Antique Folk Art Three legged Cow Horn Stool
You are bidding on a three legged cow horn stool. I consider this folkart as most likely it was made by a man in his spare time in his farm shop. I do not have an age on this stool. I would guess somewhere between 1880's and 1930's. Stool is oblonged shape and is approximately 11 inches long by 8 inches wide and six inches tall. The stool has been recovered and the covering is held in place by thumb tacks. The stool is very solid. I believe these are cow horns as American bison horns are black. Nice piece of Americana. He left this and thousands of items stored and never taken to his store in another town. Now he is downsizing and trying to rid himself of overstock so his family won't have to do it in the future. Antique Foot Stool Footstool Primitive Folk Art Beautiful inlay Signed LW
Antique miniature primitive folk art stool. It measures 14" x 6" x 6 1/2" tall. It is inlaid with different wood pieces in a candy stripe pattern with a mariners compass in the middle. On each side are the inlaid initials L W. Both the side flaps and the ends are carved with the same design. It is in great condition. And sturdy. Thanks for viewing. Antique Victorian Heart Horn foot stool Folk art old west decor
This is a auction for a very unique foot stool. This stool was found in my grandfathers home over 60 years ago when a wall was ripped out to get into a crawl space.
