This Auction is for an Antique Victorian. Gone With the Wind, Kerosene Oil Lamp. It measures 19" to the Top of the Antique Frosted and Floral etched Globe Ball Shade. The shade has to small chips to the fitter end that goes into shade holder so it is not visible when on the Lamp.The oil Reservoir is frosted Pressed Glass and the bottom part of the stem with painted Butterfly I Believe is a soft Blue milkglass. The base is footed and chased, etched. The burner is marked and has Patent date on the turn wheel for wick but my eyes are not good enough to make it out. Welcome to Antiques& Moore! This listing is for a beautiful antique Amberina art glass miniature"Daisy& Cube" Oil Lamp. C. late 1800's. This lovely miniature oil lamp has beautiful coloration in the glass that shades from dark red to amber. The Early American Pattern Glass(EAPG) design is called"Daisy& Cube" A design which was popular in the late 1800's. The glass is in mint condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. All parts are present and appear to be original to this lamp. Lamp is pictured as figure 482 on page 200 in the book"Miniature Lamps" by Frank& Ruth Smith. M easures 9 1/4" high at globe. 8" high to top of cup with a top diameter of 3 5/16" and the base is 3" in diameter. Weighs 1.4 pounds. CLARKES FAIRY CRICKLITE LAMP OIL CANDLE BASE CUP & GLASS DOME CUT PRESSED GLASS
Here we have a stamped original Victorian Clarke's Cricklite/Fairy Lamp type night-light holding base cup with its original matching glass dome(peg version for candlesticks etc. The lamps were used with night-light candles(similar to tea-lights of today but usually deeper) and sometimes a very small oil lamp in the place of a candle. The cup is made of clear pressed-glass imitating brilliant-cut crystal. The peg at the base has its often missing wooden'stump-like' mount around it to fit into a candle socket. The base measures 10cm diameter and is in excellent condition. The glass dome measures 8cm diameter at the bottom and 12 cm high approx. and is in very nice condition with a couple of nibbles from the top glass rim and some verdigree under the metal rim but I am sure this could be clean ed off- but does not detract in any ... moreway. There are a couple of bubbles in the glass from the original manufacture- a sign of its age. The gold band running around the bottom circumference is impressed with the Cricklite name. Cracks, nicks, dings, flea bites, scratches, scuffs, repairs, streaking, yellowing, etc. There is wear to the ring. Shade stands 5.75 inches high. The rim measures 4.375" at the top and 8.875 inches at the harp opening. The harp may be original to the shade. It stands 2.75 inches high. It comes in 2 pieces and is connected at the center. There is a removable plastic piece that helps connect the top and bottom. I dont know if this is original to the lamp or it was something that was added at a later time. The inside is hollow from the top piece all the way to the bottom piece. Antique GIANT brand EAPG Pressed Glass Oil / Kerosene Lamp egg & dart design ?
Authentic early 19th Century pressed glass oil or kerosene lamp. This is just the bottom. no burner or shade. Markd GIANT right in the glass on the side of the base up a little ways. Looks like it was made partially in a THREE part mold. Love the subtle picture frame border designs around the top and base. is that"egg and dart" Rather large as lamps go. what you see here measures approx. 8.5" high with a 6.5" diameter base. Plenty of shelf wear on the base rim to prove it is authentic. Probably could use a good cleaning with a bottle brush but glass does not look in any way damaged. EAPG 1888 Riverside Glass RIVERSIDE 300 Pressed Pattern Glass Kerosene Oil Lamp
Offered is an antique early American pattern glass kerosene oil lamp measuring 8 1/2" tall. 4 1/2" wide with no burner. The lamp is in the Riverside 300 pattern produced by Riverside Glass Works of Wellsburg WV. It was made in 1888 and has a solid stem with bevelled blocks design. It is in good condition with no damage or repairs. The metal collar on top is marked"Patented Sept 19, 1882 and December 4, 1883" This is a nice old lamp to add to a collection or display.
