First the measurements: The beautiful ruffled bowl is 8-10 in it's undulations. The metal frame is approximately 9 1/2 wide and 11 1/2 high. I see no flaws in the bowl, no chips, cracks. The frame is in great condition no repairs or blemishes, although there is pitting on base, the part that is covered by the ruffled bowl. The hallmark is clear and it has an engraved number on the bottom. The ingraining on the base is exquisite. This has a pedestal base made of a heavy brass metal. It has a very ornate repousse base with raised floral and scroll designs, twists to the top to form a platform for the basket. The basket is original, it is drilled and fastened to the stand through the base, has a medallion in the center. The base has a nicely aged patina to the brass, gold finish. The bowl is outstanding. This is an emerald green color with a very deep ruffled edge, it has small dots in the glass that swirl around the bowl in vertical ribbons, you can feel the dots on the underside of the glass. Victorian Glass RUFFLED BRIDES BASKET 11" wedding vase cranberry pink
This is an original Victorian-era Bride's Basket measuring about 11" diameter and 4" tall. Originally designed to be held inside a goldtone metal handled frame. It would have held flowers for the bride to carry flowers. This coloring is from a cranberry to pink. This is a hand-blown piece with a ground pontil. Regarding condition: There are two rim chips that you cannot find without feeling for them. They are extremely minor. There are no other chips. Cracks, breaks, or wear. There are the typical maker's imperfections, such as air bubbles, overlay separations. Again, these are hand-blown, and each piece is unique to the Victorian-era maker. Needs washing. This piece would work well with the addition of a flower frog in the center to hold cut flowers or an artificial arrangement or to hold fruit. Beautiful Antique Victorian Brides Basket. Silver plated with pink and white ruffled bowl. all pieces know to be original at least for the 57+ years my mother had it. She got it from my grandmother. I don't know the origin beyond that. The bottom underside is stamped with a clover and then it says plating works. one side of the handle is loose from where it is attached to the base. The glass is perfect no chips no cracks no scratches. The bottom of the bowl which is rough glass has some miner scratches on it.

No cracks. One very small nick/chip on the top side near the side crimping. Very nice condition overall. there is quite a bit of fade to the painted areas on the top of the bowl, approximately 50% has faded. Lovely Victorian Enameled Cranberry Glass Brides Bowl W/ Ruffled & Crimped Rim
Description Offered at auction is a gorgeous Victorian enameled cranberry glass bride's bowl which measures 10" in diameter and is 5" tall. The bottom rim which would fit in a basket is 4" in diameter and over 1/2" deep. The glass has light thumbprint patterning and a ruffled and crimped rim. The sides are decorated with heavily enameled flowers. Branches, leaves and stems in green, pink, lavender, white, yellow, orange and brown. There are also gold leaves and stems. The bowl has a ground base. It is in very nice condition with no cracks or noticeable chips. It has one small(less than 1.4" flake on the bottom side of one ruffle. The enameling has no losses. But there is loss on the gilded trim. The bowl looks fabulous as it stands, but would also look super in a bride's basket frame. Thanks for looking.

Vintage Victorian Glass Brides Bowl Basket Silver Holder Lot Pink & Blue Ruffled
I don't know much about antiques.with that being said I will do my best to describe these! One pink ruffle edge bowl that slowly gets lighter as It fades to the middle. No chips at all! Absolutely beautiful! Blue glass bowl Is see thru. And a gorgeous blue with ruffles that have white on them. No chips at all either. Both have silver holders and I am assuming they are silver plated? Not sure. One is cleaner than the other and could use shining. These bowls are amazing! I was at an estate auction and bought a random box and these were packed in the bottom. I was bidding on the box for what was on top and there beautifies just happened to be there. A very nice antique. Circa 1890's, Molded milk glass bride's bowl shaded to a seafoam green at the top. It is hand enameled with teeny flowers, and gilt scrolls. Measures 4-3/4" tall by 11" diameter, the base 3-5/8" diameter. Glass without chips or cracks, enamels unworn, the gilting is worn from the interior, not worn from exterior.

This brides basket glass insert is not marked by any manufacturer. It is a dark pink edge going to a light pink and then white on the inside with a thin clear edge. The back is mostly white. The edge is a ruffled and crimped style. This is a very thin and fragile glass brides basket insert. It looks to have been hand made with a smoothing grind mark on the base where a hand blown pontil mark would have been. The basket measures 10 1/2" in diameter across the widest part of the ruffles by 8 1/2" across the narrowest part. The base measures 2 7/8" wide in diameter and sits up about 3/8" high. The basket measures 3 3/4" tall at the highest point. The basket is in excellent condition. I have gone over the edge with my hand and eyes and there is no damage. You are looking at what appears to be a Large antique brides bowl featuring cased glass that goes from clear to a translucent white crest. This bowl has a lovely ruffled and crimped edge and measures approx 12" in diameter by 3" to 3 1/2" tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks however. There is a small(flaw) between the crimps and clear base- please see my last picture they are very light scratches. please use the zoom feature to help you see. Very minor! This piece is very unique and the hawk(bird of prey) in the center is handpainted and lovely. We've research this piece and have spoken with friends who are knowledgeable. And we came back to wondering if this piece would have been used like a Victorian Brides Basket with the ruffled glass liner? There is a pontil on the backside of the bowl. Although the dip in the bowl is not as pronounced and as defined as we see other Brides Basket liners. There is not a signature. The bottom edge of the bowl appears to have been repaired? You'll see how the ruffle was pulled forward with the very bottom of the rock being flat. Maybe damage took place and a portion of the ruffled edge was removed to save this piece? All this said. We ... moreinitially wondered if it was some type of lamp reflector with the base purposely being made this way. If you have any information. Please share. Either way, you can purchase this lovely piece and it can be yours for display. It's very unique and the handpainted bird is beautiful. PERFECT as is. No chips. Cracks, crazing or stains. The painting is perfect. In the photo it may appear that there are white chips off the hawk's neck and wing. It's actually white paint. There is one very miniscule spot on the brown rock where it appears paint came off, however, we believe that this probably happened very early on due to a paint dolop being so pronounced. This is a very nice MINIATURE brides basket or bowl. The bowl is triangular in shape. And measures 7 inches across at the widest spot. The pontil is 2 1/2 inches across.
