There is also signs of rust on the thumb screws as well as the chain which would need to be cleaned up. It looks as if someone had started to restore this lamp but never finished. There are new wires as well as new sockets and it is being sold as working. The lamp shades shown in the pictures will be included. The glass lamp shades are free from any chips or cracks. The fitter size is a standard 2 1/4" so most antique lamp shades would fit this lamp. This lamp also comes with the ceiling canopy and the original mounting bracket. i am referring to this as lamp number 001) This is a beautiful lamp with delicate roses trimmed in gold. From the base to the tip of the light socket it stands 22 1/2 inches. Base is approx. 8 1/2 inches, the middle is the same as the base. The wiring was redone a long while back. I have been told that this lamp is Cappodimonte but that is just a suggestion. If anyone has any information or recognizes the style I would love to hear from you. I purchased them from a lady who inherited them from her mother and remembers them always around from her earliest memories. c1880 MOSER Glass BANQUET LAMP Cranberry w/Applied ALLIGATORS Salamanders
Presented for your consideration is this incredible Bohemian art glass banquet lamp. I believe it was made in the Ludwig Moser factory at the end of the nineteenth century but Harrach is also a possibility-any info appreciated. I also found a similar example identified as English in"Victorian Decorative Glass" by Gulliver(page 135) The lamp is cranberry glass with elaborate applied decoration. Featured are two large alligators or salamanders accented with lines of rigaree. The top is especially nice with a border of drip"icicles" The separate font is also cranberry glass. It has a Plume& Atwood burner which is obviously not proper. The lamp measures 14" high, 5 1/4" across at the top of the font and 6 1/2" across at the foot. The lamp is in overall very good condition but does have a significant crack ... morein the foot. Seems very stable but see enlarged photo to evaluate. The body of the lamp, font and applied decoration all appear to be excellent. This over the top Moser oil lamp should be a very special addition to a collection and is offered without reserve. Vintage Antique Hurricane Gone with the Wind Lamp Applied Brass Floral Design
Up for consideration is this Vintage or Antique Hurricane Gone with the Wind Lamp Applied Brass Floral Design. Both top and bottom light and there are switch positions to light either or both. The bottom socket takes a Christmas tree type bulb. We have sold one these before and at that point new the name of the maker. But it isn't coming to us now. It is in very good'as found' original condition with age consummate ware. There are chips or flea bites around the bottom rim of the top shade. They are pretty much out of sight when the shade is applied to the top rim(see photos) The top shade crimped rim has one very small flea bite or chip(see photos) Also on the top rim there is one applied leaf that may have broken away. When viewing the lamp it is also on the left side of the top shade(see photos) It's also possible this was ... morethe way it was from manufacture. On the smoked glass chimney there is a light line in the white area, it is out of sight when the shade is applied. It measures approximately 10 inches in diameter for top shade. 10 inches in diameter for bottom shade, 8 inches at lower faux reservoir shade, 20 inches to top of top shade and 21 inches to top of hurricane globe. Rare Antique Bradley Hubbard applied dragon lamp
I am pleased to offer this rare Bradley& Hubbard Antique Oil Floor Lamp The lamp stands 54 1/2" tall and is 11" at the widest point. When I purchased this 10 years ago I was told it is bronze. You be the judge. It has applied dragons and phoenix. At some point someone electrified this lamp but left the oil container intact. It can still be used as an oil lamp.
