Original COPPER SHEET from the Hull of HMS VICTORY(44) This is a small Original strip piece of COPPER SHEET removed from HMS Victory during restoration. This is a small recangular strip section of copper cut from the edge of a damaged larger sheet. This edge section has a rough cut edge possibly from a broken sheet. Corrosion is the likely reason why the original large sheet was removed from the ships hull and there are irregular shaped holes in the piece. Original wood from HMS VICTORY This is an Original piece of wood removed from HMS Victory during restoration of the Ship in the 1990's. This piece is approx. 0.5 cm. x 1.6 cm x 13.0 cm long(max. This rectangular wood piece is flat cut in section on three sides and has possibly been cut from a beam or very large plank probably originally removed due to damage such as a large crack as the top surface is dark age patina and rough. UNUSUAL CARVED TREEN 19C BARREL HMS VICTORY DATED 1805
A piece of 19C barrel which has been engraved or graffitied. To the top it has the date 1805. Under that it has a coat of arms, with the name Victory beneath. To the centre of the barrel it has HN to the bung, and from top to bottom it has initials and names graffitied into it. The barrel piece is period. And carries good patina to the front. It measures 33 1/2 inches in length. 5 1/2 inches at the widest point and 4 3/4 inches at each end. This was found in the back of an old chest that I bought. A very interesting item. Possibly carved by one of the crew. Who was on board the HMS Victory at that time. If you require further info please contact me.

Art Deco Desk Set Made From The copper Sheathing, Bolt & Timber Of HMS Victory
Well what an interesting set this is. Made in the clear cut lines of the Art Deco period, but of course, what makes this so interesting are the plaques to the front which read" Made from the original Timber and Copper Sheathing of H.M.S Victory" on the boxes and"Made from an Original Copper Bolt and Timber from H.M.S Victory" We believe this to be the case the copper bolt has a weight and heavy gauge that definitely support this statement. Two of the plaques have been cleaned(not by us) and the third has not retaining its original patina. The two copper rings remove to reveal little velvet pads, a nice touch and obviously lovingly crafted. How often do you see something that is both beautifully made and so unusual. The dimensions are approx. 10" across for each item, but I will update this with exact measurements ... morelater on. No damage I have photographed the side of the piece with the copper bolt as it has a natural Burr in the wood from the timber, which is quite beautiful and a natural inclusion of wood. I sell this vintage memory. Memorial of the hms Victory ship. HMS Victory is a 104-gun first-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy. Laid down in 1759 and launched in 1765. She is most famous as Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. She was also Keppel's flagship at Ushant. Howe's flagship at Cape Spartel and Jervis's flagship at Cape St Vincent. SCRIMSHAW CARVING 'FAUX' WHALE TOOTH NELSON TRAFALGAR HMS VICTORY (SNUFF BOX?)
A heavy scrimshaw relief carving on a'faux' sperm whale tooth. One side features a portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson wearing his Breast Star of the Order of the Bath. The opposite side has the name of his flagship HMS Victory above an anchor with the commemoration of Trafalgar 1805 carved beneath. The base of the tooth is a removable lid(made from a cross-section of another'faux' sperm whale tooth) with a piece of darkened cork attached. The inside of the tooth is heavily stained a ruddy orange-brown colour- I'm not sure if this once contained snuff or was used for some other purpose. With the base. Large quantity of original Oak reclaimed from HMS VICTORY during restoration 04
HMS VICTORY Solid Oak pieces Reclaimed during her restoration Large quantity of roughly 300kg Most items are small pieces with a few larger pieces as well 18 boxes of pieces in total This is one of those very rare occasions when you get a chance to own something incredible. The Oak has been reclaimed from the HMS Victory during her restoration. The wood was purchased by Stewart Linford Chairmaker Ltd in 2004. Stewart Linford is a renowned quality Chairmaker if you google his name you will see lots of facts and details about the quality and expertise he has in the Furniture making industry. A lot of his bespoke pieces incorporate pieces of timber from famous historic vessels and he made the Victory table incorporating pieces from the HMS Victory. The pieces were sorted into shapes and on the sides of the boxes you can see these were noted ... moreas: small odd shapes. Long narrow pieces, small cubes and so on(please see photo) The boxes contain hundreds of pieces all different sizes and each box measures roughly 25cm x 30cmx 40cm. The official HMS Victory website has many items listed including framed pieces of reclaimed wood which sell for £135 each. This is a very unique opportunity to acquire a large amount of this wood and it is very unlikely you would get this opportunity ever again to purchase so much in one lot. There is a certificate of provenance(please see photo) from when the Oak was purchased by Stewart Linford Chairmakers Ltd in 2004. We purchased the items from a Liquidation sale following the company going in to liquidation. The purchase invoice for this lot can be provided so that the provenance can be traced back. ~ Well Built HMS Victory Model 1:98 Scale ~ This is a fully rigged. Plank-on-frame, kit built model of HMS Victory in 11/98th scale. The model is highly detailed with metal cannon. Lanterns, gratings and ships boats and is built to a high standard with all the various hardwoods showing. The model also comes with the full instructions and a book titled“HMS Victory Classic Ships- Their history and how to model them No.1” The kit was made in Italy by Modellismo Corel Milano and is model number SM23. The English instructions are also included. ~Dimensions~ The ship is 40.75 inches(103.5cm) long. 12.8 inches(32.5cm) wide at the lower mast yard and 28.1 inches(71.5cm) tall. The base is 18.1 inches(46cm) long. 7.5 inches(19cm) wide and the ship is 29.3 inches(74.5cm) tall on the base. The weight of the ship on the base is 2.34 kg. This wonderful item is copper salvaged from HMS Victory. Which was launched in 1765, and is best known as Lord Nelsons flagship at the battle of Trafalgar. The copper was salvaged during a refit. HMS VICTORY WOOD This is an Original piece of Wood taken from H.M.S. Victory, which was Admiral Lord Nelsons Flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. During restoration of the Ship in the 1990's this piece of Wood was cut from a larger section which was removed due to decay/damage. This wood section is an off-cut of Original Victory Wood used to make items for the HMS Victory 2000 MILLENIUM COLLECTION and other HMS Victory Items. Only good sound wood was used to make items and so edges of wood pieces and damaged parts were cut off. It comes with a certificate which gives the size and weight of the wood piece. The piece of original HMS Victory Wood that will be sent is square in shape and approx. max. 1.5 cm x 4.0 cm x 6.5 cm. See PHOTO. The wood piece is newly smooth cut on four sides and rough cut on one end. The other end is rough ... morecut and forms part of a circle. This is possibly part of a hole cut to take a wood peg called a tree nail that was used to join wood together instead of an iron nail that would rust. HMS VICTORY COPPER HULL PLATING. This is a small original piece of Copper Hull Plating taken from H.M.S. Victory, HMS Victory was Admiral Lord Nelsons Flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. During restoration of the Ship in the 1990's damaged Copper Hull Plating was removed and this is a small piece of Copper cut from a larger section which was removed due to corrosion decay/damage. It comes with a certificate which gives the size and weight of the small copper piece. The piece of original HMS Victory Copper that will be sent is very roughly triangular in shape and is approx. max. 6.5 cm x 8.0 cm. See PHOTO. The small piece is cut from a corroded/damaged sheet. The Surface of the copper is rough and very corroded with a nice aqua green verdigris and a number of holes. Hms Victory Leather Fire Bucket
HMS Victory leather fire bucket 19C? Heavily patternated. Two iron rings survive for the carrying handle. Corner mounts all heavily patternated with corrosion. Was used for cooking gun barrels and general purpose work. HMS Victory retains many of these buckets.
