Place and year purchased will be described if the information is available. The item has been preserved in a well maintained environment for display purposes only. This item is in pristine condition. This item is original and not a reproduction. This is a family piece given as a Brides Bowl back in the late 1800s is a beautiful ribbed yellow gold iridescent glass and is not mentioned as Carnival Glass in the family inventory. The bowl has a beautiful sheen with fluted rise and fall rim. The rim is trimmed in gold guild. The piece looks to have been blown glass. The ribbed pattern is scarce in these early pieces according to the family inventory and notes regarding ... morethis piece. The maker of the item is unknown. As the piece is not hallmarked, however, the collector documented that the piece is thought to have been made by either La Belle Glass Co. or Northwood Glass in the late 1800s. This piece is beautiful and in great condition. There are no chips, cracks, or breaks. The iridescence of the piece is still beautiful. Great blue satin glass with ruffled rim enameled art glass bowl in figural silver plate frame. Great oak leaves and branches silver plated holder in excellent condition. One shallow sliver chip to a ruffle in the glass. As shown, otherwise excellent condition so far as I can see. Very nice quality all around. The glass base is also mounted and fits neatly into the base as photographed. Surprisingly unsigned. Up for auction is a wonderful glass brides basket or bowl or a fruit bowl or compote. It's clear pressed glass in a great diamond or zipper or zig-zag type pattern with a scalloped edge. This is a vintage piece and it could be made by a company like Libby or Indiana. But I'm unsure of the origin or maker. The piece is approximately 9" at the widest outside edge. The bottom has a diameter of 4" at the footed base. The whole thing is quite lovely and could be used as a fruit bowl, a brides bowl or basket or any other use you can think of. Hello. This is a beautiful antique Brides bowl with metal basket. The metal(Unknown, might be pewter) basket stands 12" tall and has a wonderful detailed and ornate design. The widest area across from ball to ball is 12" The bowl is a double crimp ruffle with a clear crest at the top and is a pinkish cranberry color. It has three groups of hand painted flowers with one on the bottom. The flowers are a mix of pink shades with yellow buds, blue petite flowers and green accents. The artist did a wonderful job of paint blending to create the colorful roses. This large bowl is 10" across and 4" tall. The bowl is in excellent used condition and so is the paint. No damage. The metal basket has the patina a basket of this age would display. with no repairs.

Antique victorian brides bowl on stand hp extremely beautiful
Very nice brides bowl on silver plate stand. Stand has damage to the curl under one of the angels causing it to stand slightly tilted. This would require a very slight bend back into the original position. The missing metal is not that noticeable. See photo. Very slight paint damage shown in photo and general wear to gold paint. ANTIQUE CRANBERRY CRACKLE GLASS BRIDES BASKET / CENTERPIECE BOWL
Another unusual old cranberry glass piece for your consideration. This is what I would call true CRACKLE glass- reminds me almost of tiny snowflakes covering most of the bowl except the outer cranberry rim- only the bottom of the bowl actually has the crackle feel. The bowl itself measures about 9" in diameter and 2 1/2" high; 5" with the base attached. When I ran my finger around the rim. I found one tiny sliver on one tip- not even noticeable. I'm not sure of the base metal- doesn't appear to be silverplate, more of just a pot metal- same thing for the screw that anchors the bowl to the base. The metal screw seems to be missing some side prongs. This displays well. Came from an estate where CRANBERRY was the standard. A very pleasing item. I accept Paypal. Shipping to U.S. locations only.

This is a stunning large brides bowl with silver plated basket. The basket is marked F.B. Roger Company and numbered. The silver crest cranberry pink ruffled hand blown glass bowl is very large in size. The bowl has a lovely leaf pattern. The glass bowl measures 12" x 12" and is 4 1/4" deep. The basket stand's 14" tall and 14" wide. There is some wear of the gold on the glass bowl and the silver plated basket need one side of the handle repaired. I see no chips or cracks in the brides bowl. This is a beautiful antique brides bowl with silver plated basket.

Antique. 19th century, circa 1880-1900 brides glass bowl. The edges are beautifully fluted with the two sides higher than the rest of the bowl. It is a deep rose cranberry color with white cased glass on the edges and underneath. There are blue pansy like enameled flowers with gold leaves and trellises. Measures 9 1/4 by 11 1/2 inches and 4 3/4 inches at its highest point. The bottom diameter of the center base is 1/2 inch in height by 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Great condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. Has a dark, dirt like ring around the backside base along the edge of the round base which may or may not come out but it obviously will not show once the piece is set in a bowl or basket(see pictures) Mentioned for sake of accuracy. Beautiful art glass bowl measures 9 1/2"x 6 1/2" with hand painted flowers and bees. Ex cond. No chips or cracks. Believe probably MT Washington but not marked. The very ornate holder is four footed with face in two places and birds. Holder is marked but cannot make it all out. I can make out that it is silverplate and also part of word that loks like Toronto. Silver holder measures 14 1/2" high and 9 1/2" wide with 3 1/4" hole for insert. The bowl fits in tight.

Cut Glass Antique Brides Bowl with Silver Stand
This should be an heirloom piece. It is so beautiful! This bowl has a ruffled/scalloped edge which is frosted 1" down. The rest is clear glass, cut and has buttons on the lower outside area. The stand is either silver or silver plate, unmarked, but the tarnish polishes up. It says Made in England on the stand, but it is missing the spoon. Measures 5.5" tall w/stand, 6.5" at widest point with stand, and the bowl is approx. 1.75" deep. Unfortunately, the pictures can't begin to show the true beauty of this. This beautiful and scarce brides bowl has a cranberry interior and white hobnail exterior. The bowl has a ruffled edge and is 10 inches in diameter and 3 ¼ inches high. It is hand blown and has a polished pontil. We have seen this piece attributed to Hobbs. Brockunier& Co. It would be in their dew drop series. The piece dates to the late 19th century.
