First the measurements: The beautiful ruffled bowl is 8-10 in it's undulations. The metal frame is approximately 9 1/2 wide and 11 1/2 high. I see no flaws in the bowl, no chips, cracks. The frame is in great condition no repairs or blemishes, although there is pitting on base, the part that is covered by the ruffled bowl. The hallmark is clear and it has an engraved number on the bottom. The ingraining on the base is exquisite. Victorian Glass RUFFLED BRIDES BASKET 11" wedding vase cranberry pink
This is an original Victorian-era Bride's Basket measuring about 11" diameter and 4" tall. Originally designed to be held inside a goldtone metal handled frame. It would have held flowers for the bride to carry flowers. This coloring is from a cranberry to pink. This is a hand-blown piece with a ground pontil. Regarding condition: There are two rim chips that you cannot find without feeling for them. They are extremely minor. There are no other chips. Cracks, breaks, or wear. There are the typical maker's imperfections, such as air bubbles, overlay separations. Again, these are hand-blown, and each piece is unique to the Victorian-era maker. Needs washing. This piece would work well with the addition of a flower frog in the center to hold cut flowers or an artificial arrangement or to hold fruit. I don't know the origin beyond that. The bottom underside is stamped with a clover and then it says plating works. one side of the handle is loose from where it is attached to the base. The glass is perfect no chips no cracks no scratches. The bottom of the bowl which is rough glass has some miner scratches on it.

Brockunier& Company was issued a patent on January 29, 1884, in William Leighton, Jr.s name(extracted from"The Collectors Encyclopedia ofAmerican Art Glass" by John A. Shuman) This is comprised with mica flakes laid atop of a base color and an added color, and blown out to a desired shape that is encased in a clear top layer. It consists of cased glass. White on the bottom and a soft blue with hues of violet throughout on top. The edges are evenly ruffled in a graduated fashion, being the tallest at the back, shortest at the front. The tips of the edges are adorned with gold trim. This gold trim has a standard amount of wear for a piece from this period. If you have gold trim on a Victorian piece that isn't worn, it's a big sign of a fake. The bottom rim which would fit in a basket is 4" in diameter and over 1/2" deep. The glass has light thumbprint patterning and a ruffled and crimped rim. The sides are decorated with heavily enameled flowers. Branches, leaves and stems in green, pink, lavender, white, yellow, orange and brown. There are also gold leaves and stems. The bowl has a ground base. It is in very nice condition with no cracks or noticeable chips. It has one small(less than 1.4" flake on the bottom side of one ruffle. The enameling has no losses. But there is loss on the gilded trim. The bowl looks fabulous as it stands, but would also look super in a bride's basket frame. Thanks for looking.

Ruffled silvercrest rim edge. White in center, shades to blue toward rim. Marked Austria on bottom. Polished pontil mark. Selling as found with unmarked metal base. Bowl sits down into base. Bowl measures 11 1/2" across. Stands just over 3 1/2" tall at highest sections of ruffle. Base of bowl measures 3 1/4" across. Metal stand is 5 5/8" tall. Opening is 4 5/16" across. Do not know maker or exact age. I did not attempt to polish metal- it looks like there is some plating loss. Especially on ornate center section. No chips or cracks found in bowl. There is some wear to the gold trim- mostly noted on leaves- plus. It looks like ... morethere were gold dots on raised points around inside of bowl but most have worn off. This amazing beautiful cranberry fading into a light pink and white antique brides basket. The Amsterdam Silver Company quadruple plated basket with a marking and number 322- has a lovely ornate handle and measures 13" high x 11" across. The beautiful ruffled-crimped porcelain basket has a wonderful deep cranberry colored rim which fades into a lighter pink and than into a bright white. The ruffled-crimped porcelain basket measures 9" x 11" I see no chips or cracks in the basket. There is a small black spot which looks like it was made at the time the basket was made. This lovely hand blow glass has wonderful color and it is a stunning 100 year piece.

Vintage Victorian Glass Brides Bowl Basket Silver Holder Lot Pink & Blue Ruffled
I don't know much about antiques.with that being said I will do my best to describe these! One pink ruffle edge bowl that slowly gets lighter as It fades to the middle. No chips at all! Absolutely beautiful! Blue glass bowl Is see thru. And a gorgeous blue with ruffles that have white on them. No chips at all either. Both have silver holders and I am assuming they are silver plated? Not sure. One is cleaner than the other and could use shining. These bowls are amazing! I was at an estate auction and bought a random box and these were packed in the bottom. I was bidding on the box for what was on top and there beautifies just happened to be there. A very nice antique. Circa 1890's, Molded milk glass bride's bowl shaded to a seafoam green at the top. It is hand enameled with teeny flowers, and gilt scrolls. Measures 4-3/4" tall by 11" diameter, the base 3-5/8" diameter. Glass without chips or cracks, enamels unworn, the gilting is worn from the interior, not worn from exterior.

Large Antique Signed Quadruple Plate Brides Basket with Pink Fenton Ruffled Bowl
Be sure to add villagewares to your favorites! The base of this Antique Signed Bride's Basket was manufactured in the late 1800's from quadruple plate silver with its' characteristic grey to black hue. The 4 3/4 inch diameter foot with narrow paneled band narrows to a 1 1/2 inch neck which holds the 5 1/2 inch base which holds the bowl insert. The circular handle takes off from opposite sides of the base. With decorative flowers and stems spreading out 4 1/2 inches from the handle. On the underneath of the base there is an encircled star symbol with readable print of"quadruple" and"564" beneath the symbol. One of the floral stems is missing on one side. Both pieces are signed. The quadruple plate base holds the large signed Fenton pink bowl with 4 3/4 inch diameter base. This is not the original bowl for the ... moreholder. But it is a pretty good marriage, fitting nicely, but not perfectly. The large bowl ruffles allow the basket's handle to fit in. The bowl flares out and up, with the hobnails getting larger and turning more opalescent as they near the eight large ruffles which are topped by a 1 inch crimped milky band at the rim. The hobnails glisten. The bowl stands 4 1/2 inches tall at its' tallest point and is 11 1/2 inches at its widest point. Overall, the brides basket stands 11 1/2 inches tall. Vintage Brides Basket Pink & White Glass Ruffled Edge Hand Made Insert Only
This brides basket glass insert is not marked by any manufacturer. It is a dark pink edge going to a light pink and then white on the inside with a thin clear edge. The back is mostly white. The edge is a ruffled and crimped style. This is a very thin and fragile glass brides basket insert. It looks to have been hand made with a smoothing grind mark on the base where a hand blown pontil mark would have been. The basket measures 10 1/2" in diameter across the widest part of the ruffles by 8 1/2" across the narrowest part. The base measures 2 7/8" wide in diameter and sits up about 3/8" high. The basket measures 3 3/4" tall at the highest point. The basket is in excellent condition. I have gone over the edge with my hand and eyes and there is no damage. Lovely Antique Victorian Ruffled Blue Opal Brides Basket Bowl WF NY Paper Label
Beautiful antique ruffled brides basket bowl. It is a wonderful robins egg blue to white color. Almost opalescent depending on the light situation. It still has it's original paper label. Label reads W.F. Inc. NY and has horses on it. I could not find any record of a retailer in New York with those initials. It came from the estate of a lady who did have many items purchased from the New York World's Fair. Any help is welcome and appreciated. It measures 9-1/2" in diameter and 4" tall. The glass blown yellow swirl brides bowl is stunning. The Monarch silver plate basket measures 11 1/2" tall x 10" wide. There is some patina and wear. Wonderful ornate handcrafted design on the Monarch Silver Basket. The center base measures 5" The brides bowl measures 9" in diameter 2 3/4" tall. I see no chips or cracks on the bowl.
