I don't know the exact age of ... morethis teapot. But it is the most beautiful one I have ever seen. The carving on it is intricate. The lid, legs, handle and spout are also very ornate. It's patina is even extremely attractive, having a dark silver and coppery tinge. There is one small dent that can be felt on one side and two dents on the other. They are within the silver design but one can be seen if you look for it. One of the side photos will show that. Have no idea of how they happened, but it didn't mar the finish on the outside. This teapot is 8 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" wide. It has a lot of stamps on the bottom: Homan SilverPlate Co. Warranted B, Quadruple Plate, an anchor, the#2158, Special Metal, a bucket with an"H" in it and a pick crossing over it and the#5 below all of it.

It looks like it could be a bubble in the glass right on the edge, it is hard to see. I see some tiny chips on some points of the cut glass pattern part, this is also hard to see. This is a really beautiful antique Tiffany scalloped and footed bowl. It measures 6" across and 3 1/2" high I bought this just few years ago! But would like to thin out all my glass collections. When I bought this at an antique store, I was informed that one foot was partially broken and that the rest of the"feet" were cut and polished so that the bowl remained level. I found that it did not take anything away from the beauty of this piece. It is signed on the bottom along with numbers 3455 C. I thought that it was just a stunning piece and didn't care, because I never saw a piece this big in footed bowls. The interior bowl color is rosy blue and the rest is a beautiful gold favrile. The bowl looks to be a Steuben blank#1585 that I found pictured on page 323 in"The Glass Of Frederick Carder Book By Paul V. Gardner. Dated 1971" Steuben made blanks for TG Hawkes from 1903 to 1932. I believe this is an earlier piece because of the mark. The mark is acid etched on the foot of the bowl and is shown in my pictures. The bowl measures 5" diameter and is a 1-1/4" deep. The total heighth is 3-5/8" tall with a 3-1/16" diameter base. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There is surface wear on the base consistent with age. Thank you for looking. It has a tiny tightly scalloped edge that flares out from a self beaded band that at one time must have been gilded. Then the bowls puffs out at four sides where there are four fancy feet. Also gilded with gold. The glass is extremely glossy and reflective. The bowl is in very good condition. There are a couple of manufacturer made marks at the bottom of the inside bowl as shown in photo above. Also a few tiny scratches. The bowl really looks like it was never used. The bowl fluoresces a Vaseline green when black-light tested; definitely dating it before the Fire King Glassware. This is a dainty piece approx. 5.25" diam. x 2.25" high with grape leaves& clusters encircling the bowl with a lot of the gold worn from the design. If you know the maker and age of this item. Please let me know. It's very pretty glass bowl or candy dish. Would be great with a plant also. It is pink glass with the lacy or looped edge. There are several tiny chips around the outside edge of the loops. One is a large chip but the loop is still in place. One tiny chip on the upper inside edge. Most chips are size of a flea bite. I took a picture of the bottom so you could see how the three feet are formed. Very pretty bowl. Almost 7.5" diameter including the loops, almost 5" dameter inside the bowl and 3.5" tall. Old Antique 19th Century Apothecary Footed Glass Medical Leech Fish Bowl Bottle
Up for auction is an excellent antique glass leech bowl circa early 1800s. Handmade blown glass bowl has a long neck with an everted rim and a flared foot. Very cool sculptural form. In very good condition with cloudiness to about the bottom half of the interior which I have not tried to clean. No cracks or chips. Please see photos carefully for details. ANTIQUE PRESSED or CUT GLASS ORNATE SCALLOP SAW TOOTH EDGE FOOTED BOWL
This is an antique. What I believe is cut glass, footed bowl. It glistens and the cuts are deep. The bowl is heavy for it's size(3.75 inches tall and 4.75 inches across the top. The only issue I can see, and you have to look very carefully, is along the fan design. There is a line that goes through it. You can't feel it on the outside or the inside and you have to look hard for it, but it is there. I could not get it to show in a photo. I do not know if it is a hairline crack or just the nature of such an old piece. It is very pretty and this"flaw" would be be noticed unless you were looking for it. This would be a nice addition to your collection. These items came out of an old estate in Independence. Missouri and were stored in an old steamer trunk. The husband died in 2008 at the age or 93 and his wife passed away this ... morepast year at the age or 90. The niece of the couple sold everything at auction. The trunk was one of the last things sold and was sold without anyone knowing what was inside. It had several boxes on top and everyone assumed it was empty. Imagine my surprise when a couple of strong guys carried it out of the basement for me and I opened the lid for the first time. it was filled with antique glassware. I will be listing the contents of the trunk within the weeks to come so please check back often and enjoy. HARTENT ANTIQUES Beautiful antique Anglo Irish sparkling cut clear crystal bowl This bowl is impressive. But these old utilized crystal bowls do not generally appear without indications of usage in the form of chips. The foot is thick! measuring 3/4" Panel cut circumference with star cut on base. Some chips to star edges. There are 3 panels on one side with large chips, all other panels have small nicks and one with a surface flaw. The bowl has a wide band of diamond shaped cuts. Graduating from small at the lower portion. To large at the top. Some of the edges of the diamonds have very tiny nicks. The bowl flares outward to the top where at the rim are sort of"thumb print" cuts. Finishing with a thick flat surfaced top rim. A few of these"thumb print" cuts have tiny flea bites. No chips or nicks noted on the top ... morerim. There are surface scratches here and there. I wouldn't say anything major. All said. The bowl STILL displays beautifully! Up for bid is a magnificent PAIR of Anglo Irish Cut Crystal footed Tazza and Compote. These stunning pieces have beautiful form. Ring like a church bell and have excellent heavy weight and cutting. TAZZA: photographed on left: The piece measures 5& 1/2" tall by 8" across the opening and the base measures 3& 1/2" across. The TAZZA has three glitz. Two can not readily be seen as they disappear in the carving. The one that is visible is 1/4" All damage photos were taken using a macro lens The compote measures 8& 3/4" tall by 6& 5/8" across the top opening and the base is 4&1/4" across.
