Description Vintage French Dining Table with 6 chairs We are so excited to be able to offer you a few exquisite pieces from a local estate. The consignee is moving and felt they could part with just a few things and that makes this your lucky day! This lovely French dining table and 6 chairs was made especially for her grandfather when they lived in France in the 20's and 30's. It appears to be a lovely oak. The pieces are in very good condition. There are a few spots where the finish has been compromised however some TLC would quickly repair most of those. Besides. I think those things add character! Three of the chairs have the original cane seats and three of them have replacement wooden seats but the holes for the caning are still intact. The table is 73" long with the leaf(which is 30" long) 52" wide and 27 1/2" ... morehigh. The chairs are each 38" high at the back and 17" high at the seat. The seats ore 14" in the back and 17" along the front edge. As you can see by the photos. There has been some repair to the underside of the table to make it sturdier. This Berkey& Gay dining set consists of a 3-leaf table. 8 chairs, 1 china hutch, 1 buffet and 1 sideboard. It is made of walnut, with many sections being bookmatched figured walnut- absolutely beautiful. All pieces are matching, and feature the metal medallion used in Berkey& Gay's furniture from the 1920's-1940's. Our best guess is that these pieces were made in the 20's. They're in excellent condition for this vintage. You'll see some very slight damage, shown in the last 4 photos. This elegant dining set came from an Estate in Pebble Beach. Ca. It is believed to be over 100 years old. I can't find much information on the style or age, so maybe someone in Ebay Land can enlighten me. This group is oak and has a beautiful patina finish due to the age and wear. It is in very good condition and has been in the same family for years. The chair seats have the original upholstry tacks and most likely the original fabric. They are also in very good condition with some minor wear. There is a host chair and 5 side chairs. All have high carved backs and the host chair has upholstery on the back as well as the seat. We bought this very nice dining table and chairs at a antique furniture store in Southport. England(about 7-8 yrs ago) when we lived there. It is a very nice solid wood table. May be Mahogany or Walnut not sure(it has a dark stain with a hint of red in it) The Cabriole legs are ornate with ball and claw feet. Carvings of(acanthus) leaves and flowers. The chairs are padded(removable) and have a tan flowered material on them. Chippendale style. The top of the table comes unscrewed from the base. Our family has outgrown the table for 4 and we are now selling it. It has had one of the chair backs broken, but it has been repaired. It has a few dents in the table top wood(no stain missing though) But overall is in beautiful shape. Sorry we do not know more about it. This dining room set was my grandmothers. She purchased it in the mid 1940's before I was born. The furniture has been in storage since she passed away in 2004. My taste in furniture is more rustic so I have no use for this furniture and I'm sure she would want me to find someone who would love it as much as she did. The furniture was refinished in 2008 but due to being moved it has sustained a few scratched and nicks. Nothing that cannot easily be repaired. The table is 38" x 72" with the leaf. The leaf is 16" There are some small scratches and a nick on the chairs. The rose fabric was put on over the original green and beige striped fabric. The seat cushion fabric is easily and inexpensively changed. The china hutch is 38" wide and 69" tall it has a small bit of damage to the lower edge. And they have classic red/brown medium/dark Mahogany stain finish frames. The interesting Table has dual bases with Brass-finish caps on the bottom, and the Chairs have elegant designs on the backs. FABULOUS DINING ROOM TABLE AND CHAIRS BEAUTIFUL ART DECO DINING FURNITURE FROM FRANCE CIRCA 1930s The rectangular table extends out on either end by leaves built into the table When leaves are not in use the table measures 39" x 51" and is 29" tall With both leaves fully extended the table measures 91" x 39" Each leaf is 20" in length. The main table top is free from scratches or damages. The table legs and base are also free of damages. The extensions have some surface scratches that do no detract from the appearance of the table when fully extended. There is a deep scratch on one of the leaves which I have shown in one of the photos. It is located near an edge and is not readily apparent. Six oak chairs with solid pressed and scalloped backs are also included. The backs consist of three layers of pressed and ... moremolded oak and are 1/2" thick. They measure 20" x 14" and the seats are cushioned with padding covered with naugahyde and measure 18" x 16" The chairs are also in very good condition. There is a small nick on one chair back that is not readily detectable and one of the cushions was nicked by something sharp prior to when I bought the set. They can easily be recovered if you would prefer a different look. I believe that with furniture such as dining sets. The scrapes and scratches acquired over the years lends character to the piece. I purchased the set in the exact same condition it is in today. I have owned the set for about 7 years. But for most of that time it was rarely used. Duncan Phyfe style. Double-pedestal, brass claw-footed, dining table with 2 self-storing leaves and 6 upholstered chairs. This set was most likely from the 1940's to 1950's. It was re-upholstered in the 1990's. A marking on the leaves indicates the wood is maple. There is some Tiger Oak on one of the chairs. The table is heavy and sturdy due to the self-storage mechanism for the leaves. It easily seats 4-6 without the leaves. And 6-8 with the leaves. One chair is a captain style with arms and the other 5 are armless. Upholstered in a floral. Leafy pattern in muted colors of green, blue, mauve. Table height is 30" and width is 42" Length without leaves is 62" and with both leaves is 94" Each leaf is 16" wide. Please see photos for details on the pedestal brass claw feet. Vintage WILLETT Drop Leaf Dining Table. Cherry Wood We are parting with this family heirloom. it is a beautiful Table. it has 3 leaves which measure 10-1/2 inches each. If you put all the leaves in the table its 8 foot 3 inches long without the leaves the table is 68 inches long or 5 foot 8 inches long. when folded up as pictured. The table measures 27 by 44 inches Table is 44 inches wide 18 years ago the table and chairs were professionally refinished. And new pad and fabric put on the chairs. now there is some scratches mostly in the chairs.this table only gets used at Thanksgiving and Christmas We also have new table pads which will cover the entire top of table. The table base has classical greek medallions which are brass. The chairs are silk with beautiful tapestry and are in fair to great condition. The seats and arm rests are covered in plastic. But the backs are not. One chair is completely worn across the top and the other three show varying degrees of wear. TIGER OAK ANTIQUE DINING TABLE / 6 CHAIRS COMFORTABLY SEATS 12 BEAUTIFUL
Up for sale today is a beautiful antique tiger oak dining table and six chairs. This table was purchased in the late 1800's/early 1900's by either my great great grand fa ther or my great grandfather(they had the same name) who lived near Chicago. Illinois. This one comfortably seats 12 and will seat more if you care to get closer. I do not know if the chairs are original to the table. They do match and they are the only chairs I have ever seen with the table, but I was not around in the 1800's. The table is in wonderful condition as it has always been used with the original. Thick table pads protecting it and a table cloth over that. My family ha ve always been non-smokers. So there are no burn marks or yellow marks. The table needs a good cleaning, that is all. The chairs show more wear as they don't have protection like ... morethe ta ble. They are still used daily. The cushions have been replaced over the years and are now a fruit pattern. The last picture is of the store label holding the table for my great great grandfather(or great grandfather) This label is still in place under the table top. The table was purchased at Carson Pirie Scott& Co. This is an expanding table with four 10" leaves for adjusting t he size. At it's smalle st. The table is 54" round. At it's largest. It is approximately 94" long. The pads are made in sections so fit whatever size you wish the table to be. Pictures show the table at its smallest. Its largest, and also with three leaves in place. The mechanics for adjustment work smoothly. There are wheels on the base of the table and it rolls easily. Please look carefully at the pictures. This table is well over 100 years old. In my opinion. It shows very minimal wear for its age, but it is not"like new" Please keep in mind that the chairs, having been used for these many years, show much more wear than the table. Old Hickory Dining Table and Chairs - Martinsville, IN
Hi There. I love this old hickory dining table and chairs. As it turns out. I am moving and the set will not fit into our new home. They are stamped with the Old Hickory brand and very old, The chairs were rescued from an old camp when the Indian Guides(dads and sons) were breaking up the cabin furniture for firewood. Augh. The cabins were built in the 1920's so the furniture may be the same age. The table has about 1" cut off one end(see photo) I did not notice it until years later, it is barely noticeable so I decided to not refinish it to match. I have up for auction an antique/vintage dining room set. That is mahogany. It consists of a table, that pulls out to extend on either end, 8 chairs(6 side, 2 captains) and full custom made padded table covers, buffet, the buffet has a lot of nice detail on the side door, the back of the buffet and drawers. There is a stretcher structure that has William& Mary feet. There ar no chips or problems with the wood. The leaves to extend on either end drop down and pull out, there are normal wear on these leaves as they slid back in under the table ends. This came from an estate of a well known Benicia family, Benicia was the original capitol of California. This is in original condition, I have left it in it's original patina. I have had this for 45 years. The side board/buuffet measures: 67" long, 38 1/4 High, 20" deep. Double pedestal table with leaf. 6 chairs. 2 arm(not pictured) and 4 regular dining chairs as pictured. China Cabinent is in stellar condition. Hutch is large and deep and. A few scratches on one side and one on one of the drawers has a gouged area. Table and chairs are not as sturdy as the other 2 pieces but dont need work for usage now. I have had and used for 20 yrs. Apartment livin now and no room. As you see. The hutch can be used as a tv stand or dresser. Is deep. All nicely finished. A few dog scratches in the dining hairs. The chairs have also had a few rods come off. I may have them. The items are in Plano, TX.

1930s era dining table with chairs
Manufactured in Kentucky. This table boasts claw feet, hard wood(most likely it's maple but not 100 percent certain) Has 4 leaves which opens up to 7.5 feet. Sits 8 comfortable but can seat 10. All parts in good condition considering its age. Table includes pads to cover table to all its sizes. Purchased new and owned by one family. The original finish is in rough condition though. The six vintage chairs may need reupholstering. They are not a set, however the chairs most likely from the same era go well with table. Oak Dining Set, Heavily Carved, European French Country-Table and 6 Chairs
First off. We are not furniture dealers. This beautiful antique set has graced our home for over 20 years. Time goes by and we are downsizing, so it's important to us that this set end up with someone who will appreciate its beauty and respect its workmanship as much as we do. We bought this set as a favor to a friend. We do not know how old it is or where it was manufactured. Dealers selling similar pieces on Ebay have used the description Vintage French Country. What we do know is that this piece is very well built. It's all tongue and groove. This set is solid oak with a medium finish. The parquet top is solid. Not veneer. The piece is heavily carved with gorgeous detail. The legs are curved with carved detail. Pictures do not do this set justice. The flaws mentioned are mostly hardly noticeable. We mention the bumps and bruises ... moreso that somebody is not expecting a flawless set. However we highly encourage personal inspection of these items to see for yourself. The dining room set consists of: Dining Table with 2 built-in pull-out extensions and 4 chairs. Extensions slide under the table top when not in use. Table top is solid parquet. Louis XV Style French Dining Room Table with 8 Matching Chairs Extremely Unique and masterfully constructed dining room table and chairs. They were made to resemble Louis XV décor. Made circa 1935. French floral motif Table is made out of mahogany. It comes with two leaves measuring 17.5" each. With leaves installed the table will measure 8' 6" without the leaves it measures 5' 9" S-curve cabriole legs Chairs have custom upholstery. Red and black triangles along cushions. The cushions are removable. Without the cushions the chairs show off a wicker pattern.the chairs are in good condition with minor wear along feet. Back, and arms. One chair needs to be repaired. The wicker is falling off under the cushion(see pictures) Some cushions are missing buttons as well. Featuring: an inlaid border radius corner table top carved fluting along the table rim and the pedestal legs elegant urns on the twin support pedestals ornate lion's paw brass covers over each wheeled table foot The 10 chairs(2 of which are armchairs) are supported on Hepplewhite spade feet. And present very nice detail on their shields. The front bowed edges form a lovely sine curve when the chairs are set edge to edge.
