Rather than calling it a chair I will instead call it a gothic throne- With the beautiful stamped leather seats. take a look at the pictures and you will clearly see why. The carving and the craftsmanship of this throne is nothing short of stunning. The detail is so intricate and incredibly ornate.I believe that it is stained white oak. I've searched the throne over extensively and cannot find a maker's mark or name. I imported them myself from France/Belgium. As I was told, out of a nice clean estate(tags have been removed underneath) High quality leather upholstery that is in very good shape with a distressed finish from years of natural use.
