Details ... moreDescription: A beautiful glazed pottery lidded syrup or creamer having an applied handle. This creamer has a round base which flares inwards with straight sides. The sides are ribbed and have a nice look. The piece is decorated a hand colored transfer floral design. That is the outline of the floral design is a transfer which was then hand colored. The delicate floral design is very colorful and has green. Red, brown and yellow. The entire piece has a nice yellow cream coloring with a brown design at the rim and the back of the handle. The piece has a hinged pewter lid which is attached to the handle. The lid has a thumb piece to open it with. The lid has a central dome surrounded by a nice incised geometric design. The piece is marked on the bottom with the word"IVOIRE. The inside is also glazed with the same background coloring. Just a great looking antique. Please carefully view photos as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: Mid to late 1800s. Origin: Was purchased at an estate auction in Southeastern Pennsylvania Size: Measures ~2 1/2" diameter at the base. ~2 1/2" diameter at the top, and is ~6 3/4" at its highest to the top of the thumb piece. The piece weighs about 13 ounces. Maker: Unknown. Marks: Marked with the word"IVOIRE" within a rectangle in blue print under the glaze. Distinguishing Characteristics- Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a beautiful piece of antique decorative pottery. Condition: The syrup is in excellent condition with no cracks. Hairlines, chips, breaks, or repairs. It does have general crazing to the glaze, which is difficult to see but is there. It also has lighter colored spots especially near the base, which we are not sure what they are but they do not distract from the beauty of the piece. The scallop was often carved into American Chippendale furniture from the 18th Century. ... morePerfect size for milk or cream. Among my grandmother’s treasures was a collection of Relief Molded and Parian Pitchers. This pitcher is the perfect size for milk or cream. Indeed my grandmother often used it after dinner for coffee. The overlapping scallop shell motif is very unusual in a pitcher. Even more so for a Parian pitcher. The shells are further highlighted by the use of blue slip between the rows. It fits right in with my grandmother's love of New England. This type of stylized scallop shell was often carved into the famous antique Chippendale furniture. Made in New England. Typical for Parian pitchers. This one is very delicate and thin walled. It is probably English. Although the interior is glazed—therefore usable—which was a distinguishing feature of American Bennington Parian ware. It probably dates from the 1850s. Size: about 5 ¾ inches tall and about 4 inches wide at the widest and 5 inches from handle to spout. Condition is great except for a what appears to me as a couple of manufacturing flaws: a few tiny dark spots. Some surface hairlines near the spout that have darkened with age and what looks like a chip on the bottom ridge, except its edges are smooth. To me. That suggests that it happened before it was fired. The hairlines do not extend to the inside of the pitcher. Although one can be seen from the inside because it is darkened and because the wall is delicate and thin. They have obviously been there for quite a while and I would assume they happened during or shortly after the pitcher's firing. While it was cooling. A very unusual blue and white Parian pitcher that is also very useful. See my other auctions for more antique pitchers and New England serving pieces with scallop shells. Ebay Listing Page Antique Amish Snowflake Spongeware Stick Spatter Flow Blue Sugar Bowl Item Description: Up for auction is a beautiful antique spongeware or stick spatter decorated sugar bowl made in England during the late 1800s. The sugar bowl is made of earthenware and it is hand-painted in the Amish Snowflake pattern which consists of a deep cobalt flow blue color with snowflakes and a herringbone style border. The bottom of the sugar bowl is not marked. But this pattern can be seen in Kelly& Kowalsky's Spongeware book on pg. 209. Overall the sugar bowl stands about 6 7/8" tall. Item Condition: The overall condition of the sugar bowl is excellent. It is very clean and there are no chips. Have to really look close to find them. Scene depicts the following around the creamer; A girl sitting hunched over. With her hand on her cheek, under a tree with a dog. Next scene is boy pulling a billy goat with a boy falling off and another boy over the top of the goat with a stick or club. Yet another boy behind them carrying something over his shoulder. Antique Early 1800s Staffordshire 8" Octagon Flow Blue Sugar Bowl Davenport Amoy
This is an early 1800's flow blue sugar bowl made by Davenport in Staffordshire England. I believe it is made of soft paste porcelain. It has an octagon or eight sided shape. The mark appears to be one of their earliest. The base is stamped with pattern name"Amoy" along with"Davenport" in capital letters and there is an impressed anchor with Davenport printed around it. The pattern is a very attractive deep flow blue. I have taken several pictures for your better understanding. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have. As to the condition; The bowl is in excellent condition. There are no chips. Cracks, or noticeable scratches. There are normal rub marks on the top corners. There are two tiny spots on the finish. One looks like it could be a flake off the glaze and the other appears to have been done in ... morethe making. Both are insignificant. The lid has three tiny chips on the corners and a few underneath. The handle on the lid has a small chip mostly on the underside. These are not noticeable without close inspection and do not affect the display. Everything is clearly shown in the pictures. For it's age, I would say it is in excellent antique condition. This sugar bowl is good size. It measures 8" high with the lid on. It is 6 1/4" wide from handle to handle. The top rim is 5 1/4" across from corner to corner and the base is 4 1/4" across from corner to corner. It weighs 1 lb. 7 oz. unpacked. We pack everything very carefully. Ebay Listing Page Antique Staffordshire Amish Snowflake Spongeware Cream Pitcher Item Description: Up for auction is a beautiful antique spongeware decorated cream pitcher made in England during the mid to late 1800s. The creamer is made of earthenware and it is hand-decorated in the Amish Snowflake pattern which consists of a deep cobalt flow blue color with snowflakes and a herringbone style border. The bottom of the creamer is not marked. But this pattern can be seen in Kelly& Kowalsky's Spongeware book on pg. 209. Overall the creamer stands approximately 4" in tall. Item Condition: The overall condition of the creamer is excellent. It is very clean and there are no chips. Cracks, or repaired areas. There is one tiny fleabite to the top rim, but that is it! This sugar pot came from an auction in Vermont. The lid is missing. There is crackling in the glaze. Mostly on the bottom. The two handles have chips on the undersides that can be seen from the top a little. There is some chipping on the rim that holds the lid and some discoloration. There is a crack line inside the top of one handle but seems very secure and does not go through to the underside of the handle, see the last picture.

Schumann Old Meissen sugar bowl/Blue onion/blue stamp/Antique/Barvaria/white
This beautiful.Antique sugar bowl was made by Schumann in Barvaria Germany, between 1918-1929, yet the blue under glaze stamp dates to the first half of the century as it has the early flat crown lion shield mark in lieu of the domed crowns seen in the later 1920's. It is in excellent condition for its age. No crazing, chips or cracks. It has normal wear on the bottom. the colors are still bright and vibrant. it is very ornate with blue flowers throughout the pattern, and of course the blue onion bulbs. The lid has a bulb shape handle with deep blue lines out lining it. The top of the bowl is a scalloped design. I looked for weeks trying to find this sugar bowl, or the creamer and had no luck, so it must be rare. The measurements are 3 1/2 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches deep by 4 3/4 inches in diameter. Color is brilliant clear blue base& opalescent blue upper. Approximate dimensions, 4 1/4 In tall, 4 In. across rim to rim& 3 In. across base. It is very good condition for its age. Antique Vintage Sugar Box Blue & White Handles Fern Sugar Bowl Sugar Pot
This blue and white sugar box came from an auction in Vermont. The bottom is embossed with the maker's mark but I cannot make it out. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am unsure of it's age. It measures 5 3/4" high to the top of the knob on the lid, 6 3/4" across from handle to handle, and 4 5/8" wide. It has some discoloration marks. There are no cracks, some chipping on the rim and edge, next to and under where the lid rests. There is a chip on the corner of the lid and a small chip on the underside of the lid. There are a couple of rub marks, one on the handle, see the 7th picture. There are some rough spots.

Teichert was one of several local companies that were granted permission by the German government to produce this pattern that was widely popular at the time and still is to this day. It measures roughly 4 3/4" tall x 4 1/2" across from the handle to the spout. It has crazing on the bottom of the jar and on the inside. There are small chips in the paint and a long scratch running down the inside of the container. It has a few flea bite type chips all over the body and a couple larger chips around the rim and another chip towards the bottom. It measures approximately 5" across and 6" tall. Sorry! This antique Tesserman& Vogt porcelain creamer and sugar bowl are absolutely beautiful. The creamer is 3 1/2" tall at the spout. It is in great condition with no damages other than one small chip on the side of the spout that someone has covered in gold. The sugar bowl is 2 7/8" tall and 3" wide across the top. BLUE DELFT ANTIQUE COW CREAMER This is a stunning BLUE DELFT/FLOW BLUE cow creamer. It is glazed and hand painted with blue. Has windmill on one side and ships on both sides. The cow is extremely well detailed. The body looks so real. The face, neck, legs body, all show the muscles, sinews, etc of the cow. The hooves are cloven. The hair on the tip of the tail, the udder with teats. This is a really amazing antique creamer. About 7" nose to tail. 5.25" at highest point. Just under 2" at widest area. There is one factory flaw on the top opening near where the end of the tail rest on the back, this is UNDER THE GLaze and so is from manufacturing process. But 2 of the teats on the udder are chipped. One a tiny bit the other about half way, these are the front ones. I have photgraphed all these items.
