A set of 4"Davey& Co" London Ltd ships lights. Port, Starboard, Masthead and Anchor. Each one is 10" high approx and made of copper and brass. They have a pressed/stamped label"88 West India Dock Road" which I believe is the address where the chandlers used to be in the original Docklands. Each one can be opened to reveal an oil tank with adjustable wick. They have never been lit. I do not know the age of these items. On 14-Feb-13 at 11:24:40 GMT. Seller added the following information: Each lamp has an oil container inside which can be removed for replenishment. As can be seen from the additional photo. The Port& Starboard lights have a fixing bolt and bracket to the rear.

TWO SUPERB VINTAGE TUNG WOO – HONG KONG COPPER SHIPS LANTERNS PORT AND STARBOARD
Two Vintage Tung Woo– Hong Kong Copper ships Lanterns Port and Starboard Nautical Running Lights Description: These are two copper lights. One starboard with red glass and a label that reads“Tung Woo– Hong Kong– Trade Mark No. EB2874 Starboard” The other one has blue glass and a label that reads“Tung Woo– Hong Kong– Trade Mark No. EK2816 Port. I believe that the glass was blue because the original oil lamp flame was yellow and yellow light going through blue glass was brighter than using just green glass. Each lamp has a carrying handle. The tops open on hinges to one side. With a bolt locking the lids closed. On the back of each lamp is a mounting bracket and a threaded centre hole. These appear to have been at one point oil/ kerosene fuelled lamps. However both the burners have been removed. They could easily be converted into electrical ... morelamps or just have candles inserted. Smaller ones apparently were used on river boats while the larger ones were used on ocean going vessels. Dimensions: Both stand: 22 cm/ 9 ½ inches Weight: 3.5 kg Condition: Both lamps are in good vintage condition. They have a nice genuinely aged patina to the copper(unpolished or cleaned) the original red and green paint has been removed at some point to leaving some areas of paint residue. There are several small holes to the base and sides where the original fittings would have been secured. The glass lenses have no cracks or chips. Possibly designed for ships etc- I have no idea to their age but they are definately not the cheap modern copy's you see so often for sale on ebay. Item condition- This pair are in good condition with some wear and tear in keeping with their age. The copper whilst sound certainly requires a good clean/polish, I see no chips to the glass panels- standing approx 4" tall and being approx 4.5" at their widest point. British Copper and Brass Port and Starboard Ships Lamp A really fine quality and attractive pair of Copper and Brass Ship's lamps. One for Port, the other for Starboard. The Port one is made by Alderson& Gyde Ltd. of Birmingham. Both lamps are made of very heavy duty copper and brass with twin burners inside. They are extensively stamped with dates on different parts. Ranging from 1939 to 1945. The Port lamp has a brass plate with Bow PORT Patt 24. The Starboard has Bow STARBOARD Patt 24. The starboard lamp is also stamped W.T.G, indicating that although they are of the same construction, the lamp was built by a different company. The condition is very good. With just a few dinks in the metal and chips to the glass. The inner green glass has a crack, but this is not visble from the outside. Set of 3 Vintage Copper and Brass Seahorse Masthead, Port and Starboard Lights
Vintage set of prized"Seahorse" lights in great condition.they even have(12v) bulbs in them(no guarantees. The bulbs may be blown, but it seems churlish to remove and bin them! There is no sign they have ever been used. Though they surely must have been, they are quite old. I will not try and date them but I understand the"bullseye" glass in the navigation lights was originally used in oil lamps. Masthead light is 6" tall and navigation lights are 4 1/2" tall. As shown in the photos is a set of Wilcox Crittenden Port and Starboard Lights in like new unused condition. The rubber boot contact covers and rubber insulators(often missing) are also mint and ready to use. These lights are used on the side of the boat hull or cabin. The glass is also like new. A very heavy pair old bronze ships port/ starboard lights weighing 7.2 kg the pair. The blue glass is chipped and cracked as can be seen in the photo, the red glass has a couple of small chips as photo, these lights are superb quality and are uncleaned and as found with traces of original paint, the lights when mounted will be 11.5 cm high, they are 11 cm across the flat side, the total height including the thread section is 16.5 cm, the glass is 12.5 cm across and 6 cm high.

Seahorse ships lantern set Masthead Port Starboard Stern Vintage Antique
You are looking at a rare collection of these vintage early 1900's ships lanterns in very good condition. And not been butchered to electricity, ie original with wicks. Made of copper and brass. And at this stage unpolished as it gives them a more authentic feel although polish would soon bring them to a different look. The Port and Starboard Lanterns even have new wicks. The Stern and Mast head Lamps have the wicks present but have been lit at some time and the stern lamp lantern has come adrift from its fixing inside which looks like it was just a solder join. But could be lit and used with no modification. Antique Pair of Copper/brass Ships WW2 Lamps, Lanterns, Lights Port/ Starboard
World War 2 British Navy ships Port& Starboard lights dated 1942& 1944. Believed to have been removed/replaced in a Ship whilst at Aberdeen. Totally unique Gift and be stunning in the right place. As you can see from the original condition they have been transformed and I've re-wired them and they can be simply plugged in as household lights. They are almost exactly 12 inches high and 12 inches wide and weigh over 10Kg each. There are some knocks and dents but a totally unique piece. I would prefer not to post but obviously this will not suit all buyers. So have included an indicative postage cost. I suspect they may need to be sent separately hence the cost and will also need very good packaging. I will refund any difference in whatever the cost is + 10% that ebay also charge on postage costs.
