PRICE DROPPED! We have 4 beautiful antique maps and 2 vellum letters for sale each one has two photo's up except the hand written 1598 vellum letters which have 4 pics. Please look carefully these are VERY OLD they are not in perfect condition because they are 200-400 + years old. 1st one is a Morell-Fecerunt Map of Alsatia Milliaria Germania it is a stunning map with amazing craftsmanship in the engraving and there isn't another for sale anywhere. 2nd we have a 1690 Coronelli map of Germania it is a beautiful map and speaks volumes to the craftsman's abilities this is a hard to find map. 3rd we have a 1695 Rob Morden map of England this one jumps right out at you with it's simple but amazing engravings as with the others this is a rare map and hard to find. The 4th map says Ric Blome Map of West Moreland. Ric Blome honorably ... morededicated this map to Sir John Lowther of Lowther Hall. After some searching I found some info on him. Sir John Lowther was a captain and commander during the Scottish border wars and was also the High Sheriff 1516,1543,1551 additionally he was the commander of Carlisle Castle and he lived from 1487-1551 this is a rare find. Last but not least we have 2 1598 handwritten vellum letters there aren't words to describe these extremely old hand written letters they are readable and clear one is dated the other is not. The ink is in great condition and there is no bleeding through simply a must see. Again I will say these are all very very old every one of these pieces have some damage to the outer edges as expected for their age. There are discolorations as well as small spots and original creasing. These are sold as-is no returns because of the delicate nature of these 200-400 year old vellum and early paper maps. Primitive Antique Hand Made Weather Vane Folk Art Arrow and Direction Letters
Early Primitive Antique Weather Vane Originally found in Maine. This is a nice early hand made Weather Vane. On the top is a cut out arrow in a great folk art primitive shape. On the top of the arrow pole is a large brass finial. The finial has a small dent on the top and has some tarnish that I have not polished. The arrow pole fits inside another iron pipe that has the direction letters attached. The letters are large, about 4" by 4" and have a nice cut out look. I think the letters and arrow are made from a heavy tin and the poles are made of iron. On the bottom of the second pole there is a wider piece attached with a hole in the bottom. The hole which is where it would attach to a larger pole is about 3/8" across. As you can see in the pictures this is in two pieces with the arrow section fitting into the arrow section. ... moreWith both pieces together it measures 17.5" tall. The arrow is almost 17" long and the letters extend 9. 5" from the center pole. So it measures 17.75" across. Nice Early Antique Folk Art Weather Vane. Great Primitive Piece to use inside or out. Vintage Antique Father Mug Cup w Gold Letters And Trim
This is a gorgeous yellow porcelain FATHER cup or mug. It is very large measuring 3 1/2" tall and 4 1/8" across the top. This antique vintage collectible mug has father written in gold and is so shiny that is is hard to capture a good picture. I beleive it is made in germany. It has no markings. The only thing wrong is on the letter F a little of the gold has gotten scratched off from something rubbing against it. Most Beautiful!

Antique burner for melting wax to seal letters
This small. Silver toned spirit lamp stands about 2 inches tall and is about 2.5 inches across the bottom. It has no hallmarks or any other identifying marks. It appears to be silver plated with a gracefully curved handled. It is believed to be used to melt wax to seal letters. It is in good condition with some wear on the bottom and the top no longer screws securely to the bottom. It is old and has seen some use.

Vintage Antique Stamped Letters 1905-1908 Mississippi Tennessee Louisiana Purchased this lot at an estate sale. I have not read all of these letters. Just opened to make sure there were letters inside. A couple of envelopes are empty but there are several letters without envelops. All hand written. Letters date 1905 thru 1908. Age appropriate wear to envelopes and letters. Wear to them. Most of these envelopes have stamps. 2 cent stamps. Some envelopes may have missing stamp. Over the course of three years. Letters are to/from Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana. All from one man to his girl friend- then turned wife. The man's name is T.D. Welch, M.D. from Mississippi to Miss Nora Perry Estes. Item: Old outdoor sign from the Central Illinois Light Company CILCO Wallace power station in Peoria Illinois. The sign was installed in the 1950's and originally spelled out Central Illinois Light Company. When the power plant was demolished in the 1990's. We bought the letters and rearranged them and reconfigured a couple to spell the name of our business. Illinois Antique Center in Downtown Peoria Illinois. They were originally lit with fluorescent bulbs but when we installed them we did not light them. You can easily ... moresee them from many blocks away. The pictures taken were from a block away. We also bought one of the world's largest Redd y-Kilowatt figures. That was also on the power plant. His head alone is over 11' tall and we think he was be tween 50 and 65' tall. We were only able to keep his head and a couple hands/feet intact as the rest of his body did not survive the removal. Reddy Kilowatt. At this time, is not for sale(unless you make a totally ridiculous offer that we cannot refuse) If you look in the blurry picture at the end you can see the letters and Reddy on the left side of the building. Condition: These letters are each about 6' tall and are made of thin alumin um sides and plastic fronts. I am guessing they are about 3-5' wide. They are mounted to the building as shown with a few anchors in each letter. The letters are still mounted on the side of our building. Waterfront Place, and will need to be removed by a n insured bonded sign company. Hardin Sign Company in Peoria took it down from the power plant and put it back up for us. The letters don't weigh a whole lot. Probably@25# each, but they are on the 4th floor. Access is available weather permit

Antique Adam Haas Brewing Co Houghton MI Brown Amber Glass Bottle with Embossed Letters. I googled the Haas Brewing Company. It was founded in 1859 by Adam Haas. In 1880. The Haas brewery began bottling their beer in hand blown glass bottles originally manufactured by the DeSteiger Glass Company of LaSalle, Illinois. The Haas brewery bottled their beer in mostly amber colored 1/4 gallon glass bottles from as many as eight different manufacturers until 1905 when they switched to a clear(aqua) glass bottle using a cork cap closure. Antique Vintage Brass Interlocking Stencil Sets Wooden Box letters and numbers
Selling for Habitat for Humanity Restore in Hardin County Kentucky Brass Stencils in Wooden Box You get all the stencils shown in the pictures plus some spacers and punctuation marks. The stencils in the first three pictures are 1" stencils and the larger set of numbers are 3" The box is 10" x 7" x 2" with dove tail corners and a sliding top. It looks like a military issue with the federal specifications number and also a date stamped on the end of Oct 1956. It most likely came from Fort Knox Army installation as it was part of a donation of other drafting/engineering supplies that were in a large ugly olive drab green file cabinet that weighed a ton. A charming and highly decorative Victorian Letters rack or holder created from decorative mesh brass woven in a basket design. The front is mounted by a cast brass"Letters" plaque with the vague detection of the original red enamel lettering showing. This antique child's alphabet plate is heavy and has some age crazing and age yellowing on the back. The gold edge on rim edge and inner ring of gold show wear as does the letters in gold. The kitty has utensil scratches and some spots of color voids. Under the glaze on back in green: HOTEL. This little charmer is in antique well used condition. It measures 7" across. I have for auction this vintage art deco exit sign. It is made of white glass with red lettering. The exit letters are in very nice condition. With almost no red missing. there is no major scratches. There is no cracks. There is no repairs. There is no chips in the glass. The glass rim is not chipped either. There is some minor roughness; but no chips. The light socket is intact. The outside end of the light socket is threaded and is ready to screw on to a 3/4' diameter threaded electrical pipe(conduit) The dimension of the glass sign; the glass is 7' tall it is 6 1/4' wide at the back end.
