1930s Hoosier Table with"The Watertown Slide" extention This beautiful old. Unique, antique table is absolutely gorgeous and only has a few flaws as anything this old would. The legs need some work and although the top has been refinished, it shows some spots that are imperfect. This table belonged to my husband's Grandparents. His Mother used to eat dinner on this table every night when she was growing up in the 30s and 40s(she is in her mid-seventies now) The bottom has a plate that says 1932. It's mechanism allowed it to be stored with the table when a leaf(or extention) was not needed. It was called"The Watertown Slide. You simply pull the table apart, push up the leaf and gently push it back together again. There arent very many of these tables around anymore. France and imported to it's current location in Charleston, SC. This high quality solid oak furniture was manufactured somewhere between the 1900 and the early to mid-twentieth century. Solid oak dining room set with intricate wood grain veneer on the front and back of each chair as well as the table's base. Six chairs total. With all parts intact and ready to use. Table is in great condition save for one flaw- some of the veneer on its base has chipped off(see photos) Overall, condition of wood surfaces is excellent and could be perfected through restoration, if desired. Vinyl seats of chairs are functional, with no rips or tears, but could be easily replaced. Comes with two custom-made, heavy oak leaves that are not original but are very meticulously crafted.

TIGER OAK ANTIQUE DINING TABLE / 6 CHAIRS COMFORTABLY SEATS 12 BEAUTIFUL
Up for sale today is a beautiful antique tiger oak dining table and six chairs. This table was purchased in the late 1800's/early 1900's by either my great great grand fa ther or my great grandfather(they had the same name) who lived near Chicago. Illinois. This one comfortably seats 12 and will seat more if you care to get closer. I do not know if the chairs are original to the table. They do match and they are the only chairs I have ever seen with the table, but I was not around in the 1800's. The table is in wonderful condition as it has always been used with the original. Thick table pads protecting it and a table cloth over that. My family ha ve always been non-smokers. So there are no burn marks or yellow marks. The table needs a good cleaning, that is all. The chairs show more wear as they don't have protection like ... morethe ta ble. They are still used daily. The cushions have been replaced over the years and are now a fruit pattern. The last picture is of the store label holding the table for my great great grandfather(or great grandfather) This label is still in place under the table top. The table was purchased at Carson Pirie Scott& Co. This is an expanding table with four 10" leaves for adjusting t he size. At it's smalle st. The table is 54" round. At it's largest. It is approximately 94" long. The pads are made in sections so fit whatever size you wish the table to be. Pictures show the table at its smallest. Its largest, and also with three leaves in place. The mechanics for adjustment work smoothly. There are wheels on the base of the table and it rolls easily. Please look carefully at the pictures. This table is well over 100 years old. In my opinion. It shows very minimal wear for its age, but it is not"like new" Please keep in mind that the chairs, having been used for these many years, show much more wear than the table. This is simply a beautiful. Ornate, hand carved oak dining table made in the Jacobean/Elizabethan era style. It comes complete with 6 matching chairs, one of which is a captain's chair. It has been extremely well cared for, after all it's over a hundred years old! The bottom of the table top has been painted black, so i cannot find any markings that might indicate who made it, or the exact year. It has been reenforced with some sturdier brackets underneith. It's in fantastic shape. Two of the chairs are not featured in the pictures, but are included. The seats will need to be recovered as the threading is coming apart, but all the oak is solid and beautiful. When I purchased this set 8 years ago, I was told this was quarter sawn oak, but I can't confirm this(maybe you can tell by the pictures) The table is 5 feet long by 38 inches wide(two leaves retract under the main table) When the table is expanded it is 91 inches long. This is in good condition with wear for a dining room set of this age. One leaf will need minor adjustments to the retracting mechanism.

The dining room set and breakfront sold together. We imported these pieces from France in 1982. Have had them refinished and re-glued and they are truly beautiful. The Breakfront has date, 1906 and signature of the craftsman. The table can be used as a small dinning table 45"x42" or extended with three leafs( 60"x42" 75"x42" 102"x42" There are six matching chairs. We have used the Breakfront as"The" Bar, shelves have been reinforced, doors have magnetic latches and a faux marble shelf added to the drawer. The Breakfront is two pieces and can be used without the china cabinet as a bar or as a vanity.

The set comes with a table with oak top and extension, and four chairs. All in excellent condition. The chairs each have a few places where the caning is broken but it does not affect their function at all.all of them are incredibly sturdy. Under the table is an old fashion electrical outlet, for plugging in a lamp. I left it there, to keep it authentic but it can easily be removed. The only reason I am selling this is that it will not fit into our new house. This set would look perfect on a porch, deck or in a sun room.

The table without the leaves measures 3-1/2' x 5-1/2' Each leaf measures 3-1/2' x 1-1/2' Which extends the table to 3-1/2' x 8-1/2' The table has 4 column like, pedestal legs. The chairs have burgundy velvet and gold ribbon. The wood on the chairs have spoon carvings near the top. The springs are good in the cushions. The chairs may have been recovered. This set is in good shape. It isn't perfect, but, it doesn't need to be refinished. Heavy, excellent quality, hard to find a set built like this anymore. Please look over the pictures. I believe it is all solid quarter sawn oak(I know table top. Base, and leaves are solid wood) Dates to the early 1900 s(1900-1920) Circa 1910. This table is around 100 years old. Very large 54" round. Comes with 3 leaves(2 original oak and one old fir, each about 11" Ornate base with original caster wheels. Condition is excellent for age. The finish is old and possible original. Some of the screws have been replaced over the years. The 3 leaves each measure about 11" so the table could open to 87" by 54" That will hold a lot of people and food. When the table opens, to add the leaves, but the base stays centered. The 2 original ... moreleaves fit tight and look great, the 3rd leaf is an old fir leaf and fits but is a little thinner wood and has a different graining(usable but you would probably want to use a tablecloth when using all 3 leaves) The table is structurally sound and ready to use. I have a antique dinning room table. I bought it at a estate sale 15 years ago and it came with a matching hutch. I am selling the table without the hutch. The table measures 60" long.38" wide and 30" tall. It comes with two leaves that are under the table and pulls out on each end. It comes with 4 chairs and one captain chair as well so their are five chairs altogether. When I moved it was too big for my dining room. I used it at my store. When I moved from the store I brought it home.I have it stored in my connecting garage but now it needs to go to a good home. There is some scratches.Dings and general surface table top wear. Table has walnut trim inlay.Table is 60" x 42" x 30" H. Sideboard is 66" x 22" x 38 H All pieces match Six chairs. One with arms. Two leaves to expand the table to 7' are shown installed in one photo. Been told its was made around 1900 has Tell City Furnture sticker. Pictures show table with and without leaves(2) inserted. All chairs were reupholstered 2 years ago. No loose joints or structural issues on any of the 8 items. Note photo of one area on the table where the veneer has been partially sanded through. Otherwise all is in perfect condition.

With the leaf the table is an oval and measures 64" by 54" The China cabinet(dishes not included) measures 43 1/2" long x 14 1/2" wide and 61 1/2" tall. The china cabinet still has it's original glass with it's little bubbles in spots which makes it unique. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. Beautiful Oak Table and Six Chairs Description: Early 1900's. Superb craftsmanship. Stunning hand carvings. Banquet-style TABLE has pull-out self-storing leaves. There is green felt attached under table so the leaves don't scratch being pulled in and out. Seats 6-10. There are 6 matching chairs. Originals, 1 armchair and 5 straight chairs. Chairs are covered with a soft blue& green with some pink Monet like print. Original black/brown/white velour seat covers are underneath. Table dimensions: 38" wide x 30" high x 60" long. Not extended and 96" long with both leaves extended Chair dimensions: the back of the chairs are 42" high. You know you have something of quality, because it’s very heavy. We did look this over for a maker’s name and could not find one. Seriously I did a lot of picture looking to find out it was Jacobean. We know nothing about antiques. We saw the table, we loved it, we used it for over 25 years. When leaves are in. The table measures 38 by 62 inches long. There are 2 leaves that pull out on each end, and they are 17 by 38 inches. When these leaves are up and in place, the top becomes approximately 96 inches in length by 38 inches wide. This paragraph was copied from an identical dining set. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR THAT SPECIAL JACOBEAN PIECE OF CHOICE THAT IS TRUE TO THE TIME PERIOD OF THE 1920s. YOU HAVE FOUND IT! ANTIQUE CONSTITUTION OAK DINING ROOM SET 5 PIECES + 4 CHAIRS
This is a stunning solid oak dining room set that's been in my family for generations. Mom& Dad are retiring to Florida so it's time to let this go. All pieces are stamped"Constitution Oak" with a number designating the individual pieces. It is a complete set. Set consists of: 1. Drop leaf table with center drawer 2. Corner hutch 3. Tall boy 4. Sideboard 5. Hutch + 4 chairs. All pieces are in very good condition. Variations in color are due mostly to cell phone camera. However there is some fading on a few pieces. Nothing that can't be restored, I think. No major dings or scratches, but the usual wear and tear from a set that served many holiday dinners so sold AS IS.
