The shade is made of a cast metal with a bronze finish and fitted with six amber(caramel) slag glass panels. The base has a pull chain double socket and is also made of cast metal. There is some age appropriate surface wear to both parts of the lamp such a patina and finish loss. Also there is a crack in the shade's metal frame(see pic 7) and some light scratches on some of the glass panels but none that are apparent(most of these are just deep striations in the glass made during production) Otherwise the lamp is wonderful condition and is in perfect working order as well. The shade measures 16 1/4" W x 8 1/4" H. The lamp base measures 20 1/4" H(with& without shade) x 7 1/8" W and is marked on the bottom: E M& Co 1159. Good Luck& Happy Bidding! I have seen lamps like this and the metal is thinner and fragile this is tough and heavy; I guess that’s good because it can last more. But either original or knockoff I think it is beautiful and well made with all the glasses there and with no cracks. Beautiful example of pure French art nouveau style. Measuring 24” ht to finial by 20” diameter the shade by 9” diameter the base. The finial bolt has to be welded to the base or just get a longer bolt because this is not holding the shade in place.

This is a 10 panel slag glass lamp shade in caramel color. The 10 top panels are all intact. There are 6 skirt panels that have cracks but are being held in place by the ornate structure. They could probably be glued together. They are not very noticeable. NO HOLES. The shade can be oriented so that none of the cracks can be discernable. The shade came off a Miller base. Which was lost in a move. The top of the shade has a hole for the mount, and there are several ventilation holes surrounding it. Thanks for looking! BTW the dimentions are 14" across and 7.5" high.

This auction is for an electric lamp with a slag glass shade. The base is marked 831 on the underside. The base is cast iron with a finish over it. The other parts are not iron. Some wear and/or small chips to the finish. Measures 16 1/2" assembled. The shade itself is 6 1/2" tall and the opening is 7" across. Some rough areas and chips on the edges of the glass pieces but nothing that shows from the outside and no cracks, some scratches or scuffs on the outside, the metal hides any edge damage. Antique lamp base part for slag glass shade , Bradley and Hubbard
This antique base is not si gned but I have seen it on Bradley and Hubbard lamps so I have listed it as such. It is primarily made of pot mteal with a br ass stem and steel socket cluster. All are painted in a bronze col ored finish with gilt highlights. The paint has some chipping and could use some restor ation. Other than that this base is in fine condition. It is not cracked bent or broken in any way. It is 20" tall and measures 8 1/2"across the widest dimension of the bottom. T he top of the socket cluster measures 1 3/4" It weighs 5 3/4 pounds. This is a Great Old Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Shade in very good condition! It is an 8 Panel shade and all the glass is damage free it also has all it's little tabs. I see no makers marks so I do not know who made the shade or it's age my best guess is 1940s but it could be earlier. It looks to be very well made. From a local estate. A beautiful vintage"Blue Slag Glass and Metal End Of The Trail Lamp Shade. Nice detail and eye appeal. Shade dates from the late 19teens to the 1920's. Six identical panels make up the shade. Each panel is held in place with a soldered brass holder. The metal design of the outer shade appears to be spelter finished with a bronze look. Marked on the inside of the shade top with what appears to be a series of letters and numbers"HB ... more618 595 411. No other marks that I could find. Measures approx. 7 1/2" high. Each panel base measures approx. 7" and each panel top measures approx. 2 3/4. Width of shade from flat side to flat side is 12" and from angle point to angle point is 14 1/4. No damage to any of the glass panels. No apparent damage to the metal parts of the shade that I could see. This is a very heavy shade. This is a beautiful lampshade that can be easily converted to a hanging swag lamp. It is ornate. Nicely patinaed brass with alternating slag glass panels of brilliant red and swirled white. This is a rare and beautiful antique American table lamp from the famous firm of Bradley& Hubbard(Meriden. Connecticut 1852-1940) The glass shade has the shape of a modified pine cone and an unusual reverse painted design depicting a blue lattice basket surrounded by gold and green leaves. The body and pedestal are made of hollow bronze. The hand painted design done on each of the 4 panels matches the colors of the lamp. Each of the four panels of the shade is identified by the engraved company name. Bradley& Hubbard Manufacturing Co. The shade measures approximately 17” in diameter and about 9” tall. The shade glass has a vertically ribbed texture on the outside and has an overall frosted look to the inside of the shade. The lamp base is a bronze-bronze color with a crackled texture and is shaped like a slender urn. Cast iron or guilded metal and marble, alabaster or slag glass table lamp with mid century modern drum shade in good to very good working condition. The brass, gold tone or guilded finish is worn off in some areas and there is a small chip or knick in the marble base shown in the pictures. Also along the upper side of the urn body I noticed a difference in coloration while taking the pictures, it does not look like a crack but I am just not sure. Both the lamp and shade have a very subtle light green tint. This heavy marble lamp is approximately 20" tall from the base to the top of the finial and 10.5" from the 4.5" square base to the top of the urn. Stunning big Edward Miller table lamp stamped E& M Co. on the base. It measures 24 inches high and 16 inches across the widest part of the shade. It needs re wiring and has not been used for many decades. Unfortunately the shade has some losses to the detail(see picture 3) and the basket detail is missing from 3 sides(every other one) This could be restored. However I think it looks beautiful as it is. The base and the finial are stunning and the detail is excellent. It is a very stylish item. With a gentle clean and re-wiring this lamp will look exquisite in a period or quirky home. It is very heavy and I will post in the UK in a very large box by courier. A very nice antique. Circa 1920's, bronze base boudoir lamp with antique leaded slag glass shade. The lamp base is probably made by Handel, although the shape of the base, and the shade cap, are not pictured in either of the two major reference books on Handel. The shade is probably not by Handel. As presented the lamp measures 15" tall by 5" bottom diameter. The shade measures 4" tall by 5" diameter, the top opening 2-1/4" diameter. It is in working order with original socket, new cord, old plug. Excellent condition: bronze base without dents, original even patina without verdigris. The shade is without damage, secure leadings.

Antique Mission Arts/Crafts Lamp with Slag Glass Shade Around 1920's
This is an old one but it has problems so read the description. All but one of the large slag glass panels on the shade has a crack. 2 of the panels have several cracks. The lower green panels and the upper small white panels are good. All panels are tight and the frame is tight with no cracks. The base looks good with no chips.Cracks or dents but there is a post on the inside bottom which I think should have held in some sort of counterweight. Base is 7 1/2" square so it is actually quite stable without the weight. Base looks to be brass that has been dusted with greenish paint way back when. Finish is pretty even over the entire lamp. Both pull chain sockets work. Wiring is the old cloth covered and should be replaced. Base stands 22 1/4" tall to where the shade sets-about 24" to the top of the finial. Shade is 6 sided and ... more16 1/4" diameter across the flats-18 3/4" across the points and is 10" deep. I don't see anything signed. Up for auction is a GORGEOUS antique caramel and green slag glass paneled lamp shade 12" tall. 21" across with a 5 1/2" fitter hole at the top. It has some finish wear and has all of the clips that hold in the glass panels, in very good cond. There is one section that has the filigree missing in about a 2 inch section, as shown in one of the pictures. An old original caramel slag glass lamp ceiling hanging lamp or you can use it as a lamp shade by removing the inner hardware. Currently there is a socket for standard light bulbs to screw into. And housing to mount an internal bulb shade or cover, and there are the chain links and the three wires to connect to however you wish to connect it, via wire nuts, electrical tape or by adding a new cord, etc. There are two of the large curved glass that have been cracked, one of them is un-noticeable almost invisible and the other is visible but still in tact, I feel that it gives it character. Being this old most of these lamps/shades have had their glass replaced or repaired, this is one that is all original and the cracks are not even upsetting to spot. nice old table lamp that at one time was a gas light the fitting was removed so wire could be run for electric but is still with the lamp. it is 21 inch high. the shade is 12 inch across and 7 1/2 inch deep. there is paint wear as you can see on photos cannot list every single little flake of paint but overall lamp is real nice looking. there is one side of the shade that has defect in pattern worn away or imperfect metal mold the crescent on the top of the dome building is missing if you look at the shade images you will be able to see it otherwise the metal framework is all good as is the base good and strong. I was not able to find manufacture marks anywhere.

It measures 11 3/4” tall– has a 16” diameter at the bottom– and has an 8” diameter at the top– at this size this may even work as a table lamp shade. The trim has a“Floral” motif and appears to be metal– I think the balance of the material surrounding or holding the glass is brass. This is a beautiful lamp that needs to be restored. It has 3 sockets but only 2 of them have chains. One socket looks like a replacement with no chain. The base has paint loss. The mid section looks good. It has a nice patina. This lamp is 22 inches tall. It would make quite a show piece once restored. It is a heave lamp and very well made.
