The glass bowl is one of the nicest that I have seen. It has fabulous Enamel Decorations, of leaves and floral detailing. It measures approx 12-1/2" diameter. It is in Excellent Condition- I would call it perfect albeit a most minor flat spot on the rim that appears to be a manufacturing nuance, not damage. I have looked at this with a magnifying glass and it is obvious after observing this first hand that it is not a chip but a flat spot somehow done during manufacture. Although extremely difficult to view, I have a pic of the area shown in my last pic. The frame is in Excellent Condition. Made of Quadruple Silver Plate by the Wilcox Silver-Plate Co. It stands approx 10-3/4" tall and approx 12-3/4" across. Both the decorated bowl and the Silver-Plate frame are gorgeous. The item comes direct from the collection of an area advance collector. Sold to me when settling her estate. The underside of the bowl bears a sticker that either she attached or was the sale price back in the day. ANTIQUE BRIDES BASKET HAND BLOWN GLASS
Lovely Large Hand Blown Glass Brides Basket in a nice Shaded Pink/Rose and White color. The Center inside has a small partial round ring mark where I apparantly had set something a long time ago but not very noticeable but want to mention it and I find NO cracks. There are NO chips on the glass and it is hand crimped on the edge with a clear edge finish(see photo) It has a nice ground pontil which I have also tried to show in the photos. I have no idea what the metal is of this basket holder and there are no markings. The Amsterdam Silver Company quadruple plated basket with a marking and number 322- has a lovely ornate handle and measures 13" high x 11" across. The beautiful ruffled-crimped porcelain basket has a wonderful deep cranberry colored rim which fades into a lighter pink and than into a bright white. The ruffled-crimped porcelain basket measures 9" x 11" I see no chips or cracks in the basket. There is a small black spot which looks like it was made at the time the basket was made. This lovely hand blow glass has wonderful color and it is a stunning 100 year piece.

This is a family piece given as a Brides Bowl back in the late 1800s is a beautiful ribbed yellow gold iridescent glass and is not mentioned as Carnival Glass in the family inventory. The bowl has a beautiful sheen with fluted rise and fall rim. The rim is trimmed in gold guild. The piece looks to have been blown glass. The ribbed pattern is scarce in these early pieces according to the family inventory and notes regarding ... morethis piece. The maker of the item is unknown. As the piece is not hallmarked, however, the collector documented that the piece is thought to have been made by either La Belle Glass Co. or Northwood Glass in the late 1800s. It has enameled gold decorations on the outside but has faded and worn from age. The bowl is in good condition, it has no cracks or repairs but I did find two small nick chips on the inside edge rim of the lip, see photos. It is hand painted with orange blossoms and shadowy gray leaves. The bowl is 10.5" wide. It and the silver plate frame are a marriage. That is, the basket doesn't fit down securely within the frame. The frame is marked"Wilcox Silver Plate Co. Quadruple Plate 7610" The frame is about 12" tall. A large amount of the silverplate has worn off. Hello. This is a beautiful antique Brides bowl with metal basket. The metal(Unknown, might be pewter) basket stands 12" tall and has a wonderful detailed and ornate design. The widest area across from ball to ball is 12" The bowl is a double crimp ruffle with a clear crest at the top and is a pinkish cranberry color. It has three groups of hand painted flowers with one on the bottom. The flowers are a mix of pink shades with yellow buds, blue petite flowers and green accents. The artist did a wonderful job of paint blending to create the colorful roses. This large bowl is 10" across and 4" tall. The bowl is in excellent used condition and so is the paint. No damage. The metal basket has the patina a basket of this age would display. with no repairs.

Antique victorian brides bowl on stand hp extremely beautiful
Very nice brides bowl on silver plate stand. Stand has damage to the curl under one of the angels causing it to stand slightly tilted. This would require a very slight bend back into the original position. The missing metal is not that noticeable. See photo. Very slight paint damage shown in photo and general wear to gold paint. Not a distraction from the beauty of this piece. Stands 8"tall, 9 1/2"wide, base is 6" across with angels and 5 1/4" without angels. I have been as detailed as possible. All items are sold as is. ANTIQUE CRANBERRY CRACKLE GLASS BRIDES BASKET / CENTERPIECE BOWL
Another unusual old cranberry glass piece for your consideration. This is what I would call true CRACKLE glass- reminds me almost of tiny snowflakes covering most of the bowl except the outer cranberry rim- only the bottom of the bowl actually has the crackle feel. The bowl itself measures about 9" in diameter and 2 1/2" high; 5" with the base attached. When I ran my finger around the rim. I found one tiny sliver on one tip- not even noticeable. I'm not sure of the base metal- doesn't appear to be silverplate, more of just a pot metal- same thing for the screw that anchors the bowl to the base. The metal screw seems to be missing some side prongs. This displays well. Came from an estate where CRANBERRY was the standard. A very pleasing item. I accept Paypal. Shipping to U.S. locations only.

The basket stand's 14" tall and 14" wide. There is some wear of the gold on the glass bowl and the silver plated basket need one side of the handle repaired. Beautiful Antique Victorian Brides Basket. Silver plated with pink and white ruffled bowl. all pieces know to be original at least for the 57+ years my mother had it. She got it from my grandmother. I don't know the origin beyond that. The bottom underside is stamped with a clover and then it says plating works. one side of the handle is loose from where it is attached to the base. The glass is perfect no chips no cracks no scratches. The bottom of the bowl which is rough glass has some miner scratches on it.

Antique 19th Century Glass Brides Bowl MT WASHINGTON Fluted Edges
Antique. 19th century, circa 1880-1900 brides glass bowl. The edges are beautifully fluted with the two sides higher than the rest of the bowl. It is a deep rose cranberry color with white cased glass on the edges and underneath. There are blue pansy like enameled flowers with gold leaves and trellises. Measures 9 1/4 by 11 1/2 inches and 4 3/4 inches at its highest point. The bottom diameter of the center base is 1/2 inch in height by 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Great condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. Has a dark, dirt like ring around the backside base along the edge of the round base which may or may not come out but it obviously will not show once the piece is set in a bowl or basket(see pictures) Mentioned for sake of accuracy. It consists of cased glass. White on the bottom and a soft blue with hues of violet throughout on top. This gold trim has a standard amount of wear for a piece from this period. If you have gold trim on a Victorian piece that isn't worn, it's a big sign of a fake. Antique EAPG GLASS BRIDES BASKET LINER Ribbed Ray Sunburst Pattern base
I have been trying to figure out this bowl for some time now. The conclusion I have reached is that it must be a liner for a brides basket. The base is so ornate and unusual. I do not think it was meant to sit on a flat table. The entire bowl measures 9.5" in diameter and 2.5" deep. The base(that would go in the brides basket) is 7 5/8 just under that first lip or rim up from the base. The distance from that rim to the bottom of the bowl is about 1 1/8" I do believe she is old. Probably last part of the 1800's. Probably flint glass. See condition description and photos and thanks!
