One metal leg is slightly wiggly, the flathead screw needing to be tightened. The metal has a nice patina, and the glass balls are in good, crack free condition, but dusty/dirty with normal use scratches at bottoms. The wooden base is in good condition, again, dusty/dirty. At the top is a 4" diameter, rusty hardware piece for attaching the seat, with three screws, one is missing as there should be 4. Beautiful vintage antique Charles Parker adjustable wooden piano bench stool. 2 of the crystal ball feel are broken. See pictures. the other 2 are ok. I am not sure of the wood. Might be walnut. This is a beauty. It has I believe cast iron claw feet. The wood on the seat has an age crack but not bad. With the seat all the way down, the bench measures 19" tall and the seat is 14" wide. I believe that this item will be absolutely stunning once it is refinished and stripped of this white paint and reupholstered. The legs are heavy metal. The center base is about 4" in diameter and about 13.5" long. There are no cracks or damage to the wood turning that I can see. The metal legs do not appear to be damaged or repaired in any way. This is in nice condition-the wooden seat is free of cracks, it may have been refinished I do not know I am not the original owner, we have simply used a good wood cleaner on it. The seat is adjustable, it has a screw type of hardware under the seat that simply turns right or left to raise& lower it. There are a few marks on the seat-as pictured. This also has wooden legs and a ball& claw design foot. The 5th& 6th pictures are more true to color on the feet-the last 2 pictures look darker than they actually are. THE FABRIC IS MOST LIKELY ORIGINAL. I HAD TO REPLACE A FEW OF THE SCREWS THAT GO INTO THE PIECE THAT WOULD HOLD THE SWIVEL SCREW- YOU WON'T SEE THEM UNLESS YOU REMOVE THE BENCH FROM THE BASE. It shows some signs of age and use. There are some paint spots underneath the seat and some other stains and build up. There is a small crack in the bottom of the seat(see pics) There the legs have some small spots where paint was dripped on it. It measures approx. 18” tall when the seat is all the way down. The seat measures approx. 14 ¼” in diameter. The feet are beautiful cast iron eagle claws with glass balls at the bottom. This is just an overall great piece and a wonderful find! For sale is an Antique Wooden Piano Stool with Claw Feet and Glass Balls. The Stool measures 19 ½” in height(at its’ lowest setting) and unscrews to a height of 22 ½” in height. The top seat is in good condition and measures 14 ½” in diameter. The bottom spindles(from the legs across to the center) to this are loose and may need to be reglued. The metal claw feet are in good condition. The glass balls for these have chips and cracks in them. The antique green paint looks original.
