Set of 2 Vintage Frosted Satin Glass Light Shades Globes w/Hand Painted Roses
A beautiful pair of lamp globes/shades. They stand 4" tall and measure 3" across the bottom from side to side. They have roses in three locations around each glass shade which is a frosted/satin style. I believe these are old as the glass has bubbles in it and there are even minute differences in the glass shade design so don't know if they were individually made. The one with bubbles has a little larger flare at bottom and the rose painting seems a tad smaller than the other one; the design at bottom edge is also a little different with deeper ridges on one than the other. In nice shape with no cracks. Did feel a flea bite and rough edge around the raised rim above the scalloped edge, but no one will know but you. Also there is some paint wear on the roses, but minor. This lamp is over 100 years old! It is a pair point lamp that stands 12" tall and is absolutely gorgeous! The original brass base is intact as is the wiring. In fact. The wiring is in perfect shape. There is also a dimmer switch on the wiring that allows you to dim the light. The shade is in perfect shape and depicts a woodland scene. There is a little bit of roughness around the bottom of the lamp shade where it sits on the base. Small chips or fleaks. Nothing that is seen or noticeable when the shade is on the lamp. Don't let this lamp get away from you!

Purchased this lamp about 10 years ago at the estate sale of an elderly lady. I have had it in my home and used it since that time in the guest bedroo. I am now moving and can not use it anymore. It has been well taken care of and has no chips or cracks that I know of. It is a 3 way lamp. Such a great looking lamp. You can always seem to get just the right amount of light out of it with the option of running either 1 bulb or 2 bulbs. I purchased this set several years ago In an antique store. I have look over every surface and I can not locate any writing on it. Vintage Victorian Style Cranberry Marbled Porcelain Urn Hand Painted Table Lamp This is a very nice example of 1950s. 60s French Renaissance style furnishings. An urn style cranberry marbled porcelain lamp featuring a vignette of a beautiful flower scene. The lamp itself is in good condition; no cracks chips or crazing. One scrap on paint see pic. The gold dotted trim around the vignette is a nice accent as well and has some ware. The base has an area that looks to be oxidized or worn. The lamp on/off switch is a little buggy but does turn off and on sometimes you have to rotate dial an extra turn to activate on or off. Charming porcelain lamp made from a hand painted vase. Decorated on the front and back with two different vignettes and gilt trim on the handles and the neck of the vase. It is impossible to determine with any certainty the origin of the vase without taking the lamp apart to see the porcelain marks. Dimensions: 25" height to the top of the finial. 4 ½" height of the metal base, 15 ½" height to the bottom of the bulb socket. The metal base is 8" long and 6" wide. Weight 6 ½ lb without any packing materials. The lamp is offered for sale with harp and finial but WITHOUT the lampshade. The lampshade is old and has developed some foxing spots- see photos- it would have to be recovered with a new fabric.
