We are offering an Antique Victorian pickle castor made by the Rockford Silver Company during the Aesthetic Era(late 1800's, ... moreearly 1900's) It boasts 2 matching tongs and a bright L.G.Wright Uranium jar. This castor is 12 1/2" tall and stands on 4 ornate feet. The jar is in the"Daisy and Buttons" pattern. Normally called"Vaseline" or"Uranium" It glows brightly under black light lamps. This is one of the more stunning vaseline jars I've seen in many years. It glows with natural sun light alone. All the photos provided were taken with natural sun light shining through a nearby window except photo#4. Which obviously was taken with a black light lamp nearby. There are no chips. Nicks, cracks or stains in this jar. The"W" representing L.G. Wright, is imprinted on the inside base as shown on last photo. The lid is probably not original and fits tightly. The silver plating on the tongs. Lid and frame is in great condition and I have no reports of any damage or abuse. Please do not assume I am an expert with the items I sell or that pickle castors are all original or"Mint" Unless specified as such. Many pickle castors on the market from the 1870's to the early 1900's have had parts replaced or changed out, due to breakage, lost tongs/forks or damaged parts. It measures 11" wide, 3" tall and 3 3/4" wide on the bottom.The bowl is in very good condition except for that thr ruffled top has small chip but is not very noticeable. 1.11. It has a polished base with pontil mark. It is highly crimped at the edges and is in good condition. I find no repairs. No cracks or major chips. The only damage I could find is a few small flake chips on the edge of crimps, see photos. This is very minor and basically unnoticeable unless you closely inspect. The bowl comes with a silverplate frame. This is not the original frame but the bowl displayes nicely inside it. This bowl came from an estate of an antique dealer, the tag on the bottom says it is Tiffany and priced a $550.00. I could find no makers or signatures. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN VASELINE & PURPLE GLASS JACK-IN-THE-PULPIT VASE - ENAMEL
Up for auction is a beautiful Victorian Jack-In-The-Pulpit vase or small rose bowl. This is a stunning example. Done in vaseline(uranium) glass and rimmed with deep rich purple. It's also decorated with gorgeous raised enamel decorations of yellow, white and gold. The enamel is in excellent condition. The vase or bowl is about 5" wide and measures about 6" high. It's bulbous in shape with ribbed sides. Under black light. This fluoresces beautifully and glows like a neon light. Victorian art glass bowls such as this were often paired with elaborate brides basket frames(as they are called today) made by companies such as Meriden, Wilcox, James Tufts or Rockford Silver Plate Company. This however was likely made to stand on it's own as it needed no more accompaniment. It's possible that this was made by Thomas Webb ... moreor perhaps one of the famous makers of the late 1800's like S tevens and Williams. Stourbridge or possibly one of the Bohemian makers of the day. American contemporaries of Webb were The New England Glass Co. and Mt. Washington glass houses of the later 1800's. Whoever made it. The design and execution is superb. I find no cracks. Breaks, chips or repairs to the bowl. There does appear to be some very minor remnants of ash in the glass, from the making over a century ago. Other than this condition item to note, the glass is clean and bright and the enamel work again is gorgeous. All in all this is a lovely and charming example of Victorian fancy goods. This bowl has an attractive combination of overlay colors including milk white exterior with a cranberry interior that is accented with a canary vaseline glass crimped rim. Antique Vaseline glass RARE Hand painted Alaska Banana Bowl
Gorgeous Rare Northwood canary Vaseline Alaska banana bowl that has been hand painted with forget me nots. It measures 10 inches across and the width is 6 1/2 inches. The height is3 inches tall. There appears to maybe be some loss of the gold flash on the top ruffle.it is consist and to both sides so I don't know if it was applied like this. No scratches or roughness has the a.k.a. Lions leg pattern. No wear in the painting. Wonderful piece for any collector. Need more pics don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking.

Antique Victorian Cranberry with Vaseline Uranium Art Glass Rigaree Footed Bowl
I am offering a cranberry art glass footed bowl. This bowl has a beautiful double row of applied rigaree around the rim. One of the rows is clear and the other row is topaz yellow vaseline glass. The applied feet are clear. I think it was made in the late 1800's by Webb. But someone suggested that it could possibly have been made by Stevens and Williams. The bowl also has an optic pattern in the glass. It is 4 1/4" x 4" The applied feet are chipped. The rigaree around the top of the feet are also chipped. antique SWEETMEAT Jam dish CRANBERRY art glass Vaseline RIGAREE - England c1880
Victorian Art Glass"SWEETMEAT" Dish in a silver Frame marked"EPNS" A Beautiful Cranberry red glass bowl with Green Vaseline"rigaree" applied around the top of the dish- presented in a fancy Electro Plated Nickel Silver frame. The BOWL measures 3.25" high at the tip of the tallest crimp. 2.5" high at the rim, 3" wide base, 5" wide overall. The sides are straight with a slight flare and if you look closely, you may see just a hint of a rib spaced about every inch or so. There are two rings of green vaseline rigaree- black light tested- the lower is a simple wave style applied about 1" below the rim. The upper more prominent application has 6 points and 6 drapes that fall over the lower band- these are decorated with a"pincered" design. It has a recessed polished pontil on the ... morebase. The FRAME stands 8" tall. Spans 7" across the handles- the inside of the ring measures 3.5" wide- supported on 3 legs that stand 2.5" high. Condition: EXCELLENT- previously owned/used antique art glass- NO chips. Cracks or repairs- lots of teeny tiny bubbles and other"as made" imperfections in the glass that help to date the piece- The marked EPNS frame is Undamaged with a lovely aged antique patina to the finish. No maker's marks found on either piece- appears to have been made in England circa 1880- The glass may have been made by Stevens& Williams or by another of the fine British glass makers of the Victorian era.
