Vintage Marine Nautical Hardware Mixed Lot, Steampunk, Nautical Decor, Repurpose
Please look carefully at the photos as there isn't too much more that I can tell you other than what is shown. The double pulleys are 2" long. Not including the hooks, and one of the wheels does not turn but it does look as if it can be released from whatever it is that is making it stick. The oar locks are not a pair. One is 5-1/4" long with an approximate 2-1/4" opening inside diameter. The other is 5-1/8" long with an approximate 1-15/16" opening inside diameter. Although the 5" clips look identical one is marked Atlas 403-A and the other Bourdon. Forged& Tested. I am guessing that all of these pieces are either iron or steel with the exception of the weight which could be lead. Any or all of them are probably functional but I would think the more appropriate use is decorative or repurposed in a creative ... moreway. These are estate pieces and are being sold as found. As is. I cannot guarantee that they have not been exposed to odors: smoking, fragrance, cooking, mustiness, mothballs, other types of storage odors or pets. To avoid the expense of shipping. This piece looks to be hand made as none of the scale marks match exactly in inches or centimenters. They are also not quite all the same. It is about 34.25" long. X just under 2" wide and is 1/16" thick. We first thought this piece was a fresh water tank gauge or fuel but the numbers start at the top at 100 and work down to the bottom at 700. You would think that if it were for liquid in a tank the numbers would start at the bottom at the 0 and go to the top at 700. as an empty barrel or tank would read 0 not 700. Hard ... moreto say.
