Vtg Mid Century Continental Art Co Art Deco Female Chalkware Table Lamp Light
Up for auction is an incredible opportunity to own one of the rarest plaster lamp sets there is! Up for auction is the Female version of the Robin Hood or Hunter chalkware lamps made by Continental Art Co. in the 1950's. I believe this example has the original fiber shade and finial. Incredible over the top design that is super retro now! As collectible lamp sets. The Continental lamps prove to be super collectible! Great Art Deco design! Very minor paint issues. One scrape of the paint on her knee and some minor scratches on her back arm. These could be easily touched up. Original socket and cord both in great shape. The fiber shade is in very good condition but the cording is broken in a couple of places. There are very few issues for such a rare lamp. Nice color with glossy brown skin and speckled cream clothing and details. Large ... moremushrooms are at her feet. This auction is for this lamp only but I can purchase the male mate to this lamp if you are interested. There is no fiber shade or finial but he is in excellent condition like this one. Retro 1970 Pieri Chalkware Lamp ~ Beautiful Señorita ~ 18" ~ 3 Way
This is a beautiful lamp. In wonderful condition. It is signed"1970 PIERI" It looks like it is made of Chalkware, or something similar. The switch turns on either the top light, or the light under her dress, or both at the same time. It appears this lamp was not used much. There are not the common chips in the Chalkware, and the underside of her dress does not show any reaction to the heat of the bulb. I do not have the original lampshade. I believe this lamp dates from the 1940's or 50's and it is in EXCELLENT working condition! There is some minor scraping around the! base and the little boy with the blue hat has a TINY chip on the fingertips of his right hand! I believe the cord is original or at the very least an old replacement and it is fine with no cracks or breaks and still supple! The socket looks to be a newer replacement and it is a 3 way socket. Although I do not know the watts for each click! There is no shade, and it will take one that either clips to the bulb, or has a center shaft that will rest on the socket rim! The bottom has been re-felted! Approx. 10.75" to the top of the socket! Quoted shipping charges are based on the farthest zone from me. Antique FORTUNE TELLER CHALKWARE MOTION LAMP Art Deco Woman Original Paint
Thanks for browsing Vintage Apt for that special something.you never know what the Gypsy Lady will bring! Rare Antique Chalkware Art Deco Fortune Teller Motion Lamp Amazing and rare antique motion lamp from the 1920s. The woman has on a deep red cloak and sits on a divan and gazes down. Perhaps trying to decipher the future? Wonderful Egyptian and Art Deco design in her appearance. There is a tall appliance in front of her from which she(apparently) seeks answers- this is where the spinner and incense cup are(see photos) There are three little openings that were originally covered with a decorated paper screen, but only one of the paper screens is still there. The way I understand that this sort of lamp works. You put a piece of incense into the cup and plug in the lamp. The light flickers against the fortune teller's face and the incense ... moresmoke is drawn up around her face, aiding the mystical atmosphere. The details on this are fabulous. And even in its' messed up condition the colors are crazy good. I believe this is the original paint. What I did do. For safety's sake, was to have the wiring fixed- and now the lamp is safe to use. The color wheel spins and the bulb works.voila! Second problem: there was a crack on one side of the lamp, probably about 3-4" long. The crack wasn't big enough to split the lamp in half or anything like that, but I didn't want the crack to spread. So I inserted a glue into the crack to hold it tightly. See last photo on right. Lastly, it's plain to see that the paint needs restoration. Most of the paint is actually present, but some accident has shaved off some of the paint(mostly on one side) and a bit of the plaster, giving it a spotty look. Vintage Charlie Chaplin Chalkware Lamp With Globe. Excellent Condition- Works!
Charlie Chaplin chalkware bar lamp. 22" tall from base to top of globe. Globe is 6"plastic globe. The chalkware lamp is in excellent condition. Very small chip in the paint on lamp pole. Base has a coaster or ashtray built in. The lamp works but I don't know how old the wiring is. So you might want to update it for safety. Very cool piece!

Mid Century Mod Lamp Faux Mosaic Tile Genie Bottle Chalkware XL 1950's Beauty
Mid Century Mod Chalkware/ Pottery Lamp Amazingly gorgeous Genie Bottle design. Cream in color with multi colors, turquoise blue, green, gold& brown faux mosaic tile look with a polished brass base. Lamp is large& heavy. Overall height 35" total height of the chalkware measures 21" including the brass base, center of the lamp measures 11" across, lamp has a weight of approx. 10 lbs. Wonderful design. In great vintage condition, three way lamp functions as it should, lamp is very solid& strong, free of any cracks, colors are bright with no fading. Brass bottom has no pitting or discoloration. Electrical cord& plug are also free of damage. Condition issues to be noted would be some age related scratches& scuffs. There are some brown blotches/ color on the cream background, but may be original to the lamp. ... moreBrass harp does have some tarnishing present. No felt bottom(furniture protector) present. Antique Vintage Western Cowboy Bucking Bronco Lamp Chalkware Original Paint VGC
Great old Bucking Bronco Cowboy lamp made out of chalkware and in very good condition for it's age. Original copper and black paint. Original wiring as shown in pictures. These sockets are encased in the chalk when they are made. Impossible to rewire when made this way without destroying the back of the lamp. I used this lamp as a night light with a 15 watt bulb and had it on a timer. I never had any problems with it. Just stating this so the buyer is aware of the originality of this lamp. The shade is not original and is a design I came up with and produced myself. Red glass with rustic fence and black trim. Shade is removable from the lamp. 11" in diameter. Lamp height to top of cowboy's head is 14" high. Depth is 7" Old felt on bottom of base. Look at the pictures and please ask any and all questions before buying ... morethe lamp. Antique chalkware heron crane bird lamp round finial
Antique chalkware heron lamp round finial. Very old as you can tell by the electric cord. Has nicks and paint missing as you can see from picture, because of it's vintage age. To top of finial is 18 1/2 inches, approx. 6 1/2 inches wide and from base to top of lamp ceramic is approx. 7 inches. Tested with bulb, lamp still working, but I suggest cord replacement. Large Mythical Antique Nude Woman & CENTAUR Faun Chalkware Lady Goddess Lamp
This is simply an awesome antique lamp. It depicts a beautiful nude woman entwined with cherubs and a half-man half-horse creature. The Faun or Centaur. Centaurs are from Greek mythology and were reputed to be womanizers and know for their revelries. The lamp is adorned by hanging grapes, which seem to be the object of their attainment. This lamp shows great detail. And is large at 29" to the top of the globe. I do not see any chips or cracks, other than paint flakes where the globe sits. When inspected closely, I can see spots where there has been old touch-ups to the paint, but overall this lamp is in good condition. I believe it dates to the 1920's to 1930's. The globe is heavy and old. It has a brown or orange hue on the inside. This globe is not like the new. Thin globes. The lamp works. Has its original cloth-covered cord ... morewith an in-line switch. I recommend having it re-wired, because of its age. This lamp will be mailed in two boxes. Wit the globe in one box. If you have a globe already, or if you do not require this globe, it will save you about $20 in shipping cost. It will be mailed without the light bulb. Photos describe best.

Fabulous 1940s Chalkware Shepherd Dog 14 inch Tall Table Night Light Lamp Amber
This is a wonderfully proud looking Rin-Tin-Tin type Shepherd Dog Lamp. It is made of bronze painted solid chalkware measuring 14 inches tall. 10 1/2 inches wide, and weighing about 7 pounds. The bronze paint is in good vintage condition with some small paint rubs as is usually seen with chalkware of this age. The lamp is in good working order. The amber glass shade is in great condition with no chips or cracks. The shade does tip a bit and should probably be stabilized with a rubber washer. The lamp takes a regular bulb or candle-shaped bulb. Shown with a 40 watt candle shaped bulb. We ship on the next business day after purchase. We maintain a 100% customer satisfaction rating.
