There is no plug on the end of the cord. It needs a new cord. The lamp stands 6 inches(15 cm) high and the wooden base is 3-1/8 inches(7.8 cm) across the widest part of the bottom. It is possible that the shade is older than the base. Although it has been this way ever since I acquired it more than 40 years ago. It would make a super night light or accent lamp if it had a new cord. I see no chips in the shell, and the wood base is dusty and dirty. Up for your consideration is an antique floor lamp– 64” tall with a 22” diameter green slag glass shade in excellent condition. No cracks or breaks. The wood pole is a substantial piece– 12-1/2” diameter solid base maple base with a hole in the center for wiring. The pole section of the lamp has a bottom dimeter of 5” and tapers slowly to a 2-3/4” diameter at the top. It is an uncommon heavy base that easily supports the large glass shade. Because of its large size it will all have to be shipped in 2-3 boxes. Reassembly may not require tools and I am always on line should you need help. Shipping will be FREE.

1930s antique bridge floor lamp with houze glass base, brass outer tubing
Up for auciton is this 1930s lamp that has a seven inch square houze glass base. The lamp retains some of its original green. Red and gold paint on its bridge, column break adn column pieces. The brass pole pieces are very clean. The lamp base as well as other pcs are clean. Minor cleaning should be done to the bottom of the base. I have replaced the glass piece with a chip and crack free base. The paddle wheel socket work. Buyer will have to rewire the lamp. To protect the pieces. This lamp was working when I purchased it at an estate sale. Prior to its sale. It was being used. I have never seen one like this. The lamp has as a rust free 11 inch square base and is four inches high. The green onyx base is 6.5 inches square and 1+ inch high. The base has a 3/4 inch green paint. There are four pieces and two rings that make up the column. Three of the pieces have the same of green paint the base has. The veined marble-like disk above the base softens the brilliance of the nickel/chrome finish- which appears to be in very good shape. Vtg 1920s Sunset Lamp Co Green Onyx Marble Base Hammond Clock FLOOR LAMP w shade
I have up for sale a wonderful vintage original circa 1920s to early 1930s SUNSET LAMP CO Floor lamp featuring a green onyx base and a Hammond Electric Clock on the section below light sockets area. This is very attractive lamp- great overall shape and the clock works perfectly. The shade dates to the same time period as the lamp and is most likely the original shade for the lamp. This is a rare clock/ lamp combination- good luck on finding another. The lamp was made by the Sunset Lamp Co of New York and dates to somewhere in the 1920's to early 30's. After doing some research I found out that mid 1930's after the depression the company went into bankruptcy and closed. In the late 30's it reopened and became the Mutual Sunset Lamp Co. Then closed for good in 1940. So the lamp has to date the 1920s to mid 30s at the latest- ... moredifficult to be more specific than that. The bottom of the lamp has a paper tag. Which states that the lamp was manufactured by the Sunset Lamp Co and that it was sold at show room No. 504 in the Empire State Building. The shade height is somewhat adjustable. It has a set screw on the top section that you can move up or down- approx 5" The approx height with the finial in place is approx 68" Overall the lamp is in Very Good to Excellent Original Condition- it was well kept and is just a wonderful looking item. The base section has a Green Onyx platform piece and matches perfectly with the large finial which also has green onyx. The green onyx is in very nice shape. Only minor light wear. The base is cast iron and has a gold plated finish- there is some minor wear but overall its very nice considering its age. The stem section is reeded. The clock works. Its a Hammond Synchronous Electric Clock. If you have not used a synchronous clock, they are be started by pushing in and spinning a small knob- then the motor engages. The shade is vintage and appears to be a mate with the lamp as well as looking great together. It is very good shape. Has a few minor scuffs but no hole

Antique heavy marble and brass floor lamp base part with feet
This is a very old. Heavy piece in nice antique condition. Marble looks to be 1 1/4 inch thick, measures 9 inches in diameter and weighs 10 lbs. Feet looks to be brass and decorative piece seems to be brass as well. There is a name on bottom that I am unable to read, only can see the last part that says co. but looks to be hand carved or stamped. The 3 candelabra lights are standard bulbs with fittings. 1 of the fittings is cracking. The main light has a milk glass shade that has a beautiful wave or clam shell design. It's in great condition. It sits securely on its base. And you can't just lift it off. The base I believe is wrought iron. Or a lighter metal. It also is in pretty nice shape, but does have a bit of the black paint peeling off, and a couple areas of oxidation. These can easily be remedied with some touch up paint, and a metal protectant. I've used this lamp for years. And the electrical connections seem fine. I've never seen it flicker or shows signs of a short. I'm not exactly sure of its age. But I believe it is from the 1970's era. Measurements and weight: from top of lamp bracket to bottom: 61-3/4" tall. Up for auction is this handsome early-mid-century floor lamp. With a brass and marble base. The strength of steel combines to create an impressively decorative and very functional lighting fixture. As did most upscale lamp manufacturers of the 30s and 40s, Marbro utilized the'Mogul' socket to utilize large, warm incandescent light array. The overly large bulb base which facilitates a much larger bulb than the standard incandescent, and the three position switch permitting alternating between 100W, 200W and 300W of light makes for a very versatile floor lamp when the mood requirement changes from a lively party to just a quiet evening alone with java and a favorite novel. WOW!! Antique Ornate Chrome Torchiere Floor Lamp w/ Onyx Base & Glass over Stem
This is a fantastic antique torchiere floor lamp with many hard-to-find details; ornate baroque cut-out design top and base. Chip and crack-free beautifully marbled onyx over base, a full 3 feet of ribbed crystal clear fluted glass over the stem, and original chrome finish on metal pieces. The original large mogul(three-way) socket is intact and needs re-wiring, but I will leave that to the buyer because the lamp will be completely disassembled for shipping and the old wire will need to be removed to separate all the lamp pieces. I will label each piece in order of position on the stem for easy reassembly. The condition is very good. But there are a few minor flaws; the chrome finish on the base is worn and has some shallow pitting(shown in the photos) but the finish on rest of the pieces looks good with light spottiness. The glass pieces ... moreare all in very good condition with some possible shallow chipping and staining on tops and bottoms where they fit into brass caps. There are no cracks or other damage. The onyx on the base looks excellent. The lamp measures 60" H x 12" W at the base. And the opening in the top of the lamp for the bottom of a shade to fit into measures 3" W. A shade is not included. All pieces will be wrapped well and insured during shipping.

Antique 4 Light Art Deco ABCO Candelabra Floor Lamp w/ Onyx Base & Tray Table
This is a nice unique vintage floor lamp with tray attached for use as an end table. Four working sockets on top, and an excellent, smooth, shiny, undamaged onyx piece on the base. The three side lights can be lit one, two, or all three at a time by the switch in the middle, and the top socket has it's own switch. I don't have a shade for it, but there is a brass finial on top to attach a shade. The cord looks relatively old(not original) but in good condition. The bottom is marked ABCO and numbered 460. The metal is finished in a bronzy gold color and the tray has a copper finish. Most metal parts have a darkened patina from age, typical wear(light scuffs, scratches, finish loss) and greenish spots of oxidation, but it is in good condition overall. This is a beautiful vintage/antique Art Deco Nouveau floor lamp with alabaster accents and lighted base in absolutely beautiful condition. The pictures really do not do it justice. Stands 64.5" tall. The base is about 12" wide. The lamp is very heavy and weighs approximately 20 pounds. Bronze tone heavy cast metal(not cast iron) ornate base. Stem and ornate shade holder with beautiful light toned cream colored alabaster accents on the stem and base with swirls of brown and red in them. The cream color glass torchiere shade is just under 16.5" wide and made of very thick glass. It is has a floral embossed pattern around the top rim. It is in excellent shape with only some slight chips around the bottom rim where it has rubbed against its fitting into the metal stem which is commiserate with normal vintage/antique wear. NO cracks ... moreanywhere. The base of the lamp has a push button on/off to turn on the base nightlight separately from the top light. Flaws: There is one small chip in the alabaster on the base that is shown in the last picture near the on/off foot switch. There is also some wear visible around the upper on-off switch which is also pictured in the photos. 1920's Vintage Floor Lamp Large Mahogany Base 3 light Tiffany Type Glass Shade
Fabulous. Unique piece of Vintage American Lighting. Original lamp base from the 1920's/30's GREAT GIFT IDEA! This floor lamp should be seen to get the full impact of the massive and unusual base. This is not the ordinary stick type floor lamp that you may have encountered in antique shops or s een in lighting collections from the early 1900's. Although the shade is not original to the base. The lines of it are a lovely compliment to the lines at the base of the lamp. The shade has a crown piece which may be used. But I prefer the look without it. A couple of minor flaws with the shade are noted. These are in the bottom row of the stained glass. One piece is cracked. But secure in its location. Two small triangular breaks in the glass have been repaired. These can be seen in the photos. They are secure in their place and only ... moredetectable upon close inspection. The widest circumference of the wood portion directly above the base is about 44" The lamp stands 5 1/2 feet tall and the diameter of the base is about 14" There are 3 light sockets. Antique Floor Lamp with Pedrara Onyx Base
This is an antique floor lamp with an Imported Pedrara marbled onyx over base. The condition is good. Some flaws; the finish on the base is worn and there are some chips in the paint, but there is no pitting(shown in the photos) There are no cracks or other damage and the light works. The onyx on the base looks excellent and still has the tag that states"Imported Pedrara Onyx" The lamp measures 55" H x 11.5" W at the base. Shipping could be arranged. But it would be expensive.

Hi. Up for sale today is this very cool floor lamp. Really nice vintage look. Lamp has been rewired with cloth cord. Four light lamp. Very top of lamp adjusts for the shade. I think its designed so you can have the candle like lights exposed or not? Not sure. I have given you many pictures for your inspection. Base meas. 10" by 10" I am calling the base green stone, not sure exactly what it is. It does have a couple of chips on it, pictured for you. The lamp is brass plated. Really has a nice look! Very classy and decorative. Cord is approx. 9" long. Lamp adjusts from 67" to 73" at the tallest point. The candle looking sleeves for the lights have some damage, parts of the dripping missing.
