It measures just shy of 12.5" tall and the ... moretop is about 7.25" across. Not a hairline to be found anywhere, only some rim chips- the largest measuring just over half an inch in length, just right of center on the top rim. Two more which are very tiny- both toward the back on the inner rim, less than a quarter inch each. There is wear to the blue decoration, but the stenciling is plenty legible. There is also some yellowish staining on either side of the crock. Other minor imperfections such as tiny dings and glaze skips, of which we are unsure whether they occurred in manufacturing. Displays very well and structurally sound. Please view the images for condition details. As they are part of the description and they are of the actual item you will receive. $31.27 Shipping Location: Pittsburgh, United States Late 1800's salt glazed stoneware crock with cobalt decoration. This crock features 4 squiggly horizontal stripes. This crock stands approximately ... more10" in height. Is 6" in diameter at the base, and 6.25" in diameter at the rim. It came out of a north-central West Virginia estate(about 5-min from the PA boarder) so it could be easily be either a SW PA or WV piece. This crock is essentially as-made. But does have a few noteworthy firing defects. Most notably, there is a 3" glaze crack running from the edge if the base up into the lower left side of the decoration when viewed head-on. The crack does not go into the inside, and no evidence of moisture was present after leaving it full of water overnight. There is a 5mm glaze pop to the left side of the decoration, but I believe this to be a firing defect due to the presence of glaze around the edges of the defect. On the inside there is a surface line extending from the rim, but it does not go through to the front of the crock. You may notice what looks like cracks on the underside in the photo of the base. This is neither cracking nor crazing. It is a fluctuation in the natural color. Overall a great piece, and I'll be sad to see it go! This crock ships double boxed and insured via USPS or your preferred shipper. If you wish to change shipping preferences. Please contact me prior to purchase. Local pickup is always welcome. Pennsylvania Railroad Company cancelled stock certificate for 100 shares issued in the 1950's with the old style vignette of the State of Pennsylvania Seal. This is an original issued certificate. Not a copy or reproduction. The certificate is great for framing. The certificate is in excellent condition(no folds or tears) Each certificate has the normal punch cancellation and staple holes. Offered is a delegate badge for the 1949 Pennsylvania Firemen Convention that was held in Octover 1940. The top has the name of the delegate and a green ribbon has info on the convention. The words are somewhat faded but still readable. A medal with a scalloped edge hangs at the bottom. The front has"VOLUNTEER GREENSBURG. PA FIRE DEPARTMENT" with a building and fire truck. Vintage Felt Pennant Observation Tower Bowman's Hill, Pennsylvania 11 1/2" long
This listing is for a vintage felt pennant of the Observation Tower at Bowman's Hill. Pennsylvania. There isn't any markings to indicate a maker. The pennant measures 11 1/2" long, 4 1/2" tall, and the tie strings are 3" long. The picture and letters are screen printed. There are creases on the pennant, but there are no pin holes, moth holes, or tears from what I can see. Some of the white felt is starting to come away from the navy blue felt(at the top of the pennant) This pennant has been used and is in fair-good condition! Domestic shipping will be $4.00. Pennsylvania State Senator William Duffield served in Harrisburg from 1971-1978. He then served six months in the pokey for mail fraud. Made of cast iron, this paperweight was likely made in the Pittsburgh/Uniontown area. Measuring 3.75" tall and 4.25" wide, it is a bit of a rough casting. There is a foundry flaw or small nick to the corner by the"S" A truly unique item with a bit of scandalous history, this political paperweight is offered here without reserve.

This pre-WWII collectible has a red ribbon which reads: 61st Annual Convention State Firemen's Association of Pennsylvania Lewistown Oct. 1-4 1940. The medal itself is 1 3/8" in diameter and features various scenes of Lewistown as well as a fireman's helmet. Fire axe, ladder and hose in the center. US Civil war veterans sword Pennsylvania, Keystone Commander
This is a neat old sword that I remember my father acquiring about twenty years ago from the Manions auction house. I remember that listing identifying this swoard as belonging to a Civil War vet. Although the identity of the vet remains unknown. The sword has scorll work on the scabbard and states"Keystone Commander" under the top of the scabbard. The motif of the Keystone state is seen several places, including the pommel which is shaped in the style of a Keystone as well as the drag which is repeated again. The blade was inscribed and etched although much is now difficult to see. There is moderate pitting along much of the blade. It may have once been identified by name, but I cannot detect the name now. The handle is beautiful and done in bone, with nice grain and lines. There is a narrow crack to the reverse, but the handle ... moreis very stable and doesnt appear to be in jeopardy of further damage. There is a CW style Union shield mounted in the center of the handle. Blade is full length with no sharpening, etc. US sales only on this one. Neat looking old sword that hung on my wall for a long time. My collecting interests have taken a turn so it is time to part ways. Check out my other items for more nice militaria for sale currently. This is the"Official Program. Pennsylvania Sesquicentennial Celebration of the Sullivan-Clinton-Brodhead Expeditions Against the Iroquois Indians, 1779-1929, with a Map of the Routes of the Armies. It was published by the Pennsylvania Historical Commission at Harrisburg. It commemorates the placing of tablets"on cut Vermont granite boulders at every camp site of the Sullivan march through Pennsylvania" and the celebrations surrounding their placement. The piece unfolds to reveal a map of the routes of the armies on the back. It is in excellent clean and crisp condition with no bends, tears, creases or stains. The unfolded map is 22" by 17"

These come from the estate of David Stoddard, a 33 rd Degree Mason and Past Master. From Bangor, Pennsylvania. Leather portfolio carrying case measures 19" long x 9-1/2" tall x 3" wide or 48.3, 24.1, 7.63cm. There are 13 Masonic Pamphlets– see photos– that explain various aspects of Freemasonry.
