There are some light scratches from use. I believe it dates from the mid 1800s from what I could find from research. The deep blue is lovely. 2 pc Blue Stretch Glass 10" Bowl w/ Black Base ~ Art Deco Fenton
Beautiful dark blue stretch glass iridescent bowl measuring 10 3/8" across x 4 1/2" high- not including the base. This is darker and more iridescent than the stretch bowls I normally see and it seems to be better quality. It's so much prettier than it appears in the photo- it was cloudy& dark out today and I couldn't get a decent photo. There are no chips or cracks in the bowl or base although there is just the tiniest bit of roughness on the bottom of the base- truly not a big deal. I'm thinking this is probably a Fenton piece although I know Northwood& others also made stretch glass. The 2 pieces are very heavy(about 6 lbs unpacked) so s/h will be $16.95 in the continental US- others can email for costs.

Here is a very pretty vintage art glass bowl in the blue opalescent hobnail pattern from Fenton. This pattern was produced during the mid-century around the 1940's-50's. It measures 10" across and 4" deep. It has a double crimped edge that is translucent at the very end of rim. There are no nicks. Chips, cracks or scratches that I can see. It will need a little bit more detailed cleaning in the rim area. It looks to be in pretty much perfect looking condition. Priority shipping and handling includes delivery confirmation in the USA. Shaded Blue Opaline Opalescent Enameled Victorian Blown Glass Brides Bowl Basket
This is a lovely piece of Victorian art glass. I believe it is a bride's bowl or the insert to a small bride's basket. It is in opaline or opalescent glass that is mostly opaque white in the center. But then shades to a very blue and transparent edge treatment. The inside of this bowl has a lot of the blue especially out close to the pure blue edge, but the outside or bottom is mostly just pure white until you reach the transparent blue edge. It is hand decorated in an enameled floral design and has an image of a walking couple in the very center. That image has suffered a lot of wear and is a little faint, but you can still make out the very old attire of the man. His clothing actually looks older that Victorian. It looks more like Colonial American era, so this piece was probably made in the late 19th century and was designed to ... morework on their romantic nostalgia for earlier times. The bowl measures about 6" across and is about 2 3/4" high. It is a blown piece of glass, and has a pontil on bottom. It has a stepped foot with straight sides, and I think was meant to fit down into the silver-plate ring of a Basket. i wish I had the metal part too, but the glass insert is all I have. It is in excellent condition. I picked up several pieces of nice Victorian art glass lately from the home of a dealer. I am selling them in other auctions. You should look at them too.

Large Antique Painted Black & Blue Glass Bowl
Large painted glass bowl. Circa 1930s, but possibly earlier. Bowl measures just over 3 1/2" high, and is a little over 11" wide at top, tapering down to about 4 1/2" at the base. Such a calming transluscent shade of pale sky-blue painted on the glass exterior. An opaque one-inch black band is also painted on the exterior. Along the rim. Using this black band as a background, the interior rim is adorned with a metallic gold stylized leaf/vine pattern, and dotted red berries. Base of bowl is clear. The perfect bowl for fruit on your counter. Given it's age. The condition is pretty good. Glass has no cracks or fractures, just some signs of wear at the base. Blue paint on exterior does show signs of wear(some areas where the paint has been worn/scratched/scraped from surface) and the interior metallic gold pattern is rubbed ... moreoff a bit in some places— but these signs of age really add to the overall charm of this beauty. NOTE: Given its age. It is recommended that you do not place this bowl in dishwasher. Please wash by hand only.

Lovely Gold Aurene Art Glass Finger Bowl, w Subtle Blue Edge.
5-1/8" diameter x 2" tall. Gold aurene, floraform, finger bowl. The extreme top edge has a blue cast. Pontil is ground and polished. It is unmarked. Very well have been made by one of the famous, early 20th century glass houses, but because of the small imperfections was not signed. Condition: There are no chips. Cracks, or other damage, BUT there are several pinpoint sized ash inclusions, on the inside bottom, and on the base near the pontil. Still very pretty. Up for auction is a lovely antique Victorian period blue satin glass rose bowl c. 1880-1900. It is a beautiful turquoise blue color. Cased white on the inside. It has a crimped upper rim and pontil mark on the bottom. In the late Victorian period(1880-1900) rose bowls were made to hold assorted rose petals to create a visual and fragrant decorative accessory(similar to potpourri today) Found at a local estate. Stands 4" tall. 4" widest diameter. A beautiful and useful piece! Good condition- no chips or cracks. There are a couple of bubble marks in the glass itself. Tri-cornered rim is unevenly pulled and pinched-one side is a bit longer. Almost creating a handled effect-definitely handmade. The ruffled rim is turned in at intervals. Along the bottom, encircling the rough pontil, is a hand-applied rigaree design shaped into 5 distinct scalloped feet done in canary yellow Vaseline-picture 6 shows the neon glow when lit with a blacklight. Also visible in the pictures are dark specks inside the bowl-these are flaws in the glass where dirt got into the mold while it was being blown. While not too attractive, ... moreit's actually common and can distinguish antique glass from newer items. The body appears white in the pictures, but that's mostly due to the flash. The glass is actually a soft robin egg's blue. Measures 3.5" by 5" across and rings like a bell when tapped. Nice antique piece will be s hipped within five business days of receiving payment. Best guess British by this registration mark but it could also be an early piece of Northwood as Northwood did study in England before starting up operations in North America. ANTIQUE NEW ENGLAND GLASS COMPANY INVERTED THUMBPRINT BLUE/GREEN FINGER BOWL
I thought this was made by Hobbs and Brockunier but someone contacted me and told me I was wrong. Unfortunately they couldn't tell me who made made it. So I went searching and have found a couple that look just like this except in cranberry and they are attributed to the New England Glass Company. It is a Inverted Tumbprint Finger Bowl, circa 1880-1900 and is a sort of an aqua or blue green color. It is 2 3/4" tall and 4 1/2" across the top. There are a couple small air bubbles but no other damage, top is ground smooth. On the bottom there is a criss cross mark lightly drawn and a small swirl. Please look at the pictures. They are part of the description. All sales are final unless I have grossly misrepresented and item. The origins of this bowl are uncertain but of American then companies such as New Martinsville Ferry. MT. Washington, or New England Glass should be considered as possible markers. If European, then it might have been made by Stevens Williams or a Stourbridge area factory. It is a finely crafted thin walled bowl with a high pitched'ring' when struck, a common expectation with most elegant Victorian glass. The bowl stands about 1 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" wide across the ruffled rim. The base is about 4" wide and has a quilted pattern in the center of the glass. Wonderful Pomona art glass rose bowl by New England Glass Works in the late 1800's The etched glass has pale gold staining on the scalloped edge. Base, and leaves, and pale blue or lilac staining on the flowers. The body of the vase is textured and has a frosted look. This is absolutely stunning! The back side of it is the design work. Which is like a diamond grid. Really beautiful, for nuts, candy or whatever, however, there are areas where it has been set down or banged that sort of flattened the pattern. However, again, the only way you can see it is to hold it up to the light, believe me, it does not distract from this piece at all. It is a light blue color and the gold trim is perfect except the dip area in the rim where it is worn, measures 5 1/2" This is really a charming piece.

appx. 4.5x8" footed medium size bowl. Blue ground color, white honeysuckle vine decoration, an English CAMEO GLASS bowl made by Thomas Webb. England, no date(late 19th century, in whole and entire condition-however, there are 2 large conjoined pieces broken out of one side and glued back-see pix.Clean breaks with little or no loss. Lovely Webb bowl usually said to be the work of the Woodalls. Serious damage only given the most basic glue restoration at some point in its history. Beautiful and accurate honeysuckle winds its way around the outside. Nice butterfly on back No marks as is fairly common. Paypal, US$. US priority insured shipping is $16, non-US at cost. No Reserve.
