Up for auction is an antique wood Wilson's Fluted Wobbler. It has a red head a white body. Two flutes are red and two are yellow. It is in good condition with only light wear and scuffing to the paint. It measures a 4 1/2" long and has 3 treble hooks. The Wilson Fluted Wobbler was first made by Hastings which was bought out by Moonlight Bait Co which was then bought out by Paw Paw. This lure could have been made by any of those companies. for auction is just about the best quality antique quartersawn oak dining table that you will find in it's price range. i have some tables that are from 8600 to 25.000.00, but they are horner or roux, meeks, belter, and the like. but for a table of it's class, they do not come much better. i listed it as hastings or better. i do not know the maker, but i can assure you that hastings never made one of this class in a finer fashion. it could be hastings, if not, it is as good or better. it is solid quartersawn oak, has a great form split pedestal with a hidden center support leg. it has a very very nice and very thick contoured skirt that is attached by screws and metal supports that slid into a groove on the table skirt. the top of the skirt has a molded edge which adds that special touch. the feet are fluted to match the great fluted ... morepedestal. anyway, a wonderful table to say the least. it is 52 inches wide and just at 30 inches tall. it has roller bearing original to the the table and center leg as opposed to casters. it opens up to enable an eight foot dining table. there are no leaves for the table. i am sure there were some at some point in time, but when i bought it,none were included. i can make some quartersawn leaves for my cost should anyone have an interest in that. again a great table. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. good luck.

Set of 4 Lion's Paw oak table legs - possibly Hastings 1900-1910
23 3/8" high and 3 3/4" wide at the feet. Holes in the top of each leg are drilled and threaded for 5/16" wood screws. Legs weigh 7.5 lbs each. Total packing and shipping is $75. Legs were stripped and finished with oil based Minwax Woodsheen 12 years ago. Minor chips and holes as depicted in the photos. Nailed on ornamental pieces are 99% intact; one small chip on corner. Hastings fought Chinese pirates at the Battle of Tonkin River in 1849. The plaque on the plinth of this interesting statue reads, Model of figurehead of HMS Hastings, the last of the wooden walls of old England. The original ... morebeing in the Liverpool shipping saleroom of C.W. Kellock and Co. I believe the figurehead is cast in pewter or Brittania metal and was originally silver plated. The plinth is of turned ebonized wood, and the plaques are of brass. The whole is over 7 inches tall and the wood base is approximately 3 1/2 inches wide at the widest point. Nebraska Plastic covers front and back with red binding. 229 pages all intact. I counted 4 loose pages at the front but not damaged. Book is clean and unstained. Pages are yellowed because of its age. No tears or rips and no writing. The original presentation box has a black leatherette lid(paper) with a white bottom. The box shows age and handling and has some issues. Scotch tape on the top corners. But the bottom part seems to be strong ... morealthough it has storage soil.
