The wood has scratches and wear but still looks nice(see pictures) The seat and backrest material is worn, dirty, and is torn on some of the corners. We had planned on recovering them before we decided not to keep them. The chairs have"L" brackets added to the underside of each chair to give the seat portion more support. The wooden dowels that cover the screw holes on the sides of the chairs were glued in. When I took these chairs apart to get them ready for shipping, I cleaned the glue off of everything and added a double sided tape to hold the dowels in place when they are re-assembled. What we for auction brought to you by the Grand Antique Mall in Cincinnati. Ohio is this wonderful Mid Century Modern Dining Room Set. The set was manufactured by Mutilplex Modern MFG. by Winchendon of Winchendon, Mass. Designed by Martin Feinman. Circa. 1947. The set consist of a table with 2 leaves and furniture pads. 3 matching Side Chairs. Buffet and China. This is a most unique matching set that is all original and in good condition and designed by the renown Designer. Martin Feinman. The Buffet is 4 pieces that have been mounted as one and has large original castors. The top middle drawer has some finish problems on one of the sides. The beautiful rich mahogany wood showing compliment the two tone affect. The original and most interesting spider handles are chrome or nickel plated and appear to be in very good condition. The secondary ... morewood is maple. The measurements of the Buffet is 60" long. 33" tall on the sides and 19" deep. The separate attached single drawer measures 9" by 24" The matching China Cabinet had two glass tops cut to fit. All original as well including spider hardware and large castors. The inside of the China show a dark painted green inside the glass doors. Not sure if the green is original or not. The 4 original sliding glass doors are in great condition and in working order showing a finger grooved handle for easy sliding. The China consists of 5 attached pieces. 3 on the bottom and 2 on top. Measurements of the China are 72" long by 33" tall(base measurements) 19" deep as well. Top cabinet measures 28 1/2" tall by 12" deep. Overall height is 61 1/2" tall. The Table is structurally very good with some finish problems on top as well. Small blemish areas. The base is complete with some areas that need to be touched up or stained. Probably from the chairs touching. Consistent to age. The Table measures 60" by 40" and 30 1/4" tall without leaves. The leaves measure 12" each. Overall length is 84" with leaves. Th

Retro. Mid century, steampunk, shabby chic.all good words that describe these four chairs Let's be honest now. Could these chairs be any more cool? No, not really. If this is your style, it doesn't get much better than this, even when you factor in the small bits of tweaking this set may require. These chairs look like they would go good in a 1960's decore Overall this set ain't bad. Although there is some damage, most of it could be fixable. First off, you will notice in one of the images that there is damage to the feet of the chairs. Most of the legs on these chairs have missing plastic feet. Next you'll see that there is some puncturing and breaks in the vinal cushions, each cushion image is taken from a different chair, so expect at least two chairs to have bottom cushions in need of patching up, but you were going ... moreto reapolster them anyway. The last really significant negative can been seen in the 11th image. This cushion actually comes off one chairs and it's not supposed to. Upon closer inspection. It looks like the tabs securing the bottom of the cushion to the chair have broken, so that need a repair too. Aside from what was mentioned above, just be aware of the usuall age wear, along with light rust and some general dirt. Such wear can been seen in our pictures of this item. It’s constructed of solid maple—no veneers. It features a rectangular table with x-crossed legs. It also has two bench type seats with x-crossed legs. On the ends are more traditional 4-leg chairs. This is a matched set. We originally purchased this at the now defunct Swank Interiors in St. Paul. Minnesota. We paid substantially more than our opening bid amount. It’s complete and in very good condition. There are a few scrapes here and there. There’s one dark dent on the top. Mid Century Dining Room Set I have a Mid Century Dining Set that I think is from the 40's. It is on the small side. I am not sure what kind of wood it is- It is light in color without much grain. The finish is not super smooth.There is a buffet which measures 48" long. 19" deep and 34" high. The buffet has a velvet tray for silverware. The top has a few minor scratches from wear and the right cabinet area has 2 partical board shelves made for inside it(which someone made for it) The hardware is very unique. There is a cute china cabinet that is 63 1/2" tall, 34" wide and 17" deep. The china cabinet has a glass door that has a wooden grill. It is in great shape. There is a plate rail inside. The table is 48" long with a 12" leaf that fold up underneath making it 60" total when open. It has some ... morescrathes on the finish. I also have table pads for it. There are 4 chairs with cut out backs that match the set, the seat cushions are covered with older green floral fabric. There are also some minor scratches on the chairs. Vintage Mid-Century Modern CONANT BALL STAMPED Dining Room Table & 6 Chairs
Up for consideration is an original vintage CONANT BALL FORMAL DINING ROOM set circa 1940s or 1950s. Near mint condition. Set includes a gate leg table with three(3) leaves; four(4) side chairs and two(2) Captain's chairs. All wood is in the original blond finish, untouched. This particular design for Conant Ball is attributed to Russel Wright, who designed for Conant Ball in the late 30s and early 1940s. This set was produced in the late 1940s or 1950s. Each piece is marked with the Conant Ball trademark, but there is no markings indicating that it is for certain a Russel Wright design. The original blond finish is in spectacular condition and we cannot find any flaws, whatsoever, to report. Either this set received no use at all, or someone really took care when dining. Let's start with the gate leg table(5 legs) Included are three(3) ... moreleaves. Each leaf is numbered and each has hardware latches to make a tight and sturdy fit when in place. Each leaf measures 13" inches wide. So, the table can expand from 62" inches(5' feet, 2" inches) long, all the way up to 102" inches(8' feet, 6" inches) long, depending on how many leaves are used. The table measures 40" inches wide. The chairs consist of four(4) side chairs and two(2) Captain's chairs(arm chairs) They feature a classic, mid-century design and are very sturdy in all cases. Someone made tan cushions for each chair. The cushions are not Conant Ball originals, but are included with the set at no extra charge(three cushions need a bit of stitching at the seams and all could use a cleaning) There are no returns on this heavy piece of furniture. Please ask all questions before purchasing this set. This is as you can imagine quite heavy to ship, and quite expensive to ship. Vintage White Formica No Chrome Kitchen Table & 4 Chairs Dining Set Mid Century
VERY UNIQUE! This is a mid century era kitchen table and chairs set from about 1942. This set does not have any chrome on it- and it was made that way. It is solid wood. Painted white with a white formica top. It is in original condition. The matching chairs have red vinyl padded seats, and are believed to also be original. There are no tears or rips in any of the seats. The tabletop is in good condition with no scorch marks or gouges. It includes a leaf that is also in good condition. I have not been able to find a set like it anywhere online. Most of the sets of this style had the characteristic chrome trim all over them. This is a rare set in good original condition. Local pickup is very much preferred, but I will work with you if you want to send a shipper to retrieve the set. Table is Formica& chrome. The drawer you see pulls out from'under' the table. The table extends with two side parts. It is not a normal drop leaf. You pull the sides out. Up, and lock in place from under the table. To put back you pull them up, down, and push under table. Pic 9 gives you an idea of putting the leaf back under table. Both ways of pulling/pushing is stiff. The legs had no bottoms(see pic 1) I bought the white rubber bottoms to put on table(see pic 12) The table has been cleaned/waxed. hi here is a beautiful mid century danish heywood wakefield dining room set buffet or sideboard and 6 chairs and the table.this set is in outstanding condition for its age it was purchased brand new by the original owners and they only used it for holiday gatherings so there is very minor ware i went over this set real good looking for any repairs or breaks or splits in the wood and found none just some minor nicks and scratches.the buffet is in outstanding condition with three graduated drawers and a felt silverware drawer and a cabinet with a shelf it is 31 1/2 inches high and 50 1/4 inches long and 20 1/4 inches deep.the dropleaf table is in very good condition with some very minor ware to the legs and the top of the table was protected from the original custom made table mats or pads so there is no scratches or stains the table includes ... moretwo leafs and when fully extended it measures 89 1/2 inches long and with out the leafs it is 65 inches long and the drop leafs it is 42 inches wide and it is 29 inches high from the floor.the chairs are just beautiful although they have been reupholstered at one time and the may have the original fabric under them but im not sure each chair is very sturdy and solid i found no damage to them just some very minor scratches to the legs and dings each one is 30 inches high the seat height is 17 1/4 inches high and they are 18 inches wide at there widest point.when the owners ordered the set they didnt want the arm chairs or captain chairs.this dining room set came from a smoke free house and it is very clean and in outstanding condition and would look great in your home decor.im going to ship this set for free to the lower 48 states through greyhound in 5 boxes i might have to remove the front legs from the chairs so there maybe some easy assembly.i will professionally package the set in a heavy duty cardboard and each piece will be protected with thick packing material i have a 100% feedback rating and i been shipping through greyhound for years and never had a problem please

This unrestored all original 1950s vintage aluminum table has two collapsable leaves and has been in the same non smoking family since being purchased. This is the rarely seen apartment version. Full extended the table measures 36 inch along by 16 inches wide. The table stands 30 inches tall. This is not a kids table. Its in excellent unrestored condition with all of its original hardware and fittings including its legs. Hinges and even the original plastic feet under each leg. The aluminum trim is in excellent condition and intact all along its outer edges and will clean up beautifully with Mother's brand aluminum polish. Vintage Red & White Porcelain Enamel Top Kitchen Table Mid-Century 1930's-1940's
Vintage. Retro red& white porcelain enamel-top table with butterfly leaves and utensil drawer. Leaves work extremely well, with no rattle and strong spring action; drawer is solid, has no excess play and doesn't stick. Top shows some signs of wear with some very small, dot-sized, chips at one corner, and there's a worn spot/chip on one leaf that's noticeable. Legs are supposedly chrome. But have the appearance of stainless steel: there's none of the peeling usually seen with old chrome pieces. There is some tarnish, however, and of course need polished, but are sturdy and do not wobble at all. Wooden section of body is strong. Solid with no splits or breaks, but a fresh coat of paint wouldn't hurt. Measures 40" long by 25" wide without the leaves deployed; leaves add 10" each(so 45" wide with both ... moreout) and can be operated independently or together. Unfortunately. The set also includes a buffet or sideboard which measures 60" x 21" x 35.5" tall) and a china hutch or cabinet which measures 44" x 71.5" tall) x 18" deep) All the pieces are in excellent condition except one small scratch on the left side of the left hand door of the buffet and a small chip on the left hand corner of the china cabinet.
