$10.00 Shipping Location: Lancaster, United States This is a Flint Cobalt 2" Fluted Whiskey Taster or Possibly a Toy Mug with a Handle. A Finished Pontil, ca. 1850-1870s. It is 1 7/8" tall. 1 ... more11/16" in diameter at the top, 1 3/8" in diameter at the base, 2 1/8" from the end of the handle to the edge of the rim, has 10 half-flutes, a 2-part mold, and a finished(fire polished) pontil. It is a deep cobalt with just a hint of purple. It is too small to have a ring to it. There is a little bit of wear to the high points on the base. Some bubbles, a few of which are large in comparison to the glass, some straw marks, a spot to the left of the handle that has 2 or 3 brown streaks of glass that are somewhat marble-like but are too faint to see unless looked at closely, some fleabites around the inner rim as well as some roughness from the mold, and there's a small flake off the upper rim. There are close ups so please take a look at them Other than this, given its age it's in fairly good vintage condition and has no chips, cracks, bruises, fractures, or repairs. Because of the wear around the upper rim it's possible that this is a toy mug for a child rather than a whiskey taster. But whiskey tasters could be this size. So it might have been used as both. As far as color goes. This piece is among the best; especially the thick base. The glass isn't thick enough anywhere else to be able to see the rich, deep, cobalt blue and even there you have to look at it straight on to be able to see the faint hint of red that turns it a tint of purple. That's why even with the small flake on the upper rim, the color of this piece is the reason it has always had a place of honor among my favorite pieces of glass. Up for bidding is this exquisite reproduction of a Boston& Sandwich Glass Co. pattern, Lacy Peacock Feather" It was commissioned to be produced for the MMA(Metropolitan Museum of Art) in New York City, for sale in its gift shop and catalog sales. C. 1960's-1980's. The bowl is 10 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" deep. It is a clear glass with the initials MMA incorporated into the design. please look closely at the photos. 19th C. Boston& Sandwich Glass Co. Flint Blown Pedasteled Bowl W/Ivy Engraving This is a nice early blown flint glass pedasteled bowl with copper wheel engraved ivy around the sides. And a star cut base. It measures 3 1/2" high, and 8 1/8" across. It is in excellent condition with no chips, or cracks, and it has a wonderful ring to it. FLINT THUMBPRINT RUBY CUT TO CLEAR FINGER WASTE BOWL BY BOSTON & SANDWICH 1860s
Check out my other items! A clear flint ruby cut to clear finger or waste bowl in the"THUMBPRINT" pattern. The original manufacturer is attributed the Boston& Sandwich Glass Company. The attribution is based on similar items they were known to cut. Made about 1850-1860s era. The bowl is 3 1/2 inches high and about 4 13/16 inches in diameter. The base has a 16 point cut star. It is in excellent condition free of chips. Nicks and cracks. The bowl is not sick, cloudy, discolored or have chemical deposits. There is some wear on the foot ring(see pics) Also there is a small pot stone in bottom of bowl. A wonderful finger or waste bowl in a popular cut pattern. We ship US Priority Insured. Antique Boston& Sandwich Glass Company Thistle& Beehive heavy pressed saw tooth edge octagonal glass plate. This plate is from the 1830-50 Lacy Period timeframe and is in excellent condition. No cracks. Chips, flea bites, etc. It has been in storage for many, many years. The plates measures 8 5/8" point to point and 8" diameter. Please email me if you have any questions. Antique Frosted Glass Cut Cranberry Rim Serving Bowl ATTR. Boston Sandwich Glass
The main reason this piece was attributed to Sandwich is that I have seen other etched glass pieces with cranberry rims attributed to them. I am by no means guaranteeing this as I am unsure of the maker. It is in nice condition. It does have a stain/mark to the outside and a bit of wear to the interior. It is Leaded or Flint Glass.

Pair of r are EAPG nut Bowls or dishes. Dated to mid 19th century. Attributed to Boston Sandwich Glass Co. The bowls made off clear glass in cable pattern. They stand 2" high; 3 1/2" in diameter at the opening. Both pieces are in excellent condition. With no chips or cracks.

Rare EAPG lidded Bowl. Dated to mid 19th century. Attributed to Boston Sandwich Glass Co. The bowl made in amethyst tinted glass in cable pattern. The Bowl stands 6 1/2" high to the top of the finial/handle. It is 6 1/2" in diameter at the opening. Both pieces, lid and bowl, are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
