But either original or knockoff I think it is beautiful and well made with all the glasses there and with no cracks. Beautiful example of pure French art nouveau style. Measuring 24” ht to finial by 20” diameter the shade by 9” diameter the base. The finial bolt has to be welded to the base or just get a longer bolt because this is not holding the shade in place.

Vintage Slag Glass Lamp Shade with Winged Griffins Shown is a vintage caramel slag glass lamp shade with a very sturdy and ornate metal(lead) frame that features winged griffins. The frame has no breaks and no repairs and comes to you with its original untouched brass/gilded finish and aged patina. The shade measures 13 inches wide at the bottom(corner to corner) and 4 inches wide at the top and stands 7 inches tall. The 6 panels measure 6 inches at the bottom and 2 inches at the top. The glass panels are all in good condition with no cracks and no chips.

Features Houze Sage Green Slag Glass embellishments on this great old lamp. Early 1900's lamp. Perfect Condition. Shade has a pinkish interior. I can't say for sure the shade dates as old as the lamp. But it is an old shade. Has an old Fat boy socket in it; I've turned it on and off 25-30 times; works great. Should probably have no more than a 60 watt bulb, though in the old days, they regularly installed 100 waters. Designed as a task light, mainly for reading in the parlor. 56 1/2" tall. Lamp will be disassembled for shipment. Not hard to reassemble at all.

UNIQUE Art Deco Nouveau Gothic Figural Sphinx Lion Leaded Slag Glass Lamp Light
Great antique art deco/nouveau figural Egyptian Sphinx(made out of what I believe to be bronze) lamp with an exquisite marbled leaded slag glass multi colored shade. The arm holding the shade rotates from side to side. And I believe it is brass. This piece is in excellent condition, the shade is free from any chips or cracks. The lamp weighs over 6 pounds, it's a very solid heavy piece. There is some wear from age to the arm, and some age to the body of the Sphinx, so please look closely at the pictures. I couldn't find any makers mark, the only signature I could find was the"Leviton" which is the company that makes the wiring. I have looked all over. The crack took me a while to see but it is present yet the slag glass is holding inside the metal casting perfectly fine. Base is heavy cast iron with a brass stem and cast iron metal holding the slag glass panels. Overlay metal work on the shade has a nice hammered aged look to it with some dust present and light surface scratches yet I think that is from production and not actu al scratches. Up for auction is an antique hanging 4 panel slag glass cast lamp with filigree. The lamp has 4 curved and tapered panels. All in excellent condition, no cracks or repairs. Each varies in color. The lamp measures 13" long X 6" across at the top. The lamp will need a simple rewiring, it is not currently working. There is some tarnish/pitting on one side of the fixture as this was probably hung outdoors on a porch. The chain that is currently attached is about 10" long. This lamp was purchased in an antique store in approximately 1974. So it is AT LEAST 40 years old. This lamp is very heavy and solid. The shade sets solidly on the unique shade-holder. The beautiful design on the shade has an art-deco quality about it. One panel in the shade has a long crack in it(see photos) This crack was there when the lamp was purchased. The crack is not noticeable when the lamp is off but is more noticeable when turned on. However. This panel can easily be turned toward the wall if necessary. This is one Beautiful 7 PANEL RAINAUD SLAG GLASS TABLE LAMP. I think it is wonderful and represents the very best of the Craftsmanship and pure Artistic output of Massachusetts and New England during the 1900`s all the way into the early Thirties. I also believe this is all original except for the obvious replacement of one of the Lampholders. They will never again make Lamps like this.using these materials and methods. In the manner these works of Art were created and manufactured. I like to imagine that working in these shops was Fun and Productive. I imagine an artist/designer coming up with a idea. then drawing a sketch, then each worker responsible for his or her part of the product fabricating or producing their best interpretation of the Sketch using the materials and methods on site. Vintage Brass Lamp base for slag glass or reverse painted shade . Deco lamp
Here is a vintage brass lamp base for a slag glass or reverse painted shade in good working condition. All solid brass. There are some areas of darkening as you can see and a small crack in the cluster body that is shown in photo no.8. Other than that there appear to be no cracks or damage. It is 22 1/2" tall and the base is 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" with 9 1/8" being the widest measurement across the bottom. The weight is a little over 5 pounds. Sockets are marked Monowatt. They both have porcelain and brass interiors, work well and are wired to a vintage style plug with modern cord. Securely packaged and shipped insured for the winning bid amount within the USA only. Nicely made and in very good antique condition with only light. Age appropriate wear to the painted metal finish. All six original slag glass panels are free of damage, and each retains the image of a beautiful little red-breasted robin. This lamp measures approx 13-1/2" high. With a 7-1/2" wide shade. It has been rewired at some point in the past and it works well. But the pull chain sticks a bit and may need adjusting. This is a special piece of antique lighting. STUNNING Vintage Antique 1910s Art Nouveau Art Deco Lamp Cast Iron Slag Glass
DEEP REDUCTION IN PRICE. This is a beautiful lamp in the Art Nouveau. Early Art Deco Style. It is over 23" tall. Each of the 8 sides of the shade is 7" the total diameter is 16" I believe it is made out of cast iron, though it has some patina. Heavy. The glass shade is held together by ornately designed brass or bronze chevrons and ribbons. One of the ribbon is missing the top, but if you turn it towards the wall no one will ever notice. I would guess it to be from the first years of the 20th century from the time when the great(and expensive) Tiffany and Handel lamps were made. It is very unique, as most antiques are. The lamp base originally had a"banker styled" shade and I tried to find one for over a year but added the slag/stained glass shade instead. The lamp has been rewired with a new switch and has a period socket. The bookends are matching with one repair on one of the horse's ears. The pieces are marked. There are no bottom covers but they could be easily added. This set makes a striking statement for those of us who love Frankart pieces, the art deco era and the equestrian motif. Here's an old all original wall sconce with perfect all matching caramel slag glass on all four panels sides and bottom. There are no cracks or chips. The glass is dappled and not smooth with nice striations. The brass metal work is nearly mint with minor age related bruising. The bottom filligree is slightly askew. There is a newer plug on the back and two interior sockets. Both work fine The glass is superb on this piece. I have quite a few slag glass lamps in my collection. Vintage slag glass floor type smoking stand. Very colorful thick slag glass(pink.Rose,red, orange, yellow brown swirl pattern) Glass is in very nice condition. I see no chips nor cracks other than one small flake chip in the top glass piece by the metal ring(left side in photo 3) The metal has quite a bit of corrosion and corrosion bubbles. I made no attempt to clean it. I know very little about this type of item. I took lots of photos so you can make your own decisions. Overall about 29 inches tall. 25 inches to the tray plus 4 inches for the handle. About 11 inch diameter on top tray and 11 3/4 inch diameter base. Base is very neat open cutout pattern. The top tray has 4 holes for ashtrays. Containers, etc. The lidded tobacco holder container might be original. The brass tray is I think not original. The other 2 inserts are missing. Absolutely gorgeous Art Nouveau slag glass art lamp! The lamp appears gothic in style and has a snowflake or starburst finial vent accent on the top of the shade. The handcrafted workmanship is quite nice and only has 3 hairline cracks in one panel as shown in the pictures. The shades overall condition is quite good. The shade sits on a vintage Heyco cast Art Deco lamp base which has been touched up with a bit of paint. But the base isn't the star here. The shade is absolute show stopper! I have owned this lamp for about 40 years with the good intention of rewiring it. But never did. The Art Deco Base appears to be Bronzed cast metal. I occasionally oil it and it comes to life. There is a minor amount of rust, mainly underneath. The Green Mottled Slag Glass is in Excellent condition on the top. Close inspection will show chips on the bottom. This leads me to think they used left over, end-of-day glass in these Nautical Table Lamps as it would be hidden in the base. I still consider it to be in very good condition. The Harp is original and is affixed to the base. The electrical wire has been cut close to the bottom. There is enough for you to see how heavy duty it was. I noticed that one of the panels is lighter color than others. the stripes of another panel are going horizontal whereas the rest are going vertical. It has cloth wiring and part of the wring is covered with electric tape. on the decorative metal welding seems to undone but it was glued in place. there are some chips on the panels from the inside. also there are residue on the panels from the inside. This is an excellent green slag glass leaded boudoir lamp I believe it may have come out of the Handel factory, but I have also seen similar lamps by Lamb Bros. If anyone has more accurate information. Please contact me so I may make corrections. This lamp is circa 1925. The shade measures 15.5" tall with a 9" diameter. The diameter of the base is 5. Antique Slag Bent Glass W/ Filagree Art Deco Lamp 8 Panels
This item is a gorgeous aqua. White and rose slag glass lamp with very elaborate filigree on the shade. The filigree is perfect and the glass all appears to be original. The finial and holder are correct and in excellent condition. The only defects on the shade are on the interior. There are two missing clips and one small chip on an edge of a glass panel that was probably made with the original cut on the glass, it doesn't show from the outside. The panels are slightly loose and there is some dust under the filigree that I could not get too. A good professional cleaning would be in order. The shade is 17 inches in diameter and 12 inches deep, the finial is about 3 inches high. The lamp base is an antique lamp but probably not original to the shade. It has been rewired and the sockets have been replaced. It is made from tubular metal ... moreand these lamps always had cast brass or bronze bases. It is 21 inches high and has a heavy weight in the base which makes it safe to use with the shade. It works well and looks nice with the shade but is not original. THEY WERE FOUND IN THE OLD BUILDING. THAT WAS A FORMER DANCE HALL AND GAME CLUB IN DOWNTOWN HONOLULU. ONCE I SAW THEM I WAS IMMEDIATELY STUNNED BY THEIR APPEARANCE AND STARTED TO GATHER AS MUCH INFO ON THEM AS I POSSIBLY COULD RIGHT THERE ON THE SPOT USING MY COMPUTER BEFORE EVEN MAKING AN OFFER I ALREADY KNEW THAT THEY WERE PROBABLY CHINESE. I ASKED THE CURATOR OF THE BUILDING FOR HIS PERMISSION TO DETACH ONE OF THEM FROM IT'S BASE TO LOOK FOR A POSSIBLE MAKERS MARK. BUT GOT A DEFINITE"NO" FROM HIM AND WAS ASKED TO COME UP WITH THE OFFER OR LEAVE. SO. AFTER THE FIERCE NEGOTIATION I WAS THE OWNER OF A VERY STRANGE LOOKING AND HEAVY LAMPS THAT WERE SO DIRTY ... moreTHAT I HAD TO WRAP THEM UP IN A PAIR OF BEACH TOWELS THAT WERE LATER PRONOUNCED UN WASHABLE BY THE HOTEL PERSONNEL WHERE I STAYED. IT TOOK ME A WHOLE DAY TO CLEAN THE LAMPS AND OF COURSE. DURING THIS PROCEDURE I DID FIND THE MANUFACTURERS MARKS AND CAN STATE NOW THAT THE PORCELAIN MONKEY FIGURINES WERE IN FACT MADE IN CHINA DURING THE LATE 20'S AND EARLY 30'S TOGETHER WITH THE SOFT WOOD BASES. THE SLAG GLASS SHADES AND ALL METAL HARDWARE AND WIRING WERE DONE IN THE US PRE WAR. WHICH WAS THE COMMON PRACTICE BACK IN THE DAY. THE LAMPS ARE IN A GREAT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS CRACKS OR REPAIRS TO PORCELAIN AND GLASS. ONLY SOME NORMAL WARE TO METAL. PAINT AND SOME MINOR MANUFACTURER IMPERFECTIONS IN PORCELAIN SUCH AS UNDER GLAZING AND VERY SMALL PITTING DURING THE MAKING PROCESS. OVERALL I WOULD RATE THEM AS 10 FOR ORIGINAL ANTIQUE CONDITION ON A 10 POINT SCALE. I ONLY REWIRED THEM WITH PERIOD ELECTRIC CORD AND WAS ABLE TO LEAVE THE OLD SOCKETS. PLUGS AND FITTINGS. SO THEY WORK GREAT AND LOOK ALMOST THE SAME WHEN THEY WERE INSTALLED IN A VERY POSH AND STYLISH HAWAIIAN NIGHT CLUB IN A CARD GAME ROOM WHICH. The cast iron base has 4-clawed feet with a round Slag Glass accent. This lamp has ornate castings& brass spacers. The Jadeite& Slag Glass are both in good vintage condition. The orange/carmel swirls in the Slag Glass complements the base glass nicely. The shade is vintage Vaseline Glass& it also matches the base nicely.
