This is an Antique Art Nouvea Metal Table Lamp. The Nude Cherub is almost 14 inches tall. Gold painted. The Lamp weighs about 5 lbs and was made in Paris France. Circa 1900-10 Signed L'Amour Vagabond Par Brocbon. Which translated to english means"The Love Vagabond By Brocbon" It stands almost 30 inches tall. With the glass shades in place. There are two Markings by the maker. See photos below.The hand blown Art Glass Shades, with snake effect overlay, are a yellow gold, they are very old. Antique Brass Glass Art Deco Lamps Sunset Lighting Gilbert Rohde? Tyndale Shades Great pair of lamps. Probably from the 30s or 40s for your consideration. Recently picked them up at an auction. The lamps were made by Mutual Sunset Light Company of Brooklyn, NY. The base has MSLC 4024 on both of them. Some question out on eBay as to whether these lamps were designed by Gilbert Rohde, anyone out there know where that open item can be confirmed or disproved? Your identity will be kept anonymous. The lamps appear to be made of brass and pressed glass. The bottoms above the brass base are also a cube of glass. A couple of chips in the cubed glass on both pieces. Nice pair of Tyndale fabric shades come with the lamps as well. Some of the gold gilt around the lamp needs to be reattached. But all there. Did not plug the lamps in to see if they work. ... moreYou can see one of the lamps has the bottom of the socket missing. There are no shade holders with this pair, piece that runs up from the socket to hold the shade in place. Some corrosion to the brass finish pieces on the lamps. We are pleased to offer this fantastic pair of Art Deco lamps. This antique(c1920s 1930s) pair feature glass bases with dual design cut glass. They include both a cut pattern of a traditional flower and a much more modern. Art Deco"chevron" The glass is cut on the under side with the top or exposed glass being smooth. The pair have very nice, slip on shades. The shades are wire frames with French waterfall styling. The waterfall shades currently house 12 crystal udrops each, but they can hold 18 udrops if you would want to add more. The lamps are petite in size but grand in design. PAIR ANTIQUE ART DECO BEADED GLASS LAMPS FROST TO CLEAR SHADES BLUE CRYSTALS
We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of antique glass lamps. The pair dates to the Art Deco period of the 1930s to 1940s. They feature clear glass. Round bases in elongated beaded design. The bodies are also clear with a beaded accent in the center. The large bobeche has 12 pin holes. The lamps each include 6 long, blue rain drop crystals(one in every other pinhole) This way allows you to see the lamp bodies but you can certainly add more crystals if you prefer. The shades feature frosted glass with clear raised relief pattern of grapes and vines. The tops are also clear with a scalloped border. Though a matched pair, one of the shades is a little"whiter" frosted than the other. You don't notice it unless the lamps are side by side. The lamps are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, etc. The shades are very nice ... moreas well with expected wear around the fitter area. 1930S-1940S ANTIQUE INDUSTRIAL STEAMPUNK FACTORY-OFFICE DESK LAMP WITH DOUBLE-ARMS& NOTE-PAD PLATFORM& ANTIQUE GLASS ART DECO DESIGNED SHADES. This lamp is circa 1930s1940s and has a thick square plug-see pic provided. the double-arm frame is nice with Industrial Machine-age Steampunk sockets marked"Leviton" and sockets holders with circles in them-the socket metal holders have the three original screws in each which are used to hold the shades in place(see close-up pics provided) This is a sort of factory office desk lamp as it has a platform for notepad. Pen, and paper-etc. to be placed on(see pics) with original green felt on it-the felt could be replaced by buyer to freshen up the platform/lamp with a nice navy blue felt pad-it would look lovely-I have left it as it is in original undisturbed condition for the integrity ... moreof the piece so you see that the felt is worn and aged and dusty but is very easy to place a new piece of felt of your choosing(see pics of this feature) The switch to the lamp is located on the front of the platform/base-it is slightly askew and turns on and off well, I have not tried to straighten it. Antique Art Nouveu Lady Table Lamp- Gold with Mica Glass shades
Art Nouveu Sexy Lady Table Lamp with shades circa 1900. Measures 17" high and approx. 13" wide with the shades. I'm not sure if the lamp is brass or pot-metal. The leaves appear to be brass plated metal. The shades appear to be made out of white Mica. It appears to have one maple leaf missing on the right extension that holds the shade, but to me the lamp overall is in excellent condition and is beautiful. Vintage Art Nouveau Cast Bronze Wall Sconces with Painted Uranium Glass Shades
We recently completed a massive reno of our home that took many years to complete as we did much of the work ourselves and took our time searching for'just the right' fixtures at demolition sales. Estate sales etc. In the process, we accumulated more fixtures than we actually needed and are slowly editing our collection through Ebay. This pair of'20's era Art Nouveau styled wall sconces will need to be re-wired. Alternatively. They can be used as candle sconces only. I have not taken out the plug ends which are in the bottom of the bulb holder, but this is easily done by an electrician or handy'do it yourselfer' Measure 11.5" in height and approx. 3.5" wide. 29 x 8.5 cm) Great detail. Note the layered back-plate with arabesque scrolls etc. The curved neck of embossed brass holding the bulb and the graceful ... moreswag of brass below the bulb. The glass shades are opaque with transfer work floral details but I was suspicious of the opaque glass and sure enough, when placed under an ultra-violet light, the shades glowed bright green indicating that they are vaseline or'uranium' glass. For those unfamiliar with uranium glass, they are harmless as the radiation emited is extremely small. Uranium was used in glass frequently up until the'40's when it was needed for industrial and military use. The great thing is however is that uranium glass highly collectible so here you're not only getting great sconces the shades are collectible on their own! For even more variety. These sconces can be used with open candle style bulbs or they can be used with the painted glass globes in place, for a more traditional look. One of the glass shades is'perfect' The other has a small chip in the part which slots into the holder(i.e. unseen when in place) and a crack which can be placed against the wall when in use so it too is not visible. Antique 26" Bronze Patinated Newel Post signed Lamp With Rare Art Glass Shades
I have seen lots of figural newel post style lamps but this one with the art glass shades is over the top. The shades are pink at the opening and fade back to clear. I put some awesome colored lights on it the darken the shade colors and makes this lap radiant. And what a great subject. The farm girl feeding the chicks. Oh my! Signed by Aristide de Ranieri. There is just the statue for sale by another ebay seller. Item number 191259301040. For more than my starting price. This piece dates from around 1890 to 1910. This piece is made of bronze patinated spelter as 95% of the newel post lamps are made. Measures 26" tall and about 21" to the top of the girls head. An excellent larger item. Netherlands Art Nouveau Victorian Style Lamp Handmade Lalique Art Glass Shades
27-1/2" Mahogany Bronze Tone Table Lamp from Netherlands. This lamp is not signed but we believe the sculpture is the work of Korstiaan(known as Kees) Verkade. We discovered this in an old interior design firm that had them boxed up in an attic wrapped in Amsterdam newspaper from the 80s. We could tell the box had not been opened since the time of import. We have several of these to sell in three different sizes and several different styles. Some of them have a KV carved into the bottom side of the base. This one does have a plate on the bottom with the KV! Hand crafted lalique art glass shade made to look like a flower with curling petals.
