Antique Drexel Heritage Repro Chippendale Mahogany Dining Room Set, Mid Century
This auction is for 14 pieces of antique dining room furniture, which includes 3 table leaves& 2 custom fitted glass tops. The style is Chippendale. The wood is mahogany. This set is from the early 1900's. It was purchased by the current owner in the early 1960's. There is a picture. Which will be included of the original owner) The furniture pieces are a breakfront. Which is dust proof that stands 80" tall(6' 8" It is 54" long and 13" by 11 1/2" on the top and the bottom measures 14 1/2" by 11 1/2" As you can see by the pictures. The first drawer doubles as a writing desk that can be locked. Although there are no keys available. The drawers are dovetailed. The drawer pulls are brass with a fruit theme. All pulls are in very good antique condition. The drawer pulls are the same on the china ... morecloset& the buffet. There is a bit of fading on the right side of the bottom compartments. The owner said that just a bit of lemon oil helps them darken up. The glass on the doors is laid into the wood cut outs. This item weighes about 300 pounds per the owner. The buffet measures 62 1/2" long. It is 36" tall and the depth. On the sides 18" deep in the center 18" deep. The 2 side drawers are lined and segmented for your silver. There is a piece of glass. That was made to sit on the top of this lovely item. This item was also fashioned to be dust proof. Now to the table. It is 66 1/4" long. Without the leaves& 44 1/4" wide and stands 2' 6" Including the depth of the glass. The table is in very good pre-owned condition. There is a piece of cut glass to fit on top. It is richly decorated with handpainted gilt birds and floral elements in a cohesive Asian style. This hutch is 80" high. By 55" wide and 15" deep. The unit has two components: a top half with bays with glass fronts and sides. It has one central glass bay of 25" by 10" and two of 12" by 8" Each bay comes with three glass adjustable shelves. The lower half is of decorated wood in three bay each with one adjustable wooden shelf. This is a striking classic reproduction that blends into a variety of decorating environments. Rare solid wood desk with extending top. Part of the Counterpoint series by Drexel. Designed by John Van Koert. Approximate dimensions 61.5" with the top extended. Top extender pushed in it's 45.75" Width is 25" height 30" This is a mid century modern piece and has been recently refinished. There are 3 small cigarette burns on top the size of the top of a cigarette and another blemish in a dark color approximately an inch squared. There is a gauge on top that is approximately 12 inches, these flaws can be repaired however upon refinishing, I chose to leave them for character purposes. These flaws are reflected in photo#3. We had it in our dining room as long as I can remember. The clock is a light green background with Terracotta accents. The clock used to play Big Ben like the London Clock and can be repaired. There is a 2-shelf storage area in the lower portion of the cabinet. It has 6 matching shabby chic ladder-back dining room chairs; Two with arms and 4 without arms. The cushions have been replaced a number of times and need a good cleaning now or to be replaced. I still have the material we used last time and it will be included with the chairs. Vintage 5 Piece French Provincial King Headboard Drexel Heritage Pained Flowers
Dresser is about 5 foot 6 inches long. 18 inches deep and 33 inches tall. Dresser- The 3 drawers on the left and the three on the right are all the same size on the dresser. The inside measures about 16 inches wide. 14 inches deep and 6 inches tall. The center 3 drawers in the center are larger and the inside measures about 22 1/4 inches wide. 2- Night Stands- measure about 32 inches wide. 15 1/2 inches deep and 22 inches tall. The inside drawers are about 25 1/2 inches wide, 11 1/4 deep and 4 3/4 inches tall. One of the night stands has a stain on the corner( see picture) They also have some discoloration or stains around the inside part of the handle were your fingers would rub when you open the drawers. Not sure if this will clean off or not. The headboard measures about 49 inches tall and 80 inches wide. I believe this is a king size ... morebed. The slots on the feet were you would put the rails on the headboard measure 75 1/2 inches to the inside holes and 77 1/2 inches to the outside holes. The headboard also has some discoloration from age. Again. Not sure if this could be cleaned or not(see pictures) Made of the solid construction for which Drexel is famous. Heritage bedroom set is beautifully painted with flowers and includes large Dresser. Mirror, two nightstands and headboard. In very good condition with a couple of marks and mild discoloration as described above. The inside of the drawers are like new and they slide in an out just fine. This item is for Local pick-up only at the Marine Flea Market in Marine. IL 62061. This is about 30 miles East of St. Louis Mo. For your consideration we are offering this great pair of signed Drexel lattice front nightstands circa 1960s-70s. Overall each measures in at 25"H x 24"A x 17"D. Condition is as follows/ shown(please view all photos. The pics are equal to my description) Both pieces are rock solid and void of breaks, cracks,repaint, repairs, wobbles etc.The original paint shows some wear/ discoloration as pictured(mostly to the top of one of the stands) and overall signs of use(some light scratching, a few nicks) consistent with age. This 9 pc set includes a Pedestal Table. 2 Leaves. 6 Chairs(4 Side chairs and 2 Arm chairs) It was designed and manufactured by Drexel Heritage, a very fine furniture manufacturer. It is signed"Heritage" a very fine furniture company bought by Drexel in 1956. It is also numbered on back"037-335 5- 2" The table is a beautiful mahogany with two gorgeous pedestals and 2 leaves to extend the table. There are two beautiful arm chairs and 4 side chairs with a yellow gold crushed velvet seats and a cane back. The chairs are clean and in excellent condition with no breaks, repairs, stains, or tears. The table is also in excellent condition with only some very ... morelight wear as shown. There are a few minor scratches on the leaves as shown. Overall these pieces were very well cared for and are stunning! This beautiful gem is part of the New Hampton Court Collection by Drexel Heritage(Heirloom) It has a 1957 date stamp on the back and lots of cute accents! It is an old piece of furniture but it is extremely sturdy.
