They were filled with chilled water and the wine glass was inverted in the bowl, its stem resting on the pouring lip, to be rinsed or cooled between each course. This rinser measures approximately 3 1/2" high by 6"across from spout to spout and 4 3/4" from plain edge to plain edge. It is in very good undamaged condition. There are no chips. Cracks or regrinds. The glass has a lovely clarity with nice bubbles in the glass and some swirls from hand blowing near the bottom of the piece which I have tried to depict in the photos. I don't know much about this one as there is no mark or attribution but we purchased it with the understanding that it was antique and English. The glass is old and I can still see the marks from when the little spouts were formed. There is a crown over an initial(believe it is an"I" and then a capital"T" below that. The piece is 5 3/8" from spout to spout. 3 7/8" tall and is in excellent condition for it's age. It does show some signs of age surface scratches but no no chips, cracks or other damage.
