Here is a Vintage Brides Basket W/Bowl. The basket is Quadruple Plate and is 1543 Special Metal. The Bowl is a pink color with white dots for a design. I could not find a maker on the bowl or basket. The bowl is in great condition no chip's or crack's does have some scratches and wear on the design display's very well. The basket is tarnished has a bend to it. Normal wear and has scratches. I have no idea if these 2 go together but they look very good together and display very well. The bowl measure's 3" deep and is 7 1/2" across. The basket with handle up is about 8 1/2" high and the inside part where the bowl goes is 8 1/8" across. Shaded Blue Opaline Opalescent Enameled Victorian Blown Glass Brides Bowl Basket
This is a lovely piece of Victorian art glass. I believe it is a bride's bowl or the insert to a small bride's basket. It is in opaline or opalescent glass that is mostly opaque white in the center. But then shades to a very blue and transparent edge treatment. The inside of this bowl has a lot of the blue especially out close to the pure blue edge, but the outside or bottom is mostly just pure white until you reach the transparent blue edge. It is hand decorated in an enameled floral design and has an image of a walking couple in the very center. That image has suffered a lot of wear and is a little faint, but you can still make out the very old attire of the man. His clothing actually looks older that Victorian. It looks more like Colonial American era, so this piece was probably made in the late 19th century and was designed to ... morework on their romantic nostalgia for earlier times. The bowl measures about 6" across and is about 2 3/4" high. It is a blown piece of glass, and has a pontil on bottom. It has a stepped foot with straight sides, and I think was meant to fit down into the silver-plate ring of a Basket. i wish I had the metal part too, but the glass insert is all I have. It is in excellent condition. I picked up several pieces of nice Victorian art glass lately from the home of a dealer. I am selling them in other auctions. You should look at them too.

This is a family piece given as a Brides Bowl back in the late 1800s is a beautiful ribbed yellow gold iridescent glass and is not mentioned as Carnival Glass in the family inventory. The bowl has a beautiful sheen with fluted rise and fall rim. The rim is trimmed in gold guild. The piece looks to have been blown glass. The ribbed pattern is scarce in these early pieces according to the family inventory and notes regarding ... morethis piece. The maker of the item is unknown. As the piece is not hallmarked, however, the collector documented that the piece is thought to have been made by either La Belle Glass Co. or Northwood Glass in the late 1800s. Washington Glass Co. but uncertain of exact age and origin. This Beautiful Victorian art glass Bride's Bowl is hand blown and has high ruffled flounces which is crimped edging. It has Stunning colors of a lush, dark rosy pink which fades into a pale blush pink then into milk white. The pink and white glass is encased inside a layer of clear glass and has clear glass edging around the ruffles. The exterior is white with an smooth pontil mark. Hello. This is a beautiful antique Brides bowl with metal basket. The metal(Unknown, might be pewter) basket stands 12" tall and has a wonderful detailed and ornate design. The widest area across from ball to ball is 12" The bowl is a double crimp ruffle with a clear crest at the top and is a pinkish cranberry color. It has three groups of hand painted flowers with one on the bottom. The flowers are a mix of pink shades with yellow buds, blue petite flowers and green accents. The artist did a wonderful job of paint blending to create the colorful roses. This large bowl is 10" across and 4" tall. The bowl is in excellent used condition and so is the paint. No damage. The metal basket has the patina a basket of this age would display. with no repairs.

Very nice brides bowl on silver plate stand. Stand has damage to the curl under one of the angels causing it to stand slightly tilted. This would require a very slight bend back into the original position. The missing metal is not that noticeable. See photo. Very slight paint damage shown in photo and general wear to gold paint. ANTIQUE CRANBERRY CRACKLE GLASS BRIDES BASKET / CENTERPIECE BOWL
Another unusual old cranberry glass piece for your consideration. This is what I would call true CRACKLE glass- reminds me almost of tiny snowflakes covering most of the bowl except the outer cranberry rim- only the bottom of the bowl actually has the crackle feel. The bowl itself measures about 9" in diameter and 2 1/2" high; 5" with the base attached. When I ran my finger around the rim. I found one tiny sliver on one tip- not even noticeable. I'm not sure of the base metal- doesn't appear to be silverplate, more of just a pot metal- same thing for the screw that anchors the bowl to the base. The metal screw seems to be missing some side prongs. This displays well. Came from an estate where CRANBERRY was the standard. A very pleasing item. I accept Paypal. Shipping to U.S. locations only.

This is a stunning large brides bowl with silver plated basket. The basket is marked F.B. Roger Company and numbered. The silver crest cranberry pink ruffled hand blown glass bowl is very large in size. The bowl has a lovely leaf pattern. The glass bowl measures 12" x 12" and is 4 1/4" deep. The basket stand's 14" tall and 14" wide. There is some wear of the gold on the glass bowl and the silver plated basket need one side of the handle repaired. I see no chips or cracks in the brides bowl. This is a beautiful antique brides bowl with silver plated basket.

Up for your consideration is a stunning Antique Brides Basket Bowl. This piece is probably the most fancy one I have seen. This piece has wonderful detail. It has beautiful brides bouquets with gilted gold for ribbons. It is large. It measures 12" across, the base is 3 3/4" across and it is 3 3/4" tall to the tallest ruffle. To the shortest ruffle it is 2 3/4" tall. The third picture shows the color more accurately then the first two. This bowl is also in mint condition. Antique 19th Century Glass Brides Bowl MT WASHINGTON Fluted Edges
Antique. 19th century, circa 1880-1900 brides glass bowl. The edges are beautifully fluted with the two sides higher than the rest of the bowl. It is a deep rose cranberry color with white cased glass on the edges and underneath. There are blue pansy like enameled flowers with gold leaves and trellises. Measures 9 1/4 by 11 1/2 inches and 4 3/4 inches at its highest point. The bottom diameter of the center base is 1/2 inch in height by 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Great condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. Has a dark, dirt like ring around the backside base along the edge of the round base which may or may not come out but it obviously will not show once the piece is set in a bowl or basket(see pictures) Mentioned for sake of accuracy. The antique brides basket with bowl measures 9 inches high by 9 1/2 inches wide. The ruffled opaline basket weave bowl measures 6 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches high. The silverplated brides basket frame has palm leaves to sides and top of handles. The bottom of holder has decorative floral sprays; please see photos. The Antique Victorian Art Nouveau Brides Basket with bowl is in very good condition with some wear to the silverplated frame. The opaline bowl is in excellent no chips. No cracks. The basket frame is hallmarked Hard White Metal Middletown Plate Co. with scales. There are no dings.No cracks, no hairlines. Beautiful Antique Hobbs. Brockunier& Company Hand Blown Spangle Glass Brides' Bowl I like 5(five) day auctions. Hobbs. Brockunier& Company was issued a patent on January 29, 1884, in William Leighton, Jr.s name(extracted from"The Collectors Encyclopedia ofAmerican Art Glass" by John A. Shuman) This is comprised with mica flakes laid atop of a base color and an added color, and blown out to a desired shape that is encased in a clear top layer. This bowl features an 8 point ruffled edge and sky-blue side walls. Please note that there is a NATURAL blackish mark underneath the top layer in the bowl's bottom that is as-made. The backside shows its usual pontil mark and, of course, typical wear for the bottom due to use. There are NO chips or knicks or cracks or breaks at all. Cased Peach Art Glass Brides Bowl with Enamel Floral Decor
Up for auction is this Victorian cased art glass brides bowl. It has a white exterior and a peach interior with enameled floral décor on both the interior and exterior of the bowl. The bowl stands 4 1/8" tall and is 9 1/2" wide. The base of the bowl is 3 3/4" in diameter. The bowl is in very good condition with no nicks or flea bites.

Up for auction is this fabulous Mt. Washington Royal Flemish Brides Bowl or Fruit Bowl. It stands 3 3/4" high and is approxitely 11" wide. The diameter of the base is 4 3/4" wide. There is a small chip at the top of the bowl and a hairline crack by the chip(appears to be in the interior of bowl only) This identical bowl is shown in the Betty Sisk Book. Page 223 in a Pairpoint frame. The value of the bowl in the frame is shown between $5,000. and $8,000. The bowl has the Chrysanthemum Design.
