The table has the ... moreoriginal Watertown slide mechanism. And was made by Extensole out of Sparta, Michigan. Entirely original, including the brass claw cap feet on pedestals. There are two leaves for this table, making it a 77 inch by 40 inch at its largest(w/the leaves) and 24 x 40 when the leaves are out and sides are dropped. 53 inches with just the 2 sides up. I have easily had 8 place settings when the leaves are in. The four chairs are also solid mahogany. And the pads have a red and green herringbone fabric on them, but they could be popped out and updated with whatever fabric is more appealing to you. The table and chairs do have expected wear on them, but they are truly in good shape. This set was my grandparents' who purchased it in the late 1920's or early 30's. The table has very high luster, and is quite solid, as are the chairs. This is a set you would be able to use immediately. We live just west of Madison, WI. Pick up only.

This set is Duncan Phyfe style and has all the great characteristics of that style. This set contains 1 armchair and 5 side chairs. The chairs have traditional pierced pointed arch splats and ribbed crest rails. Stiles and lower rails. The front legs are straight with spade feet. The seat cushions have been freshly upholstered in a lovely sage green fabric. The ... moretable has a double pedestal with ribbed feet and brass caps. There is one leaf with this table. The tabletop finish is worn in places and the finish has faded to a lighter shade than the leaf. The table and chairs are very solid and sturdy and the overall condition is very good. I do not know the maker or exact date this set was made. This set is antique and will not be perfect. The table measures 30 3/8 inches tall, 40 inches side to side and 60 ¼ inches front to back without the leaf and 72 ¼ inches front to back with the leaf. It weighs 93 pounds. The leaf measures 7/8 inches thick, 40 inches side to side and 12 ¼ inches front to back. It weighs 8 pounds. The armchair measures 35 ¼ inches tall, 23 3/16 inches side to side and 23 ¼ inches front to back. It weighs 13 pounds. Antique Mahogony Duncan Phyfe Dining Table, Chairs China Hutch
This dining room set was my grandmothers. She purchased it in the mid 1940's before I was born. The furniture has been in storage since she passed away in 2004. My taste in furniture is more rustic so I have no use for this furniture and I'm sure she would want me to find someone who would love it as much as she did. The furniture was refinished in 2008 but due to being moved it has sustained a few scratched and nicks. Nothing that cannot easily be repaired. The table is 38" x 72" with the leaf. The leaf is 16" There are some small scratches and a nick on the chairs. The rose fabric was put on over the original green and beige striped fabric. The seat cushion fabric is easily and inexpensively changed. The china hutch is 38" wide and 69" tall it has a small bit of damage to the lower edge. Table dates to 1940's. Table is mahogany and in good condition. There are five side chairs and one arm chair included. All are in good condition. There is one 12 inch table leaf. The buffet is mahogany but has some scratches on top which would require refinishing. Measurements are Table 64 inches long by 42 inches wide. Leaf adds another 12 inches to the length. Top features lovely mahogany veneers and solid legs. Buffet is 21 inches deep. 61 inches long, and 36 inches high. Has original door handles.

Side board, China hutch, Serving tray and stand, Plant stand with marble and copper inserts. Minor scratches and dings from being moved on top of side board and plant stand. Table top refinished, needs top coat of poly urethane. Chairs have been recovered over original gold color. Over all, in very good condition. Hate selling but moving out of state and don't have room.
