Up for auction is an antique foot stool. The top comes off to use for storage underneath. It measures 19 long x 10 wide x 10 1/2 tall. Some wood cracks and chips. But foot stool seems very solid. I believe the wood is OAK. The bottom is made of some other type of wood. I took close up shots of the woods so you can see it for yourself and make you own judgement. This is a very Nice Chas Parker CO Oak Swivel Top Adjustable Antique Glass Ball Claw Foot Piano Stool made in Meriden CT. It is a wonderful piece and in very good shape. It has been very well taken care of and is out of an Estate. The glass balls on the feet are chipped pretty badly. Still Very sturdy and a wonderful piece. Piano stool is 19 inches tall when adjusted all the way down. I have not refinished or retouched the piece. Dowel legs look on good solid condition. Not wobbly at all. Someone toes the legs with string to he it together they way they used to to reinforce and strengthen and prevent the legs from breaking. Fresh from a country California estate. This unique rocking gout stool/ bench is in very good condition. The pale greenish blue tapestry is quite nice and the wood appears to be a dark stained Oak. I'm not sure how old this is but it certainly serves it's purpose. If you need a foot stool or just like the looks of this one.this is for you. At first I thought it might be a weaver's stool.and it certainly could be used for that.
