This furniture is circa 1920. Jacobean or Tudor style. Not really considered antique(100 yrs) It is more commonly called vintage, though I have seen it called antique vintage to attract a wider audience. I was unable to locate any manufacture or date on the furniture other than on the bottom of the chairs which most likely was a re-upholster tag. Although considered common furniture in the 1920s-30s it is an excellent example of detail and craftsmanship. This type of furniture was made by many different manufacturers and sold by many different stores; so finding an exact manufacturer might not be possible. The more common furniture usually was not stamped by any manufacturer. Possibly made from bass wood or common wood. Would like to sell as a group. Lenoir, North Carolina-the underside of the table is also stamped: Oval Table-Cherry-29-etc. Made of Cherry wood-medium, chestnut brown stain allows for much of the grain in the wood to show. Set consisted of table with removable center piece-5 regular chairs and one captain's chair with arms-hutch and buffet. I bought these 20 years ago and now am getting different furniture. I had the seats professionally reupholstered long ago to match my decor(olive green/goldish print)I have always kept seat pads on the chairs when in use-so the seats are in great condition. Table measures 58" x 40" x 30 1/2" tall-with an additional center piece that measures 12" wide. The Hutch is 47" x 15" x 70" tall. The Buffet is 57" x 17 1/2" x 30 1/3" tall. Overall very nice condition-normal wear for being 84 years old. Some things I would mention are that the wood color of the center piece section is darker than the rest of the table, it was like that when I bought it-possible meant for contrast or maybe because it was stored out of the light)also a slice of the corner wood has broken off as can be seen the the picture-back rt corner of section. Also-a bit of wood had chipped off the top corner of the table leg(tiny but I mention it to be exact-not seen from the top) The legs screw off with attachment bolts to remove them for storage. Also, one chair missing a decorative wood curve on front leg-shown in pic. Also- scratch on table top-6" and 1 1/2"shown in last pic. If I missed something-please ask. The color of the hutch in the first pic is the true color-rich and beautiful. The entire set is composed of solid woods& burl European walnut matched veneers. The finish is original& the case pieces are accented by painted black line inlays on the edges. This Berkey& Gay dining set consists of a 3-leaf table. 8 chairs, 1 china hutch, 1 buffet and 1 sideboard. It is made of walnut, with many sections being bookmatched figured walnut- absolutely beautiful. All pieces are matching, and feature the metal medallion used in Berkey& Gay's furniture from the 1920's-1940's. Our best guess is that these pieces were made in the 20's. They're in excellent condition for this vintage. You'll see some very slight damage, shown in the last 4 photos. The table is pictured with only 2 leaves in place, the 3rd is leaning against the wall near the china hutch. The Berkey and Gay furniture Company of Grand Rapids. Impressive solid Oak Dining Set consisting of a large Table with six(6) Chairs. A Buffet, and a Court Cupboard, circa 1940. We are pleased to present this vintage Dining Set for your consideration. Dating to the 1930 to 1950 time period. This American set is constructed of solid Oak with gorgeous Burl Walnut decorative veneers. It has an English Jacobean look with a Spanish Revival or Moorish flair, and is sure to attract attention and garner compliments. Hardware is original, with vintage KBC( Keeler Brass Company) drawer pulls. The set consists of the following: Dining Table. Two individual pull-out leaves give this Table enormous flexibility. With both leaves stowed. The Table measures 66 inches in length. With one leave out, the Table extends to 84 inches in length. With both leaves, the Table becomes a spacious 102 inches in length. ... moreIt is 38 inches wide and 30-3/4 inches in height. The Table has minimal age appropriate wear with no damage or significant problems. We rate the overall condition as very good to excellent(see pictures) Six(6) Chairs. Includes one captain(or carver) Chair plus five(5) side Chairs. The top of each Chair has an unusual decorative applied trim piece made of a vintage resin material(see picture#8) We at first thought it was made of wood. But a few spots are worn smooth revealing the true material. All Chairs are impressively ornate, with extensive carved and turned wood. The fabric covering on each is in good shape. We rate their overall condition as very good. Court Cupboard. A tall piece. It measures 65 inches high, 43 inches wide, and is 18-1/2 inches deep. It provides two spacious enclosed cupboards, each with a single shelf, separated by a drawer in the middle. Some water ring stains are seen on the interior shelves, but nothing penetrating the surface. Doors open and close with ease, and the door latches work properly. This is an antique(pre-1950) dining set inclusive of: 3 pedestal table with 4 leaves, 6 chairs. One of which is a captain's chair, 1 buffet and 1 mirror which attaches to the buffet. All pieces are made of mahogany showing rich patina and grain. The set is in good condition. It has been well taken care of as you can see in the pictures. The chairs are just as sturdy as new ones! The table measures 54" long by 43" wide. And it is also a drop leaf, each leaf measures 1 foot, so the table can expand to 102" or 8 1/2 feet long! The buffet is 58" long. 20" deep and 34 1/2" high. I have up for auction an antique/vintage dining room set. That is mahogany. It consists of a table, that pulls out to extend on either end, 8 chairs(6 side, 2 captains) and full custom made padded table covers, buffet, the buffet has a lot of nice detail on the side door, the back of the buffet and drawers. There is a stretcher structure that has William& Mary feet. There ar no chips or problems with the wood. The leaves to extend on either end drop down and pull out, there are normal wear on these leaves as they slid back in under the table ends. This came from an estate of a well known Benicia family, Benicia was the original capitol of California. This is in original condition, I have left it in it's original patina. I have had this for 45 years. The side board/buuffet measures: 67" long, 38 1/4 High, 20" deep. Double pedestal table with leaf. 6 chairs. 2 arm(not pictured) and 4 regular dining chairs as pictured. China Cabinent is in stellar condition. Hutch is large and deep and. A few scratches on one side and one on one of the drawers has a gouged area. Table and chairs are not as sturdy as the other 2 pieces but dont need work for usage now. I have had and used for 20 yrs. Apartment livin now and no room. As you see. The hutch can be used as a tv stand or dresser. Is deep. All nicely finished. A few dog scratches in the dining hairs. We have what we believe is a Duncan Phyfe dining room set. This set includes the table. Leaf, 6 chairs, China Cabinet, and a Buffet. The previous homeowners did not have room for it when they moved and it just does not go with our decor. The table has normal wear on the legs. The top of the table was always covered by a cloth and is in good condition. The pads for the table are available, but not in very good shape because they were in storage. There are six chairs, including the captain. The fabric on the chairs is original and not all stained. The hutch has small wear on the legs also. Few marks on the top of the buffet. Antique Quarter Sawn Oak Dining Room Table, Six Chairs and Buffet/Sideboard
Beautiful oak dining room table. Six chairs and a buffet/sideboard for sale. When I purchased this set 8 years ago, I was told this was quarter sawn oak, but I can't confirm this(maybe you can tell by the pictures) The table is 5 feet long by 38 inches wide(two leaves retract under the main table) When the table is expanded it is 91 inches long. This is in good condition with wear for a dining room set of this age. One leaf will need minor adjustments to the retracting mechanism.

My Mother-in-law bought this set from her sister some years ago and she does not have room for it after downsizing her home. Up for your viewing is a beautiful 10 piece dining room set by Bassett. This was my husbands great aunts that she purchased over 40-50 years ago. She purchased it from a family member. Im not real sure on the age because I dont know how old it was when she got it. It is almost in excellent condition other than some normal wear. It has like a yellowish paint or stain on it. There is a couple of chips on the paint. There is a crack in the glass on the china cabinet. Everything is original. The only thing we think has been redone is the seats on the chairs but we arent for sure. This set is solid and heavy. There are 6 chairs. 2 are armed. They measure 44" tall, 18 3/4" from the floor to the seat, the seat is 21" wide. On the armed chairs, from arm to arm is 24 3/4' wide. The backing is 15" wide. The table is octagon ... moreshape. It measures 30 1/2" tall and 43 3/4" in diameter. It has a leaf that measures 18" wide and 44 1/4" long. So if the leaf was in it would be approx 61 3/4" long. It is marked bassett under the table. The china cabinet sits on the buffet. It is 2 pieces. The china cabinet measures 52 1/4" tall, 58 3/4" wide and 15 3/4" in depth. It has lights at the top. I believe still works. It hasnt been used in some time. The buffet measures 29 1/2" tall, 59 3/4" wide and approx 16" in depth. It has a little fading on the color where the china cabinet sits. The other piece I believe is a server. It measures 42" wide, 30 1/4" tall and almost 18" in depth. This is to be a pick up only. I am happy to answer any questions!

Chairs: two straight chairs and two arm chairs. Arms are interesting split. Buffet and china cabinet have etched mirror panels. China cabinet has three shelves. Top two with plate grooves, and two lower cabinets. Buffet has three drawers(top is divided for silver ware and accessories) and two shelves in right and left lower cabinets. Beautiful antique dining set complete with sideboard/buffet and 6 chairs. Pictures do not show all the detail in this amazing set! Leaves at each end pull out and up to extend the table to 96" long. It measures 62" when they are put away. 38" wide and 30" tall. Sideboard measures 72" by 36" high. We have used it well over the years so it does have some dings and scrapes, but still an amazing set. The chair seats were recovered so are not original. Early 1940's dining room set. Mahogany? Not sure but that would be my guess. Chairs are the shieldback style with a floral design. Table has a protective mat included. 6 chairs. Up for is a beautiful Jacobean oak dining room table. 6 chairs, and a buffet. There are 5 chairs and 1 arm chair. The table has leaves at each end that slide out from under the top. The whole set was refinished at some point and the chairs professionally recovered. There are some small issues with the table top. there is a dark stained area and small area in a corner where the veneer delaminated prior to the refinishing. Vintage Romweber French Table, Chairs, Buffet, & China Cabinet (Burled Acacia)
Beautiful burled acacia wood dining set consisting of a banded dining table with two leaves(with aprons) Two armchairs and 4 side chairs, a large server buffet, and a china cabinet(with gorgeous bubble glass) All pieces have carved knees and other carving as well. The table measures 60" x 42" wide, while closed, and each leaf adds an additional 12-18" I have these put away right now but will try to measure later) With the two leaves it expands to about 7 feet. Due to age(circa 1950-19560) a few of the carved inlays. Are missing but, in my opinion, this does not detract from the beauty/uniqueness of the set. Unfortunately, a few were missing when it came into my possession from my sister, who had gotten it from my parents. Afterall, we are talking about a table that is at least 50 years old and has been moved a few times. This was my grand parents dining room set that I purchased in about 1988 from their estate. My first recollection of the set is from the early 1950s when I as a child. I used it in two homes I owned but it has been in storage since 2008. To my knowledge it has never been refinished.

Complete Dining Room Set includes Table. 2 leaves, 6 chairs(one is a captain's chair) Serving Buffet, and Wall Mirror. Table was built in 1924. Table measures 60" X 45" with out the leaves. Each leaf is 18" and with both leaves in place the table measures 96" X 45" Serving Buffet measures 72" X 22" It has doors on each side of the 3 drawers for dishware storage. Set in good condition for age. The 2 leaves are darker than the rest of the table top since they have been stored. There is a crate that the leaves are stored in and includes the original table pads. Berkey and Gay 1930's Carved Oak Dining Set 5 Chairs Buffet
This oak dining room set bears the make of Berkey and Gay and the Simmons Co. Who bought Berkey and Gay in 1929 and owned the Co thru 1935. The set has been in my Chicago family since the 1930's. Some may call it a Jacobean style, but I think of it as Art Deco. The table measures 60 inches long and 40 wide. There is a built in 18 inch leaf on each end which adds another 3 feet. There are four chairs, the fifth with arms. The seats are covered in a turquoise cotton and are not original, but easy to replace. The buffet stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 3 feet 9 inches across. It has one long drawer and then two shelves inside the bottom drawers and the pulls are original. Because it is at least 80 years old, the set has some chips and could be refinished. For sale is a beautiful Stickley circa 1940's dining set. 6 side chairs and 1 arm chair and a sideboard. It has been very well cared for and is in great condition! Stickley appraised the set in 1997 for $6.570 with the fair market value of $3.650. The set is worth more than this now almost 17 years later. These items are part of the L& J G Stickley Cherry Valley Collection.The pieces are made of cherry(with maple as a secondary wood) and appear to be in the Old Mansion finish. Dining buffet has imprinted patented#1734651. The six chairs and 1 captain chair are#1-7 and have imprinted Stickley Fayetteville- Syracuse. We have found no patented number on the matching table. 100 Year Old Jacobean Style Mahogany Dining Table & 6 Chairs & Buffet
This solid mahogany Jacobean style antique table. 6 chairs, and matching buffet have been in our family since 1970. Prior to our purchase the wealthy owners purchased it new sometime between 1890- 1930. It was refinished in the 1970s but requires repair work. It is a great set for that person that loves antiques and beautiful wood furniture. The table has six large carved legs and the edge of the table top is carved as well. The six chairs have the same carved legs to match. The chairs are able to be recovered with fabric. Currently they are covered in upholstery fabric that is hunter green with tan horses. Because our dining room is sunny the fabric has faded. The beautiful buffet chest is 6 feet wide. 22.5 inches deep, and 37.5 inches tall. It has 4 of the 6 legs are carved to match the table and chairs. There are two cubbies on either ... moreside that is the depth of the cabinet and 16" tall by 14" wide. The two drawers are in the middle and slightly over 36" wide, as deep as the cabinet, and the top drawer is 6" deep with an internal sliding silverware tray. While the bottom drawer is 7.25 inches deep. This one-of-kind vintage dining set would be a great investment for that do-it-yourself project because it will be worth much more refurbished! Measurements: table is 5 feet long. 45.5 inches wide. The molding on the sides of the table is 4.5 inches deep. All 6 chairs can be seated at the table comfortably at the same time. I have up for auction. An antique DINING ROOM SET. The set consists of a large table that opens out on either end, there are 8 chairs, 6 side chairs and 2 captains chairs for wither end. There is a matching buffet that has the same wood& pattern. I believe this is Mahogany. There is what is called a stretcher like pattern under the table and the buffet. The chairs are upholstered, there are a couple of different fabrics, could not decide what I wanted to do them in. This came from an estate of a very well known Benicia family. Benicia was the first capitol of Calif. I have had this for 46 years, need to down size. Table measures 30" tall, 38" wide and 6 62" to 94" Long. With the leaf the table is an oval and measures 64" by 54" The China cabinet(dishes not included) measures 43 1/2" long x 14 1/2" wide and 61 1/2" tall. The china cabinet still has it's original glass with it's little bubbles in spots which makes it unique. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. A restorer will probably want to refinish the top of the dining table. We put the leaves in to show for the picture and were surprised at how the table's finish looked originally. This dining table has 3 bases. Which expand with the leaves. The chairs are a bit wobbly and one has a piece that needs repair. We have also repaired one of the bases but only with screws; not professional woodworking restoration. It is strong and useable. The hutch is in its original condition. A rich brown mahogany drop leaf table is the centerpiece of this beautiful dining set. With leaves down. It is a modest 26" x 42" With its leaves up it is a 66" x42" table. The three brass-pawed pedestals move smoothly on the rack and pinion as the table is opened to receive the 3-12" leaves making it an impressive 102" It has 3/8" thick custom table pads that work in any of the table's configurations. We are including 5 matching chairs with period upholstered seats and simple splayed legs. The mahogany buffet has simple curves in the top that are reflected in the double curved front. The drawers are dovetailed and the 2 felt lined drawers for the silverware have 3 divided sections. The original hardware has oval stamped brass back plates with brass bails. The corner cabinet compliments the set, but ... moreit was purchased later to complete the group. It has glass doors on top, with display shelves including plate grooves. The lower solid door area has two shelves. You might be able to tell from the pictures we are drastically changing the décor of our dining room and Duncan Phyfe does not go well in our new plans. This set has been in our home for nearly 30 years. The revival of this furniture style happened between the 30s and early 50s. This set has been refinished and the traditional red tone was removed giving it a warm brown finish that is quite durable and waterproof.

This is an oversized dining table measuring 48" wide x 60" long x 30" high. Table has five leaves. 2 are 8" and 3 are 11" for a total of 109" in length with all leaves in. hi here is a beautiful mid century danish heywood wakefield dining room set buffet or sideboard and 6 chairs and the table.this set is in outstanding condition for its age it was purchased brand new by the original owners and they only used it for holiday gatherings so there is very minor ware i went over this set real good looking for any repairs or breaks or splits in the wood and found none just some minor nicks and scratches.the buffet is in outstanding condition with three graduated drawers and a felt silverware drawer and a cabinet with a shelf it is 31 1/2 inches high and 50 1/4 inches long and 20 1/4 inches deep.the dropleaf table is in very good condition with some very minor ware to the legs and the top of the table was protected from the original custom made table mats or pads so there is no scratches or stains the table includes ... moretwo leafs and when fully extended it measures 89 1/2 inches long and with out the leafs it is 65 inches long and the drop leafs it is 42 inches wide and it is 29 inches high from the floor.the chairs are just beautiful although they have been reupholstered at one time and the may have the original fabric under them but im not sure each chair is very sturdy and solid i found no damage to them just some very minor scratches to the legs and dings each one is 30 inches high the seat height is 17 1/4 inches high and they are 18 inches wide at there widest point.when the owners ordered the set they didnt want the arm chairs or captain chairs.this dining room set came from a smoke free house and it is very clean and in outstanding condition and would look great in your home decor.im going to ship this set for free to the lower 48 states through greyhound in 5 boxes i might have to remove the front legs from the chairs so there maybe some easy assembly.i will professionally package the set in a heavy duty cardboard and each piece will be protected with thick packing material i have a 100% feedback rating and i been shipping through greyhound for years and never had a problem please
