Vintage Pair Aladdin Pink Alacite Boudoir Dresser Table Vase Urn Accent Lamps
This is a nice vintage pair of Aladdin marked alacite lamps in very light pink with elegantly scrolled handles on both sides. Both are in very good working condition and have replacement lamp cords. There are two minor defects; both have a few tiny shallow chips missing from the bottom surfaces of their bases(the remainder of both lamps is free of cracks and chips) And one of the on/off switches sticks a little and doesn't want to"snap" into the on or off position unless it's wiggled back and forth a little. The lamps measure 18" high by 4 1/2" wide at the base. Both lamps have a lamp harp on which to place a shade, but I do not have shades or finials for them.

A vintage cupid lamp made by the Alladin Company. It is made of"Alacite" glass. It is in good condition. The gold painted band around the base is mostly worn off. It measures about 12.5" high to the top of the socket. This lamp uses a shade that clips onto the light bulb. The lamp has been newly wired but still has the old electric plug. Vintage Authentic Aladdin PINK TINT ALACITE Tall Lincoln Drape Oil HURRICANE Lamp Glass With Flute Chimney. The short and tall Lincoln drape lamps share the fact that they are the only Aladdin lamps to have been reproduced. Or copied, by other manufacturers. They have been reproduced in a variety of colors, but the new lamps are easily recognized by the presence of a metal collar where the burner screws into the lamp. Old lamps do not have this collar. Their burner threads are metal but are glued inside the lamp with no part of them visible from the outside.As you can see this lamp is completely authentic. Some of the early lamps have an oversized ... morefoot and are a rare find.
