Antique machine age art deco chrome table lamp Chase, Markel era industrial
Up for bids is a fantastic old lamp from a Cape cod estate. It is in excellent original condition with only light wear. It stands about 16" tall to the top of the arm. The shade is about 7 1/2" in diameter. And the base is about 6 1/2" in diameter. The cord is in good shape and free from cuts or splices. The plug is the original bakelite type. The chrome has no rust and very nice luster. A classic lamp. Thanks for looking.

Here we have a vintage Lightolier metal table lamp with smoke plastic bubble shade. It takes 6 bulbs in a circle that has a chrome insert and then black lucite on top and bottom where the bulbs are. It has a clear ball on a pull chain for the off/on switch. The felt is missing on the base and there are 2 bulbs missing. The shade has 4 small cracks where it meets the center pole. Please view all images, they tell more than I can. The whole lamp stands roughly 23 1/2 inches tall and 16 inches across at the shade. The lamp measures 14 3/4" in overall height and is 7 3/4" in height to the bottom of the electrical assembly on top of the polished chrome central stem. The original cotton rag-paper tapered shade measures 10 1/2" in width x 6 3/4" in height. This vintage solid teak Danish Modern table lamp is 100% original and is in nearly perfect condition! The teak body is without nicks. Pushes or abrasions. The teak base is solid wood and is comprised of three separate pieces of wood, joined together with glue during production. There's almost no opening at the seams of the teak base, as is often found on solid teak table lamps of ... morethis type. The central chrome stem, leading to the electrical assembly is nicely polished and in nearly perfect condition. Offered for sale is this absolutely luscious. Drippingly'icy-wet' VINTAGE KARL SPRINGER ERA MODERNIST CLEAR LUCITE TABLE LAMP with FOUR UPRIGHT CLEAR LUCITE FINS. CLEAR LUCITE BASE, CHROME CENTRAL STEM and CLEAR CYLINDRICAL LUCITE FINIAL with ORIGINAL HARP, NON-POLARIZED ELECTRICAL CORD and PLUG. The table lamp measures 34 3/4" in overall height. The base. Until the bottom of the electrical assembly, measures 19 1/2" in height x 8 3/4" in width. the original harp and finial measures 15" in height x 4 1/4" in width. The lucite finial measures 3" in height x 1" in width. This vintage Karl Springer era Modernist clear. Transparent lucite table lamp, borrows heavily from earlier, more angular Art-Deco design, with four separate, upright ascending lucite panels or flat columns dropping down between the ... moretop plate and the bottom plate. They create a kind of'pillar effect' where being transparent, they create a frame or box for the base and allow the viewer to go through and in and out of their stationed positions like sentries, guarding the central core of the lamp. There's only one instance of a pair of very slight scuffs on one of the four panels that are about and inch long and very thin. They are quite minor and are hardly noticeable Otherwise, all the lucite edges and surfaces are highly polished and very reflective and in outstanding condition! The thin central polished chrome shaft had some spotting but was polished and rubbed with Simichrome to lesson this condition of the chrome electro-plating. The lucite finial as well, is in outstanding condition. The wire harp is original to the lamp, as is the non-polarized electrical cord and plug. Even if you are not a big fan of lucite table lamps, this particular one has great design and is exciting to see when it's lit and the ascending flat columns of the four lucite panels reflect and redirect the cast light from above.
