Pair of Antique Wall Lamp Fixtures
Pair of really old wall lamp fixtures. The metal appears to be brass. It is painted over. There are a few paint splatters on the glass globes. Im sure could be removed with paint thinner. There are no cracks or breaks in the glass globes. The switches are the turn-type switches and they feel like they work ok. The wiring will need replaced. The pattern on the globes appear to be a flower type pattern, possibly roses. The globes are tinted a rose color near the upper half. The fixture comes out about 6 inches from the wall, then angle downward about 9 inches. The tall lamps are hand blown, cut to clear, royal blue glass. These are quality made lamps with attention to detail around each cut- photos do not do them justice. The scalloped edge top is hand cut with notches as shown, the neck or stem of the lamp is cut to clear with clover style shapes which are repeated around the cut base. The 10 cut crystal prisms on each lamp are 2 parts, octagon diamond at the top and long, elaborately cut, 3 sided Prince Albert style drops with spear ends, believe they are original to the lamp however they vary in length some. Antique Giesshubel Dresser Lamp Pair Art Nouveau Porcelain Germany Celluloid Set
This lovely pair of porcelain antique dresser lamps were made in Germany apparently by Giesshubel near the turn of the century. Both lamps have faint markings and I can barely see that one lamp is marked with number 15508? or. 15808? also, Germany and a letter G with vertical arrows. Most likely dated from the late 1800's to the 1920's. The mark seems to be the older one but I am not an expert. This dresser Lamp Pair is in very good condition and, surprisingly, the lamps turned on immediately with their old spooky antique electrical cord. Rewiring is highly recommended) Dresser lamps were created to adorn each side of a lady's dresser or dressing table. They are wired together to serve this intended purpose. Also interesting, are the Art Nouveau ladies with their draping and flowing clothing. You can see from the photos that a ... moredifferent picture of ladies adorns each side of the lamp. The celluloid shades are in nice condition considering age and wear. One shade has a slight tear on the bottom and there are a few little bubbles here and there. It is possible these were boxed up for many years. I purchased the lamps in a live auction where they were liquidating a high end life estate full of beautiful antiques. Absolutely beautiful matched pair of Japanese Shofu lamp bases cast with holes measuring 7/16" at top and base are ready to be mounted on bases and electrified. They are vase-shaped with gilded porcelain handles and feature hand-painted floral motifs in their primary faces. Which pink rose floral sprays against a white background. The curving sides feature gold Satsuma rose sprays against a lovely French blue ground. The divided panels are trimmed in gold rules with raised gold dots. Signed at base"SHOFU made in Japan" Please note bases have the same lantern-shaped logo w/in a wreath saying SHOFU, on one the"made in Japan" a previously rubbed out. Antique PAIR 2 Black Medieval/Gothic Victorian Mantle Light LAMP HAMMERD Brass?
This is for a matching pair of mantle or smaller table lamps. I believe they are all original with exception of cords. Measure 13 1/2" to top of bulb. 10 1/4" to top of socket. Really great condition. No damage to metal. Made of either metal or brass. Do see some brass coloring where paint has chipped. Cord is not original to lamp but was replaced many years ago. The light bulbs are VERY old but do still work. Both bases do have a switch hole in them but because of the pullchain on the socket perhaps they where made for either wiring.

Here is a spectacular pair of Carved Rock Crystal Quartz Lamps. The base is a 3 tiered square platform. Approx. 6 by 6 inches. Then a round carved/etched piece which holds a solid large pillar stem- topped off by a somewhat tulip shape. The quality of the quartz is excellent- with rainbows and shimmering. Just enough etching on the lamps which only improves the total look. Extremely classy- and in person- very statement pieces which cannot be ignored. These antique early 20th century lamps are in good condition! There is one small nick on one corner of one lamp. Pair Vintage Antique ? Crystal Cut Glass Table Lamp With Prisms Etched Hurricane
I looked over the glass base and did not see any major issues with the glass base. Actually did not see any issues and I looked pretty closely. The one etched hurricane has a crack in the base that can be seen in the picture. Both lamps need to be rewired. Two crystals are missing. I was able to easily take apart one lamp by hand while the other has rust. I want to cut the cords off and part the lamps for safe shipping. Please advise me of any special requirements you might have before buying. Doing an excellent grade A+ job packing is not a special requirement and is included in the price of this item. The bottom square part of the base is 4 1/8" and the top round glass part of the base measures 4 3/4" diameter. 2/21/2014 UPDATE: Based on all the interest and questions I am having in the lamps I decided to cut the electric cords off and really examine both lamps. Two things I have noticed that are note worthy. One semi-pear glass midsection has 4 hairline cracks. The glass is very thick and these cracks do not carry into the inside of the glass. I never noticed these cracks until I really examined the individual pieces looking for issues. The rest of the glass pieces on both lamps look good. One piece of wire that hangs through the glass base is missing. This thin piece of wire allows the crystal to hang from the lamp. The cords are off and ready to have new wiring. The existing lamp fixtures on the lamps look to be in good condition and will work just fine. New wire and inline switch will be needed. 2/21/14 UPDATE: New wire and plugs added. Kept the switches as new ones would not match the quality of the existing ones. Little over 7 foot long cords. All the effort of wiring and costs means I am not likely to accept a best offer

This lamp is over 100 years old! It is a pair point lamp that stands 12" tall and is absolutely gorgeous! The original brass base is intact as is the wiring. In fact. The wiring is in perfect shape. There is also a dimmer switch on the wiring that allows you to dim the light. The shade is in perfect shape and depicts a woodland scene. There is a little bit of roughness around the bottom of the lamp shade where it sits on the base. Small chips or fleaks. Nothing that is seen or noticeable when the shade is on the lamp. Vintage ART DECO LADY Lamp Pair Polychrome Painted Metal Cottage Chic Antique This Wonderful pair of polychrome painted metal lamps feature a great deco design of a woman(or girl) standing within an archway. With one hand holding a rose in front and the other behind her holding onto the pedestal. Just wonderful and ready for use. Approx. measurements are 13" tall. To top of socket, with the base measuring 6 1/2" wide. The lamps are in good antique condition with wear to the paint as shown. The one on-off knob has been replaced and it looks different than the other. It does work fine. The old cardboard"candle" socket covers have some wear also. No chips. Cracks or repairs. They look to have original sockets with old cloth cover wiring however the they look to have new cloth covered electrical cords and plugs. They work ... morefine however as with all lighting, they should be rewired or at the very least, checked out by a licensed electrician. Really a wonderful pair of antique figural lamps. Vintage items are a piece of history and always in style. Offering styles and construction that cannot be duplicated today.
