ANTIQUE FLAME MAHOGANY CHIPPENDALE DINING ROOM SET 1940's or Before
This set includes six MAHOGANY chairs. Two of them are arm chairs. The beautiful china cabinet measures 81" x 48 x 16 deep. The buffet measures 65" x 35 x 21" deep, the server measures 40" x 32 x 19 deep. The solid MAHOGANY table measures 61" x 40" without the leaf. There is one 12" leaf that is self storing under the table, and the table expands to accomodate 3- 4 more leaves if you want to have them made. Two of the chairs had been repaired before I purchased the set. There is normal wear and dings for a set this age, but overall the wood grain is very beautiful and it is a stunning set. This 1940's era table has 2 outside leafs that can fold down to make a smaller table or desk(as I'm currently using it) 38"x29" it is 38"x60" extended. Very sturdy. One leaf has a large surface scratch(12x0.25" it needs to be refinished or covered with a tablecloth. The 4 chairs are sturdy with beautiful needlework seat covers; some dings to the finish, but nothing cracked or broken. The cabinet is the bottom half of what once was a small china cabinet; one large drawer is lined with velvet and the lower cabinet has 2 doors and one shelf. See pix. Up for consideration today is a beautiful antique dining room set! The pictures don't do this set justice! The set consists of a Formal dining table with three leaves. Six chairs and the felt fold out to cover the entire surface of the table. It also has a beautiful china hutch and buffet. Antique Dining Set Circa 1940 Ribbon Back
This is a complete dining set purchased from the original owners which are still listed on the pieces. See photos) Includes china cabinet. Buffet, table and 6 ribbon back chairs. 1 chair has arms. The others do not. They are very solid. As far as is known the material is original. Very light stains which may come clean. I have not attempted to clean for fear of ruining material. The table comes with protective covers as well as a leaf to extend the length. There are some minor scratches to the pieces as seen in photos. They can be easily touched up. This is a beautiful set! Antique 1940's Mahogany Bernhardt Dining Room Set Made in America
For sale is a Mahogany Bernhardt Dining Room set built in the 1940's. American made- North Carolina. It belonged to my Grandmother and my Mother took possession of it sometime in the mid 60's. It has a table. Buffet and 6 chairs. Two of the chairs have arms, four do not. It is in very good to excellent condition with a few minor scratches. The table measures 42' wide by 62' long. It has 3 leaves that measure approximately 11' wide. With the leaves in. The table measures approximately 96' long. All of the pieces for the table have protective felt bottom pads that fold for storage. The buffet measures 35' high by 62' long by 17' deep. It has a contoured glass top for protection. It is a unique set that is very rich decorated with pastel colored flowers. Typical Italian. The base color of the set is creme/ivory. The dining room is from about 1940. Th e beautiful tabel has a glass top(a present of me. So free) but you do not see this in the photos. All decorations is handmade and handpainted. There are some spots of the paint that are a bit worn due to its age. Everything is original with old colors. The set will get a total cleaning. All of the decorations of the set are handmade. Antique Oak dining set 1600's Jacobean Style 1930-1940 Nine Piece
Set includes dining table. 64 in long x 40 in wide x 31 in tall 14 in retractable leaf on each end. Sideboard dimensions are72 in long 21 in deep 39 in high, has a cabinet door on each front end, two long drawers in the middle and one hidden drawer in front middle bottom. China Cabinet dimensions are 40 in wide 18 in deep 64 in tall, has a cabinet door on top and one on the bottom. There are 6 chairs, 5 without arms and one with arms. Very nice solid set. Antique Vintage Mahagony 1930's/1940's Dining Room Set
This set is in its original condition and the woodwork not been restored or refinished. It's in excellent shape for being over 60 years old. That being said. There are a few scratches and waterspots on the legs of the pedestal table, the chair legs and the surface. China Cabinet is 44x14x72 and is in excellent shape with no significant marks. Dining table measures 60 inches by 40 inches wide by 30" tall. It has 3 different 12 inch extensions so that it can extend to 72" 84" or 96" The leaves have noticeable scratches. 6 Chairs are included-4 side chairs and 2 arm chairs. Some of the chairs could use some addition support in the legs and back and in the seat. Chairs were recovered approximately 2 years ago and some could use some more batting/cushion.
