This furniture is circa 1920. Jacobean or Tudor style. Not really considered antique(100 yrs) It is more commonly called vintage, though I have seen it called antique vintage to attract a wider audience. I was unable to locate any manufacture or date on the furniture other than on the bottom of the chairs which most likely was a re-upholster tag. Although considered common furniture in the 1920s-30s it is an excellent example of detail and craftsmanship. This type of furniture was made by many different manufacturers and sold by many different stores; so finding an exact manufacturer might not be possible. The more common furniture usually was not stamped by any manufacturer. Possibly made from bass wood or common wood. Would like to sell as a group. Lenoir, North Carolina-the underside of the table is also stamped: Oval Table-Cherry-29-etc. Made of Cherry wood-medium, chestnut brown stain allows for much of the grain in the wood to show. Set consisted of table with removable center piece-5 regular chairs and one captain's chair with arms-hutch and buffet. I bought these 20 years ago and now am getting different furniture. I had the seats professionally reupholstered long ago to match my decor(olive green/goldish print)I have always kept seat pads on the chairs when in use-so the seats are in great condition. Table measures 58" x 40" x 30 1/2" tall-with an additional center piece that measures 12" wide. The Hutch is 47" x 15" x 70" tall. The Buffet is 57" x 17 1/2" x 30 1/3" tall. Overall very nice condition-normal wear for being 84 years old. Some things I would mention are that the wood color of the center piece section is darker than the rest of the table, it was like that when I bought it-possible meant for contrast or maybe because it was stored out of the light)also a slice of the corner wood has broken off as can be seen the the picture-back rt corner of section. Also-a bit of wood had chipped off the top corner of the table leg(tiny but I mention it to be exact-not seen from the top) The legs screw off with attachment bolts to remove them for storage. Also, one chair missing a decorative wood curve on front leg-shown in pic. Also- scratch on table top-6" and 1 1/2"shown in last pic. If I missed something-please ask. The color of the hutch in the first pic is the true color-rich and beautiful. This Berkey& Gay dining set consists of a 3-leaf table. 8 chairs, 1 china hutch, 1 buffet and 1 sideboard. It is made of walnut, with many sections being bookmatched figured walnut- absolutely beautiful. All pieces are matching, and feature the metal medallion used in Berkey& Gay's furniture from the 1920's-1940's. Our best guess is that these pieces were made in the 20's. They're in excellent condition for this vintage. You'll see some very slight damage, shown in the last 4 photos. Double pedestal table with leaf. 6 chairs. 2 arm(not pictured) and 4 regular dining chairs as pictured. China Cabinent is in stellar condition. Hutch is large and deep and. A few scratches on one side and one on one of the drawers has a gouged area. Table and chairs are not as sturdy as the other 2 pieces but dont need work for usage now. I have had and used for 20 yrs. Apartment livin now and no room. As you see. The hutch can be used as a tv stand or dresser. Is deep. All nicely finished. A few dog scratches in the dining hairs. Table dates to 1940's. Table is mahogany and in good condition. There are five side chairs and one arm chair included. All are in good condition. There is one 12 inch table leaf. The buffet is mahogany but has some scratches on top which would require refinishing. Measurements are Table 64 inches long by 42 inches wide. Leaf adds another 12 inches to the length. Top features lovely mahogany veneers and solid legs. Buffet is 21 inches deep. 61 inches long, and 36 inches high. Has original door handles.

When I purchased this set 8 years ago, I was told this was quarter sawn oak, but I can't confirm this(maybe you can tell by the pictures) The table is 5 feet long by 38 inches wide(two leaves retract under the main table) When the table is expanded it is 91 inches long. This is in good condition with wear for a dining room set of this age. One leaf will need minor adjustments to the retracting mechanism.

The Table is 38" wide, 62" long when extension are put away and 96" with the open extensions. The Side Board is 66" long, 21" wide and about 37.5" high. It has 2 end doors, 1 large bottom middle drawer with silverware holder and 1 smaller center to drawer. It also has a glass top that sits on top of it. There are 6 chairs only 1 has arms. It measures 62" when they are put away. 38" wide and 30" tall. Sideboard measures 72" by 36" high. We have used it well over the years so it does have some dings and scrapes, but still an amazing set. The chair seats were recovered so are not original. Early 1940's dining room set. Mahogany? Not sure but that would be my guess. Chairs are the shieldback style with a floral design. Table has a protective mat included. 6 chairs. All in pretty good shape. Not perfect. But still good. I can take more pictures if there is anything specific you would like to see better. Or you can come take a look in person if you would like. Jacobean antique dining table, chairs, and buffet beautiful, lots of carving
Up for is a beautiful Jacobean oak dining room table. 6 chairs, and a buffet. There are 5 chairs and 1 arm chair. The table has leaves at each end that slide out from under the top. The whole set was refinished at some point and the chairs professionally recovered. There are some small issues with the table top. there is a dark stained area and small area in a corner where the veneer delaminated prior to the refinishing. These should be able to be seen in the pics. I am not sure of the exact age but it is believed to be from the 40's or 50'sPlease feel free to ask any questions. Antique Dining Room Table and Buffet: Huntley Simmons 1934
Solid Oak Table. It's been in the family since 1934. It has minor flaws, you may want to refinish it. It is 60"X42" and has an 18" built in leaf. Table has a latch that you pull to open. Buffet is 66" long by 22" wide and 35.5" high. Very ornate carvings and very heavy. A piece or two are off the bottom of the table but I have pieces. It's a very lovely dinning set. PICK-UP ONLY. I have up for auction. An antique DINING ROOM SET. The set consists of a large table that opens out on either end, there are 8 chairs, 6 side chairs and 2 captains chairs for wither end. There is a matching buffet that has the same wood& pattern. I believe this is Mahogany. There is what is called a stretcher like pattern under the table and the buffet. The chairs are upholstered, there are a couple of different fabrics, could not decide what I wanted to do them in. This came from an estate of a very well known Benicia family. Benicia was the first capitol of Calif. I have had this for 46 years, need to down size. Table measures 30" tall, 38" wide and 6 62" to 94" Long. With the leaf the table is an oval and measures 64" by 54" The China cabinet(dishes not included) measures 43 1/2" long x 14 1/2" wide and 61 1/2" tall. The china cabinet still has it's original glass with it's little bubbles in spots which makes it unique. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. Antique Rockford Dining Room Table/6 Chairs & Buffet
Antique Dining Room table and 6 chairs with buffet. All made my Rockford Furniture Company. I am not a dealer so I do not know the exact age. These belonged to my grandparents and it is time for them to go. The buffet is 20.5 inches deep. 65.5 inches wide and 37.5 inches tall. It is in very good condition(only minor scratches) for its age. The table is shown with one leaf that is 12 inches wide. Without the leaf, the table is 42 x 56 and 30 inches tall. The table leaf has a small chip off the veneer. There is no question the table needs to be refinished. There are 6 chairs. One with arms. They need to be upholstered and they have what I would call a normal amount of wear and tear. I know my grandparents had this set in the early 50s, so you could expect the wear. All the pieces sell together so please do not ask to separate. Obviously Omaha ... morepickup only. No shipping. It is constructed from a superior grade of quarter-sawn oak, and is in original condition, never refinished. It needs some work. The set consists of: Table with 12 chairs. 54" table with tuned legs and cross stretchers. Table expands to eight feet. Two leaves included. Table height is 31" Chairs have inset leather seats. Side chairs are 38.5" high. With trapezoidal seats measuring 18"x14"x17" Captain's chair is 23"x18" Enormous buffet with backsplash. Drawers, bottle cabinets measuring 59"wide x 22" deep x 32"high. Dovetailed and pegged. ... moreSmall companion server with backsplash is 40" wide x 18" deep x 32" high. Matching china/ curio cabinet with half mirrored back and three shelves with rails. Stands at dynamic 61" high x 45" wide x 20" deep. 3 pegs are missing from the shelves of the curio cabinet. All pieces have the same suite number. Doors and drawers all functional. Antique Early American Oak Dining Room Set Table Chairs Buffet Sideboard & Hutch
Being offered for sale. Is an early American oak dining room furniture set. The set is comprised of a dining table. 6 chairs, a sideboard/ buffet, and a hutch. Below is more detailed information as it pertains to each piece: Table: There is a maker's mark on the inside of the table which reads. B. Walter& Co. Inc. U.S. Patent No. 1736533 26229 Wabash, Indiana. I did not find a maker's mark on the sideboard or hutch so I can't say for sure if they came from the same manufacturer. The top of the table just lifts off. Perhaps was secured at some point. Would be simple to re-secure. Just a few nails/ screws. There are 2 hidden leafs on each side of the table. They pull out and raise up, or push down and retract into the table's body. With the leafs retracted into the body the table measures approximately 62" long, 38" ... morewide, and 30 1/2" tall. Each leaf adds another 17" in length to the table. Which means it can be made to extend up to 96" 8 ft in length. Chairs: There are a total of 6 chairs. One of the chairs has significant damage(broken dowel) Which the rest have light- moderate wear. Structurally, 5 out of the 6 of them are fine. The seats definitely need to be replaced/ re-fabricated though. One of the six chairs is a captain's chair. Sideboard: The sideboard measures approximately 66" wide. 36" tall, and 20" from front to back. It has ornate scrolling on it which matches that of the designs on the hutch. There is a light crack on the front right corner(can be seen in the photos) The doors stick a little bit and could be adjusted slightly. Hutch: The hutch measures approximately 62" tall. 38 wide, and 17" from front to back. The original handles are missing for the drawer on the bottom portion so I put a couple of pulls in their place.
