It looks very nice. If you look closely for flaws. You'll see the following issues. See the pictures. The top cabinet has a few chips to the edge of the vaneer on the left side where it comes in contact with the base cabinet. The finish on the left and right sides has some wear. Kind of like fading or weathering down toward the bottom. This is more visible in bright light. The base cabinet has several scratches on top and one good scrape due to the top cabinet being pushed around when put on top or adjusted over the years. The majority(including the scrape) is hidden by the top cabinet and what emerges out from under the top cabinet faded quite a bit when I applied Old English polish. Check out the pictures. The right hand cabinet door was pulled off and reattached at some point. This can be seen if you're looking for it(see my picture) The door looks fine. 9-Piece Antique Queen Anne Formal Dining Suite Ornate Carved Walnut , Burl Faced
I am pleased to offer for your consideration. This exquisite antique Queen Anne Revival Formal Dining Suite in hand-carved walnut with mirror-matched burl facings. This NINE-piece ensemble includes a China Hutch. Buffet, Table, and Six Chairs. This Suite was manufactured for and sold by Jos. Mendleson, Inc. Fine Furniture, 686 Main Street, Buffalo, New York, and I believe that it dates back to the 1930's-1940's. This Suite is magnificently styled in the Classic 1740's Queen Anne fashion. With sweeping lines, and bowed legs, profusely adorned with hand-carved ornamentation featuring the classical Palmette Anthemion Motif. It is REAL hand-carved wood. And it is masterfully executed! As far as the Condition: The Seat Cushions are the Original Velvet Brocade fabric in the Palmette Motif. And they NEED to be Re-upholstered. In fact, ... morethe previous owner removed two of the cushions and tried to'DYI' Don't worry. they didn't get far with the project. And I have ALL the original seat bases, padding, and even the removed original fabric. I am certain that whoever buys this suite will want to select just the right fabric to work with their decor scheme. The condition of the wood and finish is in surprising good condition. The finish is original.There are some minor little dings and scratches. And yes they are MINOR and few and far between. The worst being on the lower legs of the chairs, and even that is not very noticeable, and a little scratch cover or lemon oil would probably take care of it. The'sheen' of the finish on the China Hutch is a little uneven, sort of'blotchy' but you only notice it at certain angles. Overall I would rate the finish at 90% +. The carpentry is in wonderful shape, both structurally and cosmetically. Everything is tight and solid. I can find no repairs. All the solid brass hardware and fasteners are original. I have for sale an absolutely beautiful antique Berkey& Gay dining set with matching buffet! Please see more pictures at the link below. This is a stunning example of American made furniture. Beautifully built and wonderfully decorated with burled walnut accents. It has a classic. Timeless style that is hard to find these days, a quality that just isn't found in modern furniture any more. I believe this set was made in the 1930's. As indicated by the brass tag used on the inside of the buffet drawer(pictured) The set is in very good condition! Very solid and kept well. There's a few spots of age on the buffet and some signs of use, but for a set that is 80+ years old, it's to be expected. It needs a good polishing and maybe some oil, but obviously it was taken care of. I am selling this set for a family friend. GORGEOUS antique walnut dining set - PRICED TO SELL
I believe this set is walnut. From the early 1900s. Lovely lines and lots of beautiful carved detailing. I have never seen a similar set in many years of antique shopping and estate sales. It really is very unique. The buffet and china cabinet are in very good/excellent shape. Buffet has 2 end compartments with doors and 2 very large drawers as well as a couple of neat hidden drawers. China cabinet has 3 deep shelves and large bottom drawer. LOTS of storage space in these two pieces. Table and chairs are very sturdy and in good condition overall but could some light refinishing(tabletop) and minor cosmetic repairs(some chairs) to bring them to former glory. They are definitely in usable condition as is, I have been using them in my own dining room, but would be even more impressive with just a little work. I love these pieces and have had ... moreso many compliments on this set over the years, just don't have room for them anymore as I am turning this space into an office area. This is a beautiful walnut dinning room set from the 1920-1930’s. This set has been well taken care of and has many great features. The set has a beautiful finish that is original. Has never been refinished. All original brass hardware. Nothing has been replaced. The set has wonderful matching turned legs. This set come from a non-smoking home. TABLE: Measures 59” long by 43” wide by 30” tall with out any leaves. There are 4-9” leaves. This brings the table to a total length of 95” when fully opened. Table has a full pad for any and all of it’s sizes. The leaves and extra pads have a convenient upright crate to hold them. Finish is excellent on main table. Some blemishes on leaves. This table has a 6 leg design for stability. CHAIRS: There are 6 chairs all with padded fabric seats. Fabric in good condition with no stains. One chair has arms ... moreand is the head chair. The chair show some wear. There are some scrapes. Dings and wear to the finish. They are all sound and not wiggly. I would say they are in good antique condition. SIDEBOARD: Is 36” tall by 66” long by 21” deep. There are 2 drawers one with a felt lined silverware tray inside. The finish on this piece is excellent. All original brass pulls. CHINA CABINET: Measures 61” tall by 39” wide by 16” deep. This cabinet has a drawer at the bottom. Locking glass door with key. There is a wood cut out grill work on the glass door. The grill work is original to the piece and in excellent condition. The overall condition of this cabinet is also excellent. Antique walnut furniture Dinning table China cabinet
No expert but believe it to be french provincial. Real nice table with china hutch. There is some holes in the cane on the backing of the chairs. Nothing big but still needs fixed. Also the china cabinet has some marks around the locks. These are easy fix but never had the time to do it. Also it is marked antique walnut on all peices. Size of table is 54" long x 45" wide x 28" tall. Size of china cabinet is 47" long x 18" deep and 64" tall at tallest point. Very nice set and and very sturdy. I do not have the leaf but can be open. It comes with six chairs and table. One china cabinet and still looking for the key. It will have one when picked up. Thanks for looking and happy shopping! The table is 46" x 60" without the leaves and each of the two leaves are 12 inches. One of the two leaves has an apron and the other does not. The hutch is 40 inches wide by 68 inches tall. The sideboard is 66 inches wide by 39 inches tall by 22 inches deep. The set is beautiful for its age. However. Some touch up and/or conditioning maybe desired by the new purchaser. It's my belief that the upholstery is not original and has it some point been changed.

Antique Walnut Round Table Dining Set Gothic Chairs 1900s Post-Victorian Era This set is from the 1900-1910 and is a wonderful piece from the time. The round table is a split-pedestal extension and all five legs sit on wheels. Included are 4 original Wishbone chairs with a sort of Chippendale look. The set is American Walnut. And can be verified by a beam on the bottom of the table stamped"Walnut" as seen in the pictures. Something special I find with this table, is a lock mechanism that places the set right at the start of the 20th century and was very popular then, but isn't found very often with the original furniture. On the handle, the mechanism reads, Perfection Table Lock Pat.Nov.1.04" Condition on the set is fair with visible surface scratches on chairs and table. Some of the chairs have also been repaired on the ... morebottom and have chips and breaks. The table itself looks like it has held up nicely except it has lost one of the wheels. Antique (1910's) SEYER Walnut 9 Piece Dining Room Suite
This Dining Room Suite has been in my family for three generations. Sadly the 4th generation is not interested in it so we are offering it for sale. The suite is currently stored in Campbellford Ontario. The set was made in the 1910-1920 decade in New Hamburg Ontario by the New Hamburg Furniture Company. The set was refinished in the 1990s and was valued at $10.000 without table insert. The original insert for the table has been missing for over 30 years. A replacement was made but it is now missing. The table has a gear trestle for opening and closing. There are six chairs one being a captain's chair with arms. The captain's chair was damaged at the top of the chair back when a young boy carved on it with a bread knife.
