Not really considered antique(100 yrs) It is more commonly called vintage, though I have seen it called antique vintage to attract a wider audience. I was unable to locate any manufacture or date on the furniture other than on the bottom of the chairs which most likely was a re-upholster tag. Although considered common furniture in the 1920s-30s it is an excellent example of detail and craftsmanship. This type of furniture was made by many different manufacturers and sold by many different stores; so finding an exact manufacturer might not be possible. The more common furniture usually was not stamped by any manufacturer. Possibly made from bass wood or common wood. Would like to sell as a group. The entire set is composed of solid woods& burl European walnut matched veneers. The finish is original& the case pieces are accented by painted black line inlays on the edges. Which create a wonderful, dark contrast to the richness& depth of color of the medium to light colored European walnut veneers. The style of the entire suite is in the form of English Regency, and the finish is reminiscent of German Beidemeier furniture. The original hardware is solid brass. Lenoir, North Carolina-the underside of the table is also stamped: Oval Table-Cherry-29-etc. Made of Cherry wood-medium, chestnut brown stain allows for much of the grain in the wood to show. Set consisted of table with removable center piece-5 regular chairs and one captain's chair with arms-hutch and buffet. I bought these 20 years ago and now am getting different furniture. I had the seats professionally reupholstered long ago to match my decor(olive green/goldish print)I have always kept seat pads on the chairs when in use-so the seats are in great condition. Table measures 58" x 40" x 30 1/2" tall-with an additional center piece that measures 12" wide. The Hutch is 47" x 15" x 70" tall. The Buffet is 57" x 17 1/2" x 30 1/3" tall. Overall very nice condition-normal wear for being 84 years old. Some things I would mention are that the wood color of the center piece section is darker than the rest of the table, it was like that when I bought it-possible meant for contrast or maybe because it was stored out of the light)also a slice of the corner wood has broken off as can be seen the the picture-back rt corner of section. Also-a bit of wood had chipped off the top corner of the table leg(tiny but I mention it to be exact-not seen from the top) The legs screw off with attachment bolts to remove them for storage. Also, one chair missing a decorative wood curve on front leg-shown in pic. Also- scratch on table top-6" and 1 1/2"shown in last pic. If I missed something-please ask. The color of the hutch in the first pic is the true color-rich and beautiful. This Berkey& Gay dining set consists of a 3-leaf table. 8 chairs, 1 china hutch, 1 buffet and 1 sideboard. It is made of walnut, with many sections being bookmatched figured walnut- absolutely beautiful. All pieces are matching, and feature the metal medallion used in Berkey& Gay's furniture from the 1920's-1940's. Our best guess is that these pieces were made in the 20's. They're in excellent condition for this vintage. You'll see some very slight damage, shown in the last 4 photos. ANTIQUE DINING SET WALNUT BRICKWEDE BROTHERS These two pieces item were originally purchased in 1941 in Cranford. New Jersey with one owner for many decades. China Hutch/Cabinet Sideboard The China Cabinet is a solid piece with a clear glass panel that highlights fine china and glassware remarkably. Overall height is 74 inches; width is 40 inches; depth is 17 inches. The China Hutch top portion has a single 9 pane glass and wood opening center door with two three paned glass fixed side panels. The Drawer and Storage area has a sliding drawer and two burled walnut doors. All drawer and cabinet hardware is original brass. Inside the Storage Area is an additional full width shelf that is 10 inches deep measured from its back wall. An oval Brickwede brass tag can be found in the top drawer of the China Cabinet which possibly dates this furniture ... moreback to the early 1940's(see Brickwede Bros. notes below or google if unsure. The Sideboard Cabinet is matching and dated with inspection tag from October 1941. Overall measurements are 54 inches long x 17 inches wide x 36 inches high with a front that swerves out as shown in picture. Sideboard has two drawers at top, one full length drawer in middle and three opening doors at the bottom as show in picture. Hardware is original brass and all parts are in working condition. Some of drawers contain original black felt lining. Beautiful construction inside and out. hi here is a beautiful mid century danish heywood wakefield dining room set buffet or sideboard and 6 chairs and the table.this set is in outstanding condition for its age it was purchased brand new by the original owners and they only used it for holiday gatherings so there is very minor ware i went over this set real good looking for any repairs or breaks or splits in the wood and found none just some minor nicks and scratches.the buffet is in outstanding condition with three graduated drawers and a felt silverware drawer and a cabinet with a shelf it is 31 1/2 inches high and 50 1/4 inches long and 20 1/4 inches deep.the dropleaf table is in very good condition with some very minor ware to the legs and the top of the table was protected from the original custom made table mats or pads so there is no scratches or stains the table includes ... moretwo leafs and when fully extended it measures 89 1/2 inches long and with out the leafs it is 65 inches long and the drop leafs it is 42 inches wide and it is 29 inches high from the floor.the chairs are just beautiful although they have been reupholstered at one time and the may have the original fabric under them but im not sure each chair is very sturdy and solid i found no damage to them just some very minor scratches to the legs and dings each one is 30 inches high the seat height is 17 1/4 inches high and they are 18 inches wide at there widest point.when the owners ordered the set they didnt want the arm chairs or captain chairs.this dining room set came from a smoke free house and it is very clean and in outstanding condition and would look great in your home decor.im going to ship this set for free to the lower 48 states through greyhound in 5 boxes i might have to remove the front legs from the chairs so there maybe some easy assembly.i will professionally package the set in a heavy duty cardboard and each piece will be protected with thick packing material i have a 100% feedback rating and i been shipping through greyhound for years and never had a problem please

Antique Early American Oak Dining Room Set Table Chairs Buffet Sideboard & Hutch
Being offered for sale. Is an early American oak dining room furniture set. The set is comprised of a dining table. 6 chairs, a sideboard/ buffet, and a hutch. Below is more detailed information as it pertains to each piece: Table: There is a maker's mark on the inside of the table which reads. B. Walter& Co. Inc. U.S. Patent No. 1736533 26229 Wabash, Indiana. I did not find a maker's mark on the sideboard or hutch so I can't say for sure if they came from the same manufacturer. The top of the table just lifts off. Perhaps was secured at some point. Would be simple to re-secure. Just a few nails/ screws. There are 2 hidden leafs on each side of the table. They pull out and raise up, or push down and retract into the table's body. With the leafs retracted into the body the table measures approximately 62" long, 38" ... morewide, and 30 1/2" tall. Each leaf adds another 17" in length to the table. Which means it can be made to extend up to 96" 8 ft in length. Chairs: There are a total of 6 chairs. One of the chairs has significant damage(broken dowel) Which the rest have light- moderate wear. Structurally, 5 out of the 6 of them are fine. The seats definitely need to be replaced/ re-fabricated though. One of the six chairs is a captain's chair. Sideboard: The sideboard measures approximately 66" wide. 36" tall, and 20" from front to back. It has ornate scrolling on it which matches that of the designs on the hutch. There is a light crack on the front right corner(can be seen in the photos) The doors stick a little bit and could be adjusted slightly. Hutch: The hutch measures approximately 62" tall. 38 wide, and 17" from front to back. The original handles are missing for the drawer on the bottom portion so I put a couple of pulls in their place.
