1920s Art Deco Torchiere Lamp. The Lamp stand is by Oscar Bach. It is Silver Plated Iron. It is 69" tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the glass. The glass panel measures 9" x 9.5" The Steuben glass panel is in prefect condition with a great amber color. It is free of chips. Cracks or repairs. Lamp works perfect and is a beauty! 2 Rare Vintage Mid Century Glass & Brass Stiffel? Torchiere Table Lamps
These two lamps came from an estate sale. My know-it-all sister believes they are Stiffel(This because she is a dealer at the Rose Bowl swap meet in So. California) However. They are NOT marked where I can see. I have not removed the bottom pad. They both work. The decorative work around the glass is in great shape. It has a rubber feel to it. Know-it all says they are hand-painted. They lamps measure 33.5' tall with the diffuser. But minus the finial. The base is 10" The shades are 15" at the top opening. 16" tall and 20" at the bottom opening. There is only one finial and one diffuser shattered on the dining room floor when my husband turned the lamp upside down to look for a marking. The shades would need to be recovered at some point. Over the decades the brass reacts to moisture and the result is what you see. We now call this"antique patina. The lamp takes a mogul bulb, and a new mogul bulb was recently purchased for this lamp. The lamp is in wonderful working condition. The cord has been inspected but I always advised the buyer to get it inspected before using. There are 2 switches that operate the different lighting. 1 is for the main center 3 way light& the other operates the 3 candelabra's. The result, an excellent light source. Pick up only! Vintage Antique Floor Lamp with Glass Shade Torchiere This item will not be shipped. It is local pick up only. Vintage Antique Floor Lamp with Glass Shade Torchiere. This was my grandmother's. And is nearly 100 years old. It is 64 1/2 inches tall overall. It works fine. There is mahogany color wood just under where the bulb goes, and in the base. It's very heavy, so I think it's brass. I believe it's been painted, as I remember it being darker in color. The glass shade is probably not the original one. And as you can see in the picture, the neck of the glass shade was broken. However, the damage can't be seen when it's on the lampstand, and doesn't affect the warm glow from the lamp, and is solid when inserted in the lamp. The closeups kind of distort the color of the glass shade. It is more like ... morethe color in the picture that shows the whole lamp, a sort of tan color. It uses mogul three way bulbs. There is one in the lamp. And two new spares, so you get three bulbs with it. I will not ship. Local pick up only, unless you make your own arrangements to have it picked up and delivered to you. Victorian TORCHIERE FLOOR LAMP delicate glass lamp shade brass
For sale is a floor lamp that was purchased by me at an estate sale at a local Victorian house. It is really handsome lamp. It has a bronze core and cast iron base for stability on the bottom also features a nice glass insert in the middle that appears to be molded but has bubbles in the glass inside- so its probably of the older glass and not perfect. Please look at photos and judge for yourself. The shade will have to be shipped separate from lamp because of the size and weight of lamp. I think it was rewired at some point because most of those antique lamps I have seen require bigger bulbs- 100v with larger stem. It measures 53 inches tall with shade on. Diameter of shade 15 inches and shade is 9 inches tall. Without shade its 52' high with the milk glass. The shade just sits on top of the milk glass part. This is a rare and unique art deco nude lady figural boudoir lamp. On the back it is stamped DES Pat Appl For. I am not sure of it's age but it looks very old. The lamp stands about 8" tall to the top of the socket. The shade that is on it is not original but fits great. It is a small white milk glass torchiere shade. It appears to be made of cast iron. WOW!! Antique Ornate Chrome Torchiere Floor Lamp w/ Onyx Base & Glass over Stem
This is a fantastic antique torchiere floor lamp with many hard-to-find details; ornate baroque cut-out design top and base. Chip and crack-free beautifully marbled onyx over base, a full 3 feet of ribbed crystal clear fluted glass over the stem, and original chrome finish on metal pieces. The original large mogul(three-way) socket is intact and needs re-wiring, but I will leave that to the buyer because the lamp will be completely disassembled for shipping and the old wire will need to be removed to separate all the lamp pieces. I will label each piece in order of position on the stem for easy reassembly. The condition is very good. But there are a few minor flaws; the chrome finish on the base is worn and has some shallow pitting(shown in the photos) but the finish on rest of the pieces looks good with light spottiness. The glass pieces ... moreare all in very good condition with some possible shallow chipping and staining on tops and bottoms where they fit into brass caps. There are no cracks or other damage. The onyx on the base looks excellent. The lamp measures 60" H x 12" W at the base. And the opening in the top of the lamp for the bottom of a shade to fit into measures 3" W. A shade is not included. I have tested the 3 candelabra bulbs. Which work, but I did not have an adapter to test the center Mogul bulb socket. That socket holds a larger bulb that can still be bought, or an adapter can be found at Home Depot or Lowes so it will take a regular size bulb. It worked when I last used the lamp, approximately 6 years ago. It’s been in safe storage since. 57”H. Base is 11” diameter. The heavy decorative footed chrome base is topped with slag agate glass. Antique Vintage (circa 1940/1950s) Torchiere Art Deco Floor Lamp w/Glass Shade
In family conversations it is generally believed that this lamp was originally purchased in the early 1950s and handed down through the family since then. Sitting in a corner. But probably not in use for the past 40 years or so until I took it to the local lighting store be rewired. It has fallen to me to dispose of things like this and perhaps use the funds in a way she(my wife's aunt) would have approved. To establish the price at which it is listed. I contacted one of the local auction houses and they feel that $200 would be a reasonable price. As to measurements: it stands 65" high and the shade is 18" diameter. It takes a mogul bulb which is included. The lamp comes from a smoke free, pet free home. To avoid any confusion. Antique 1920's Torchiere Art Deco Floor Lamp With Milk Glass Shade
This's a very nice 1920's art deco torchiere standing floor lamp with milk glass shade. The height is 5'8" x 14" at the base. There's light surface rust under the base. For its age it's in excellent condition.
