First the measurements: The beautiful ruffled bowl is 8-10 in it's undulations. The metal frame is approximately 9 1/2 wide and 11 1/2 high. I see no flaws in the bowl, no chips, cracks. The frame is in great condition no repairs or blemishes, although there is pitting on base, the part that is covered by the ruffled bowl. The hallmark is clear and it has an engraved number on the bottom. The ingraining on the base is exquisite. ANTIQUE BRIDES BASKET HAND BLOWN GLASS
Lovely Large Hand Blown Glass Brides Basket in a nice Shaded Pink/Rose and White color. The Center inside has a small partial round ring mark where I apparantly had set something a long time ago but not very noticeable but want to mention it and I find NO cracks. There are NO chips on the glass and it is hand crimped on the edge with a clear edge finish(see photo) It has a nice ground pontil which I have also tried to show in the photos. I have no idea what the metal is of this basket holder and there are no markings. I did some polishing on it as it has been packed for quite some time and some polish's nicely and other shows wear so I decided to leave it as is. It is ornate. Shaded Blue Opaline Opalescent Enameled Victorian Blown Glass Brides Bowl Basket
This is a lovely piece of Victorian art glass. I believe it is a bride's bowl or the insert to a small bride's basket. It is in opaline or opalescent glass that is mostly opaque white in the center. But then shades to a very blue and transparent edge treatment. The inside of this bowl has a lot of the blue especially out close to the pure blue edge, but the outside or bottom is mostly just pure white until you reach the transparent blue edge. It is hand decorated in an enameled floral design and has an image of a walking couple in the very center. That image has suffered a lot of wear and is a little faint, but you can still make out the very old attire of the man. His clothing actually looks older that Victorian. It looks more like Colonial American era, so this piece was probably made in the late 19th century and was designed to ... morework on their romantic nostalgia for earlier times. The bowl measures about 6" across and is about 2 3/4" high. It is a blown piece of glass, and has a pontil on bottom. It has a stepped foot with straight sides, and I think was meant to fit down into the silver-plate ring of a Basket. i wish I had the metal part too, but the glass insert is all I have. It is in excellent condition. I picked up several pieces of nice Victorian art glass lately from the home of a dealer. I am selling them in other auctions. You should look at them too.

Antique Small Victorian Brides Basket Bowl End-of-Day Cased Glass Crest -Perfect
Perfect condition unique small antique bride's basket bowl in an end-of-day swirl of cased glass with crest. From an estate sale. The small ruffled& crested bowl measures only 5 inches across x 2 1/4 inches tall, with a foot that measures 1 5/8 inches across. It has a ground pontil and a wonderful swirl of colors: tan, pink, turquoise, brown and white. I've never seen another like this. No cracks, repairs or damage at all. Unknown exact age and origin, as it was purchased at an estate sale. We try to describe each estate item to the best of our ability and show the object from several angles with clear photos. RARE Victorian matched pair of Silver plate holders with rubina verde bowls. This is your opportunity to own a very rare MATCHING pair of silver plate holders with nearly matching Rubina Verde Bowls. The holders features the grape and leaf pattern which flows effortlessly around the holder and the base is simple but beautiful. These holders are silver plate(most of the silver is gone) and not marked that I can find. It is very rare to find a pair of identical holders with the same color bowls. The bowls are a rich deep color on the outside flowing to a paler version of the red and ending in the base of the bowl with a yellow-green(almost custard glass) center. Bowls have no chips. Hello. This is a beautiful antique Brides bowl with metal basket. The metal(Unknown, might be pewter) basket stands 12" tall and has a wonderful detailed and ornate design. The widest area across from ball to ball is 12" The bowl is a double crimp ruffle with a clear crest at the top and is a pinkish cranberry color. It has three groups of hand painted flowers with one on the bottom. The flowers are a mix of pink shades with yellow buds, blue petite flowers and green accents. The artist did a wonderful job of paint blending to create the colorful roses. This large bowl is 10" across and 4" tall. The bowl is in excellent used condition and so is the paint. No damage. The metal basket has the patina a basket of this age would display. with no repairs.

One being the glass manufacturer and the other the metal maker. This Bride's Basket has a superb hand blown fluted glass bowl merging from white to a progressively dark pink around the edge& then hand painted with a decorative border of interconnecting flowers. Unfortunately the gilded line around the interior of the bowl haas all but disappeared with time. ANTIQUE CRANBERRY CRACKLE GLASS BRIDES BASKET / CENTERPIECE BOWL
Another unusual old cranberry glass piece for your consideration. This is what I would call true CRACKLE glass- reminds me almost of tiny snowflakes covering most of the bowl except the outer cranberry rim- only the bottom of the bowl actually has the crackle feel. The bowl itself measures about 9" in diameter and 2 1/2" high; 5" with the base attached. When I ran my finger around the rim. I found one tiny sliver on one tip- not even noticeable. I'm not sure of the base metal- doesn't appear to be silverplate, more of just a pot metal- same thing for the screw that anchors the bowl to the base. The metal screw seems to be missing some side prongs. This displays well. Came from an estate where CRANBERRY was the standard. A very pleasing item. I accept Paypal. Shipping to U.S. locations only.

Beautiful Antique Victorian Brides Basket. Silver plated with pink and white ruffled bowl. all pieces know to be original at least for the 57+ years my mother had it. She got it from my grandmother. I don't know the origin beyond that. The bottom underside is stamped with a clover and then it says plating works. one side of the handle is loose from where it is attached to the base. The glass is perfect no chips no cracks no scratches. The bottom of the bowl which is rough glass has some miner scratches on it.

The light lime green color in the satin glass is very unusual and rare. The flowers are beautifully hand applied. The trim is thick gold and the insides are finely painted. A great ruffled rim treatment is used. The bottom is also numbered and signed. That is something that you do not see often on such pieces! It's a special one! The overall condition is very good. There is one section on the trim where the underside(white) part has been chipped. Both sides are shown in the photo. The full profile is still present. Antique EAPG GLASS BRIDES BASKET LINER Ribbed Ray Sunburst Pattern base
I have been trying to figure out this bowl for some time now. The conclusion I have reached is that it must be a liner for a brides basket. The base is so ornate and unusual. I do not think it was meant to sit on a flat table. The entire bowl measures 9.5" in diameter and 2.5" deep. The base(that would go in the brides basket) is 7 5/8 just under that first lip or rim up from the base. The distance from that rim to the bottom of the bowl is about 1 1/8" I do believe she is old. Probably last part of the 1800's. Probably flint glass. See condition description and photos and thanks!

Cut Glass Antique Brides Basket with Silver Stand
This should be an heirloom piece. It is so beautiful! This bowl has a ruffled/scalloped edge which is frosted 1" down. The rest is clear glass, cut and has buttons on the lower outside area. The stand is either silver or silver plate, unmarked, but the tarnish polishes up. It says Made in England on the stand, but it is missing the utensil. Measures 5.5" tall w/stand, 6.5" at widest point with stand, and the bowl is approx. 1.75" deep. Unfortunately, the pictures can't begin to show the true beauty of this. Peachblow bride's basket dish has a wavy design around the edge with pink coloration around the outside and white in the middle. Back of the dish is solid white. No markings to indicate a manufacturer. This gorgeous dish would make a great addition to any art glass collection! There is some tiny dimples in the glass in between each wave. This was done in the manufacturing of the piece, as are the two blemishes in the middle of the bowl. There is a black dot on the back of the bowl. Light scratching is present.
