Vintage Red & White Porcelain Enamel Top Kitchen Table Mid-Century 1930's-1940's
Vintage. Retro red& white porcelain enamel-top table with butterfly leaves and utensil drawer. Leaves work extremely well, with no rattle and strong spring action; drawer is solid, has no excess play and doesn't stick. Top shows some signs of wear with some very small, dot-sized, chips at one corner, and there's a worn spot/chip on one leaf that's noticeable. Legs are supposedly chrome. But have the appearance of stainless steel: there's none of the peeling usually seen with old chrome pieces. There is some tarnish, however, and of course need polished, but are sturdy and do not wobble at all. Wooden section of body is strong. Solid with no splits or breaks, but a fresh coat of paint wouldn't hurt. Measures 40" long by 25" wide without the leaves deployed; leaves add 10" each(so 45" wide with both ... moreout) and can be operated independently or together. Unfortunately.
