the church, and on the back cover is the alter of the church! Giving this book amazing historical provenance. The book itself is in good condition for it's age, with all pages intact and still strongly fastened to the binding. I did not find any written on pages in the book, and no ripped, torn, or folded ones either. There are only a couple towards the beginning of the book that have a small amount of stains ... moreon them. The only major flaw on this entire book is the front cover has broken off, very cleanly, but is it broken off. After speaking with a book expert, this could be around a $300 repair to reattach the front cover, and repair the back cover to be sure it doesn't fall off either. other than that the book is in what I would call amazing condition for being as old as it is. All pages are still crisp and clean for the most part. The last one of these books to go up for sale was in 2011, and it sold for a price of $1,500! But due to the damage to the cover, I am offering it at a reduced price. If this book does not sell for this price, I am going to have it restored myself, and re list at the last recorded sale price. This scroll contains the Book of Ruth and the accompanying illustrations made by an Israeli artist, Tali Antman of Blessed memory. The scroll, printed on fine, acid free paper, was printed in a limited run, as it was printed for a Bat Mitzva for a girl in Efrat, Israel. Really nice drawings which are better looking in real life than in these scans. Scroll measures 35 inches(88cm) in length x 14 inches(35cm) in height. No stains. Condition: Used. TRULY LOVELY! THIS LEAF HAS PSALMS 90-91(partial) WITH THE POPULAR PSALM 91:1-2! The majority of these leaves were likely destroyed during the reign of King Henry the 8th due to his opposition. Edna and Drusilla” IM-1483: A lovely original leaf from a medieval manuscript folio Bible with illuminations from the Johannes Grusch Workshop. The Bible was formerly owned by the Abbey of Sainte-Genevieve in Paris. Latin gothic script. Hand-written in brown ink, on animal vellum. Rubricated chapter numbers, initials and marginalia in red and blue. 50 lines of text in double columns. ONE EXCEPTIONAL SIX-LINE ILLUMINATED INITIAL in blue. Pink, orange and burnished gold; FOUR TWO-LINE ILLUMINATED INITIALS alternating in red with delicate blue penwork and blue with delicate red penwork- extending into the margins.
